Yelp5Genuine Garage Doors has done a wonderful job every time we used them. The owner, Stephen, was prompt with a service call and then we had him do two garage installs as well. I'm a Realtor and now only send my clients to him! Everyone has been happy with their repairs!

Angi5This company's service was excellent, and the work Mike performed on my garage door and track system (to cure a closure problem) was stellar as well. I also appreciated Mike demonstrating and educating me on how to lubricate the door and rollers correctly, and the type lubricating product to use. I learned I've not only been doing an incomplete maintenance job, but doing it wrong. I will use this company again. Services Rendered: Adjust garage door and its track system.

Yelp2When we first used Stephen several years ago he was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, & fees were reasonable. Last time we used him he was not the friendliest. We thought he was having a bad. Recently we had a broken garage door spring on a Friday afternoon so we called & sent him an email. Never received a response. We ended up using Market Garage Doors & were very impressed with Leo & the job he did. C'est la vie Stephen!

Yelp5Genuine Garage doors recently installed a new garage door for us. We could not be happier with our new door! It insulates our garage much better and modernizes the look of our house. There was some confusion with getting the correct door, but the owner Stephen made sure we were taken care of and made it right. I will not hesitate using Stephen and his crew in the future.

Angi5I was stuck in my garage with a broken spring preventing me from lifting garage door. Genuine responded to call quickly, recognized that I needed to get the job quickly as my car was stuck in the garage, notified me when they were on the way, made the repair quickly and competently at a reasonable price and I was on my way. Yelp5My experience getting a new garage door with these guys was definitely 5 stars. I am very pleased with the whole experience, as well as the product. The door and supporting hardware are good quality (I got a vinyl two-car garage door with the lowest level of insulation, no windows, and standard hardware). I found a sticker on the edge of one of the sections that says "MADE IN USA" which is a really big deal for me. They should definitely advertise this fact. I'm a manufacturing engineer, so naturally I take a closer look at materials, hardware, and build quality than most consumers. Also, the sections have a lifetime warranty, which is comforting. I was also impressed with the attention to detail of the installation. The weather-stripping all around the door makes an excellent seal with no air gaps, and it really amazed me how warm it was inside my garage this morning (it was below 40 degrees last night). Granted, my gas furnace lives in the garage and gives off a little bit of heat when running, but I did not expect the new door to make this big of a difference! The install went very quickly, he hauled off my old door and hardware, and he cleaned up after himself very well. Honestly I couldn't be happier at this point with the product and the workmanship I received for this price-point. Speaking of price, they saved me a couple hundred dollars compared to some other options I looked at. I highly recommend this company! This was money very well spent!

Yelp5The owner answered his phone right away and scheduled for a service visit the next day. The day of, Mike arrived 30 minutes early (and called ahead to make sure that would be okay), which is possibly a first for me in dealing with a service company like this. Not only that but he was able to assess the situation within minutes and provide me with an easy-to-follow explanation and quote for the work that needed to be done. He was not pushy in the least, so, after a quick call to my husband, we agreed to have the work done, and Mike was able to knock it out right then and there. He was so fast, professional, and easy to work with. I will absolutely be calling them for any other garage service we need in the future. Highly recommend!

Angi5Great! Would definitely hire again. Mike was very knowledgeable. We bought Angie's List sale for a door tune-up, so the price was less than normal. Services Rendered: The door opener remotes were not working. The problem was fixed; the door rails were lubed, and tightened all nuts and bolts. Mike is really helpful.

Angi4He came early and quickly silent all squeaky sound. He also replace a broken metal piece which connects the rail and the opener, but we found later that the fix didn't align well and slightly skew to the left. I hope it won't break too soon... Angi5Very well. I have to make 'characters'??? Services Rendered: Double garage door in good condition made some noise. New rollers and some adjustments and now all door movements are very quiet and smooth. Great value.

Yelp5I had an emergency situation where my garage door wouldn't close and it was getting late in the evening. I called Genuine Garage Doors and the owner, Stephen Damico, came right away after 7 PM at night at the end of his work day after just getting home. I was very impressed with his work, price, and professionalism. A rare breed these days. The guy knows his stuff, gets the job done quickly and correctly, and seems honest as the day is long. His business card is now on my fridge and will be the first company I call should I ever have a problem with my garage door again.
