I was contacted the next day from a query I put in Angie's List. I was told the price to be expected and what might be expected to cost extra. I was able to book an appointment within a day or two. The installer, Codi, notified me when to expect him. Hours before the expected time, he called to say he would be delayed a bit but explained why. He arrived before the new expected time. I had a very squeaky door that wouldn't always go up or down. He explained that it was past its expected life and offered, without trying to push it, that I could get a new spring that would extend the life of the system quite a bit without costing a lot more. He came back the next day and installed the new spring, oiled everything, put new sensors in, and serviced the motor. Beyond the cost of servicing and the spring, he then rehung the motor on new brackets and reconnected the motor to the wall button through existing wires in the walls that the original installers hadn't bothered to connect to and removed the old wires tacked on to the walls. To finish off, he explained the correct lubricant to use periodically and how to apply it in the easiest manner. He did all this in less time than the hour and a half he expected the job to take. Codi was personable and engaging and went above and beyond what was expected. My neighbor came by and was interested in a new automatic garage opener. I immediately recommended On Track to him.
