Outstanding company. Had them install a garage door opener last October and today they came out to replace the bottom seal on the garage door. They are always polite and efficient . Would highly recommended for all your garage door needs

I am writing a review for Larry Meyer himself because I believe in part, his success comes from being an excellent owner who treats the people who work for him better than any other garage door company around. He is family owned and operated and so he doesn't have to tack on a lot of money in order to pay for big overhead costs. Instead, he shows his appreciation for the people who work for him in the way of raises, continued education and year end generous bonuses. That's why he has techs who will go out of their way to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied. I should know, as I am married to a technician who has been in the field for 30+ years. I believe working for a man who after 50+ years is still in the office every day, making sure everything runs smooth, shows in his dedication to not only keeping his customers happy but his crew happy, too. That is why he is so successful as a company you can trust to get the job done.

I don't think I have ever written a google review in my entire life, but Larry Meyers just left my house and I HAD to come straight here - I wish I could give him 10 stars. I called Larry after receiving an estimate from another company for a $1,000 repair job. Larry quickly, respectfully, and professionally explained that, while the other company was honest, he could fix it in five minutes. He tweaked a few things, got the garage working good as new, and didn't charge me a dime. I can't imagine recommending or calling any other Garage Door company for the rest of my time in Portland. THANK YOU LARRY!

I can't thank you guys enough for coming out when you did to fix my garage door! My scummy predatory landlord decided to not properly communicate or let anyone know this wasn't going to get fixed in a timely manner. Luckily I called Larry Myers Garage Doors immediately sent out a rep who was going to help me get the door down and secured to be fixed at a later date. Well the rep arrived and he not only got the door down, but he fixed it to go back on the tracks, and also made proper adjustments to re-align the doors. I can't recommend or thank this business enough!

The service rep Brian was fantastic! He arrived early because he was ahead of schedule. This generally would have been met positively by me but I was unavailable until the booked times. He waited for 30 mins and treated me with kindness, friendliness, efficiency yet walked me through what he was doing and ways I can keep my garage door operating well between service visits. He adjusted my door until it was perfect. What an excellent representative to this company and because of that, I welcome them back to work/service my garage door and highly recommend to others!

This place is run like an old fashioned family business with humans who want to be helpful. The torsion spring on our garage door broke so I made an appointment to have it replaced the next day. Unfortunately, we found that the door was effectively locked shut. We needed to get the car out of the garage the next morning so I called back and talked to Becca about getting someone out sooner. She calmed me down and had Jody come by on his way back from his last assignment. Jody was friendly, professional, and efficient. He replaced the spring, tightened the nuts, lubricated the hinges and rollers, and reconnected the cables. After all that, he cleaned up his work area and left us in a cheerful mood. It was wonderful doing business with them. Services Rendered: Replace broken garage door torsion spring.

2nd time customer. They replaced a cable a couple years back. I was pleased with their efficiency and quick no nonsense service. Broken spring on Thursday night at 7pm. Got a call back at 830 Friday morning and my springs replaced and done by 1030am. With a 3 year warranty on the springs. EXCELLENT customer service and great prices! They have any and all of my garage door business forever.

My recent experience with Larry Myers Garage Door service was excellent. When I called with a garage door issue, my call was answered and the issue quickly and correctly diagnosed by Anikka as a broken spring. She also cautioned me about using the garage door until it was repaired. She was then able to immediately schedule an appointment for the following day and clearly confirmed the appointment details. Her communication and technical skills made it very easy to work with Larry Myers Garage Doors. The following day, ahead of schedule, Shawn arrived well-prepared for the service call. He concisely and clearly explained what he was going to do and then quickly replaced the broken spring and ensured that the garage door was working. Shawn is very experienced and knowledgeable about garage doors and knew exactly what he needed to do and was able to communicate in a non-technical way with me.. His service vehicle was well-stocked and he had the tools to complete the service call. While at the service call, I asked Shawn if he could install a remote keypad and he quoted a price and checked inventory and was able to quickly install it, making sure that it was set up and working and that I knew how it functioned. I highly recommend Larry Myers Garage Door Service...from the time you initially call until the service appointment is completed, the customer support and service work are excellent.

I needed a new exterior weatherstrip installed on my garage surround and the technician came out on a Saturday and got my opening sealed up before the rain started. The new weather strip fits perfectly and seals like new. The technician arrived right when the appointment was booked for and he got right to it. With fitting and adjustments, he was just 30 minutes for the service. We will definitely call Larry Myers Garage Doors when we are ready for a new garage door and will recommend to family and friends! BIG THANKS!!!

Highly recommend Larry Myers Garage Doors company. They originally installed our garage overhead double door in 2015...back then it was a great price and excellent work. Since then they have serviced the door. We had to call them this week as the door would not open. They came the same day that we called. Found the problem was the wall controller....they ordered the spare part and had it installed within 24hrs. Also only charged $75....great value and service.

Great. The service tech was on time if not a bit early. He explained to me why he recommended we replace both springs when only one was broken. He replaced the parts, oiled all the moving parts and then took the time to show me how to oil the parts when it was time to do it again. I appreciated him giving me the detailed instructions. Larry showed up on time and gave a detailed bid. He talked me out of the higher R value doors as they are not needed in this area. Told me they would be whisper quiet, and they are. The windows in them add just the right light. He knew what would look best on our home, and the installer did an awesome job. Everything went smooth - the technician arrived about 1.5 hours after I initially placed a call and was finished in about 45 minutes. He even adjusted the railing to to allow the wheels to move with less friction resulting in smoother opening and closing of the garage door. They scheduled quickly. They arrived timely. They told us that the door and the structure of the opener were fine and only needed to be lubricated. I wanted a new keypad which they had on the truck and swiftly installed. They reassured us nothing more was needed. They suggested recheck in 2-3 years just to be sure all was fine.
