We waited 3.5 hours for the gentleman to show up, and he spent under 5 mins with my husband. He walked in and said the door was trash, everything is trash it all needs replaced and left. This isn't verbatim, as I wasn't there, but it was the gist. Did I purchase an older home, yes. Does the door need to be replaced, probably. But there's a better way to go about it.
Jim is very customer oriented and very knowledgeable. He went beyond expectations to adjust garage door.
James was the best person ever! He informed me on what exactly was needed. He didn't take advantage of my ignorance and he made sure everything was 100% before he left. Would recommend him even to my worse enemy because he's just that good!

I've done business with James for close to 20 years. I have never been disappointed in his workmanship. He's replaced garage door openers, repaired garage doors, repaired garage door openers and installed new garage doors. He has superb work ethics, polite, always shows up on time! I would highly recommend him!
Jim was very polite, did great work' made sure all the little details were taken care of. He cleaned everything up when he was done and hauled away old door, and opener. We would recommend using Jim , if you need a new garage door or repair work on existing door.
they were able to schedule and appointment around my garage door opener that had been out for about a week. They came early and were very professional and polite. Fixed in about an hour and it is so quiet! Highly recommend!
Jim was late and was not professional when he arrived. He acted as if we were wasting his time and like he didn't want to be there. It took him almost a week to come fix it. Very happy with the service we received by Doors and More. First of all when I called, the woman answering the phone was very pleasant and extremely helpful. I ended up having a broken spring and the cable came off the spools. They came out the next day and fixed the door. Service was very prompt and he was able to fix the door fairly quickly. The repair man was very friendly and worked quickly. I recommend this company and will call them again, if I need their help.

Friendly and Fast. From the person answering the phone to the owner/repairman Jim, it was a completely positive experience. He arrived when expected (calling first too, always nice). He replaced our broken torsion spring and was very knowledgeable. He adjusted the door for optimal operation. His company is highly recommended for any garage door needs.
When it comes to repairs that I can't do myself or perhaps are a little too dangerous for a non-professional handyman like myself, I choose companies/individuals based on 4 criteria - quality of work, business professionalism, promptness, and cost. Others may choose different criteria or in a different order, but those are mine. After reading several reviews, I decided to use Doors and More when one of the tension springs for my garage door snapped in half one day. (Both of the tension springs were probably about 25 years old.) I could not be happier with the choice and the results. First of all, the office was very professional and courteous. How often do you call some company for work and get an attitude from them that THEY are doing YOU a favor and they'll "try" to do their best to fit you in? All too often for me. Not with this company. They seem proud of their work, rightly so, but they also know what customer service is. The individual who showed up the next day for the work showed up exactly on time, explained exactly what he was going to do, and then did the work quickly. He also went above and beyond what I asked for by doing some minor maintenance tasks and pointed out another potential problem with the door that might occur down the road. To be completely honest, the cost was about 20% higher than other places that I know of would have charged, but cost was the least of my concerns, and I'm more than glad to pay a fair price for a premium service. I cringe at the Wal-Mart mentality most people have when it comes to very personal and important things such as your home. I'm of the "you get what you pay for" persuasion, and when everything is a race to the bottom (Wal-Mart mentality), that's exactly what you're going to get - the bottom. The results were well worth the cost, and the experience was one of the very few times I've contracted someone for work and was completely satisfied and impressed afterward.
One of the torsion springs on our garage door broke. Watched a YouTube video and decided I was going to try replacing them myself. Was talking to one of the most handy people I know and he told me he wouldn't even do it himself (it can be dangerous) so I decided to call for an estimate. I was surprised by how reasonable the price was and decided it was a no-brainer to have someone else do it. Jim was not only on time but a little early. He had both springs replaced in just over 20 minutes. Even took my old springs to be recycled. Very professional and very happy with their service, would definitely recommend them based on my experience today!

The spring on my garage door broke in the evening. I called early the next morning and they scheduled the work that afternoon. After replacing both springs, he adjusted the chain and lubricated all flange wheels. He also inspected the entire door. Very fast, excellent work. Will use again and recommend highly. Excellent all around. I heard a loud bang from inside the house, but couldn't identify the source except garage door would no longer open without great strength. This happened on a Friday night. Found Doors and More on Angie's List with good reviews and a local business. Called Saturday morning, very polite and professional woman. She confirmed what I suspected, that the spring broke, and gave me an approximate price. Appointment was scheduled between 12-1 and he arrived about 11:45. As a single female, having a repairman show up in a company shirt, clean clothes, acting professionally and treating me with respect goes a long way. Jim explained the problem, what he was going to replace, and quoted a price. He replaced the spring system with a better version, new cables, and lubed the door. Total was as quoted at $275 and completed in a little over an hour. Would definitely use them again and recommend, especially since they are a local business. Awesome service. Had a cheapo garage door from large, home improvement store installed by my contractor. After a few months it was binding bad, and I started to get concerned. Anyway, James/Jim?, was next door installing a door on another house. I interrupted him to see if I could set up a time for him to look at mine. He stopped what he was doing to come over and check it out. Within 2 minutes he identified about 5 things that were wrong with the door/installation. He was able to come by the next day and fix it, which he did. As of now, the door still operates perfectly, and I will continue to refer anyone needing service to this company. They know what they are doing.
