The doors were not installed properly and we are experiencing leaks. When contacted we were told it would be an additional $800 to correct. They have been rude and abrupt in all communications throughout this process except when it came to taking our 50% down payment.
To me, good customer service means communicating with your clients to provide updates, and quickly responding to texts or emails if only to say "I will check on it and get back to you". PGD never initiated communication to tell us status, often didn't respond to requests, and did not take any responsibility for communication issues. When I called them out for not keeping us informed, I heard "we have 100 clients, we can't keep everyone updated" or "it's our suppliers fault". When the delivery date came and went, they did not contact us to let us know what had happened, and when I contacted them and they finally responded it was with "we have no information". They were never apologetic, only defensive and rude, acting as if I was in the wrong for expecting information. I would not deal with them again. Given all the problems they claim they are having with their supplier, you would think that they would try to find another source instead of simply saying "we don't know and we can't find out". It took over 4 months to get the doors.
