Wow! Can't say enough positive things about "Jamie" (Service Tech) and the Phone Operator who scheduled my call (didn't get her name - but she was really great and courteous - At any rate, I called early this morning a little after 8AM and actually expected to have to wait several days to get help with my locked Garage Door......It simply come down and would not go back up.....- Both my wife and I are old and decrepit - I am a disabled veteran - neither of us very mechanically inclined - Long story short - Our wonderful technician came in approximately 15 minutes - and 20 minutes later the door was fixed!!!......Needless to say - our door needs replacing soon - and we will definitely be using Overhead to install the new one!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Thanks guys!!!

The technician called me 30 minutes in advance and arrived on time. He was very courteous and explained everything he was doing. All work was performed in a timely manner. Definitely recommend.

I thought I'd posted a 5-Star review for this business on YELP. But it seems to have evaporated. I've had at least three visits from their technicians. ALL have been awesomely competent, resolved my current "crisis" and went on to improve my garage door operation and security. ALL of their techies were polite, professional, honest, and exceeded all my expectations. What can I say other than to do yourself a favor and use this company.

Called yesterday evening and they came next morning. Jamie was fast and awesome! Told me price and was just that. Knows everything there is to know about these doors. Replaced the entire circuit board on the overhead unit in about five minutes. Went the extra mile and programmed my truck to open the doors. Legit company, fast, and I feel reasonable.

I needed my torsion springs because one had broken. I called on Monday and the technician was here the next morning. The technician was prompt and the work was done very quickly, but the speed it seemed had more to do with getting to another job. Several issues with the service was cost. I didn't get a breakdown of the bill. I didn't receive my military discount and the $336 price for replacing two springs seems high. I know we're ruled by money but customer service is important too. I can't say I would recommend this company again, I would say shop around first then make your decision. I was in a time crunch and didn't do that. Lesson learned.

Technicians showed up promptly, with great attitudes and were completely professional as well as informative. Pricing was spot on (no garbage fees, charges, other issues, etc.). Finished expeditiously with excellent workmanship and went over repairs with me which showed true pride in their craft. Only company I will ever use again!

Jamie's company has done two jobs for me in past few years. Both have been awesomely executed. The first was replacement of broken springs on garage door; that repair was far less expensive and took less time than I had dreaded. More recently they did replacement of outdoor control panel and purchase of a second pocket remote for the garage door opener; required less than 30 min. As the technician exited, he sprayed lubricant on the door railing mechanisms; that door has never operated as quietly! I recommend them without reservation to anyone needing garage door maintenance and repair.

Update: I tried & could not think of anything else Jamie could have done, so Yes he deserves a 5th star:-) My garage door closed, then immediately reopened, would not stay shut. Called Overhead & technician Jamie arrived same day within scheduled time frame. He tested the door & diagnosed bad sensors. Jamie replaced the sensors--problem solved. Before he left he installed light bulbs in opener (I couldn't reach it), and at my request found out & told me the door's age, said it was sufficiently reinforced, explained how to realign sensors if they got out of alignment, and said what to exoect if door springs break. A great service call. Bonus: $20 off service fee via coupon on their website. Definitely will call Overhead again if problem is something i cannot handle myself.

I wish all the businesses I deal with were this good. I was given a quote within minutes. The technician went out of his way to work with my schedule. He arrived quickly and on time. the tech was knowledgeable and brought the right parts to make the repair. Not only did he make the repair he checked and serviced other components of my garage door. All of this was done for the quoted price.

My experience with Overhead was fantastic! I called them on a Saturday morning and they were to my house within 15-30 minutes. The repairman Jamie was very knowledgeable and professional. He had everything done by 1000 am and still had time for my questions. The price was reasonable. Overall we were extremely impressed! Called the day before and operator was very professional and said repair person would be out in the morning at about 8am next day. Tech was there on time and assessed job and went to work. I decided to have both springs replaced while it was being repaired. Tech did a great job and was very professional and had the job finished in about 45 minutes. Services Rendered: One of the main springs on lifting the garage door snapped and had to be replaced.

My garage door was installed by Overhead within the past year. Overall they did a decent job except they installed the rail/springs on a 2x4 nailed into the wall. Over time it came loose and pulled the 2x4 out of the wall while I was closing it. I emailed to see if they would fix it. I was informed that the repair would cost me $100. They said the "part" (2x4) that came loose was part of the original home and was not covered under warrantee. I asked why the 2x4 wasn't replaced with something better or at least screwed down during install. They said it wasn't needed. I wasn't going to pay them to fix their own install deficiency so I'm someone else's customer now. They had their chance to make it right. Services Rendered: I emailed them to see if they would perform repairs.

I called the Ft Walton Beach number and was informed they could have a technician at my house within an hour. Mike arrived as scheduled, replaced the springs, adjusted the garage door opener to the new spring tension and cleaned up the area. Before he left Mike reminded me to save the paperwork and went over the 5 year warranty on the springs with me. Services Rendered: Replaced Garage Door Springs and adjusted garage door opener

They came while I was at work, completed the repair and install and adjusted the door. It was like a new very quite garage door again. Was very happy with their work and they were very courteous on the phone setting everything up. I have them in my contact list for any future work. Services Rendered: Replaces springs on garage door. One of the springs snapped. I cannot remember the exact amount I paid, I put $300 put I think it was more around $250.00

Overhead is one of the more popular garage door companies in the Pensacola area. I have decided that this is not my year for household electronics. After my washer boot was repaired, the garage door malfunctioned. My family parks all of our cars in the garage, so two of our cars were trapped in the garage after the 2-car garage door failed to open because of a broken spring. I had seen Overhead's advertisements in the mail, so I decided to try them out. When I called the office, the lady on the phone told me that the tech was arrive at 10:00 am the next day. What was supposed to be 10:00 ended up becoming 1:00 pm. Yep, you heard me. Three hours late. After waiting for one hour, I could wait no longer, as I still had to go to work that day. I ended up having to call in to excuse myself for the entire day because of the company's/tech's tardiness. If he called to notify me, I would have been ok with it. But, the company kept on telling me to wait 20 more minutes. At last, after waiting for 3 hours, the tech arrives saying that he was "backed up" and apologized. The tech then proceeds to tell me that forgot to bring a ladder with him! So, I show him where OUR ladder was, and I let him use it. After he finished fixing the garage door, I pay the bill and he leaves, not telling me that he left the ladder right in the middle of the driveway. Our driveway is curved, so when you exit the garage, you don't see what is behind you until you come out of the garage. Right when I come out, Bam. A dent in my car. Through all the repair companies I have hired, this one has got to be the most unprofessional.
