I had a great experience working with Dotan and his team. He was very personable, came onsite for the quote and measurements, and gave me great suggestions upon my request. The end product was exactly as discussed and I'm thrilled with the work. For once everything was easy and as promised! I highly recommend them and cannot thank them enough!
Our garage door started going extremely slow and then stopping about 2 ft up. Called Precision who installed the doors, who could only schedule a week out and couldn't give me any guidance. I called D Bar and Dotan picked up. He asked me to describe the issue, and then asked that I walk out to the garage with him on the phone. Within a minute we diagnosed the issue, and he was out 2 days later with the new springs. Replaced all at a very reasonable price and tightened all the bolts on both of the doors (including the one he didn't work on). He was extremely friendly, hard working and will definitely be my go to call when anything goes awry in the future, or if we need a new system installed.
The spring on our garage door was very obviously, visibly broken, which meant the opener couldn't lift it. I call D Bar in the afternoon and Dotan scheduled us for the next morning. He was on time, efficient, friendly and completed the job with no problem. Highly recommended, would call them again for sure.
About three months ago, accidentally backed into my garage door. I needed to eventually be able to take my vehicle out my garage, but with the door bended that was not possible. Called a few garage install/repair businesses, but two of them were not able to come right away. The third called that I place was to D Bar Garage Doors, and Dotan took my call. Dotan said that he could be at my house in 30 minutes. This was music to my ears and I immediately accepted to have him come my house to help me out. Dotan showed up on time, was very friendly and said he would fix the garage door right away so I could take my vehicle out of the garage. Additionally, explained that he would check to see if he could find a replacement panel to avoid having to replace the entire door and save me some money. Unfortunately, the model for my garage was discontinued and the garage door had to be entirely replaced. Fortunately, my home insurance covered most of the expense and I just had to pay for the deductible. Long story short, Dotan within a few days delivered and installed the new garage door and I am very happy with the results. These guys were able to come out quickly when a spring in our garage door broke. The crew that came out was very clear with their communications and the fix (total replacement of the springs) was much more affordable than I expected. When I had a small, unrelated issue a couple of months later, they came out and did a quick fix at no charge.
Excellent customer service. I believe it was the owner who I spoke with over the phone when I was calling around to different garage door repair businesses. He was very helpful. The price to replace the garage door system was reasonable and we had two techs out here the next morning to fix the door. The techs were friendly and finished up in about an hour or so. This was my first time dealing with a garage door issue and the team at D Bar Garage made it a very easy process!
What a gentleman! Mr. Bar was fixing on one of my neighbors garage door and he noticed I was struggling to carry a huge tv stand from my car into my home ( I had wrist surgery 2 months now). He offered to help and we got the stand into my home. Mr. Bar was helpful when he didn't need to be and kind. I am sure it reflects within his company services hence I had to leave a review.
Outstanding service and fair, honest pricing! They are professional and do not try to upsell, or "scare" you into making purchases for additional things you do not need. We have tried 2 other garage door services and D Bar is the way to go.

Called on a Monday, service scheduled for Tuesday. Initially, I was looking for a same day service and while calling around I decided to check out the website for D-Bar Garage Doors. This is when I noticed the company was veteran owned; therefore, I decided to schedule the service with D-Bar. The owner arrived within the communicated service window and had the correct parts for the torsion spring replacement. He was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable, in line with the bulk of competitors (except those who were over-priced). The final price was less than the quoted price as there was a veteran discount applied. There was a small nominal fee for the use of a credit card, though it was my choice to use a credit card. The veteran discount more than covered the credit card fee. In speaking with the owner, he has three small kids. I would recommend supporting this business and this family!
You'll search far and wide before you find someone with as much pride in their work as Dotar and his crew. They are prompt, honest, clean, friendly and courteous. Best communication I've ever experienced with any project at my home from start to finish. Not to mention we are thrilled with the appearance and operation of our new 18' steel door. Great quote, hit the timeliness, prompt service...zero complaints. The whole deal took just a couple of hours. The hard part was waiting for the doors from the manufacturer which was not of their control

I have given a few five star reviews before but for DBar if there was six stars I would give it. Dotan was here at my home six years ago troubleshooting my original solid wood 50+ year old garage door and installed a new opener which still works perfectly to this day. Fast forward to December when the Winter Storm here in Portland froze everything and caused our original door here to fail crack and break in all sorts of ways. I was out of town and my wife was stranded with a broken door in the cold with two kids. I called Dotan from abroad to see if he could come by that day to see if he could find a resolution as my wife was leaving town the next day. Dotan picked up on the first call and said he could come by within the hour to help out. Long story short the door was broken and needed to be replaced. We ordered a new custom door with all the bells and whistles. His team gave us tons of information, flexibility in choices, and patience while making this decision. His install team was prompt, professional, and experts of their craft. They disassembled the old door and installed the new door which was tricky due to the height and width of our original garage. Dotan also came out personally himself at the end, with his kind smile and generous spirit and oversaw the finishing touches on the instillation, asking if we had any questions, explaining our warranty, and assuring us to call if we have any questions or problems. We are in love on how the new garage door looks and performs. It really adds a lot of value to the curb appeal of the home and fits perfect with our 100+ year old Tudor.

The company who installed the garage door canceled the day they were supposed to show up. I had been raising my garage door manually for a month. I got on Angie’s list and happen to call D Bar garage doors in Oregon City. Using FaceTime and doing as instructed by the technician, “we” figured it out within minutes. They did not even charge me! Couldn't have been more pleased with Dotan's very competitive price, quality of his work and product, and his timely response. No hidden fees, no additional service call fees or diagnostic charges. One of our cars was trapped inside our garage because of a broken 20-year old garage door spring that would not allow even manual lifting. Besides replacing the double door heavy duty springs, he lubed the worm drive, hinges and rollers to ensure a smooth operation.
