Google5Garage Door Specialist did a repair for me about 5 years ago so when the torsion spring broke on my garage door they were my first call. I completed the contact form, received a response very quickly and got an appointment for the next day. The Technician arrived on time, replaced the spring and greased everything up. I was very pleased with this service and I felt the price was reasonable.

Google51/26/23 Yesterday, Alex from Garage Door Specialist came to diagnose why my door opener was not working. After fixing the problem, he proceeded to check numerous areas of the whole system to make sure everything was in good shape. This included lubricating springs and bolts. From his arrival to departure I was highly impressed with the technician, Alex. He clearly knew his business and willingly shared his knowledge so that I would know how the door worked and how to spot issues that might arise in the future. He even provided an easy maintenance tip. He did all of these things in a very down to earth manner and with a smile on his face. I highly recommend this company.

Google5tldr...Highly recommend Garage Door Specialist! From start to finish, the scheduling and service was a breeze. Very nice, courteous and highly efficient woman I dealt with on the phone to schedule a technician. Customer service reps are the first line of service with any company and speak volumes to what kind of service you'll receive, so this is just as big as the actual work performed, in my eyes. I do a lot of work around my house myself because I have more confidence in my ability to do most things than that I'd receive quality work and not be taken advantage of. Garage doors are out of my typical per view and I didn't have time to research. So, I opted for efficiency in this instance and I'm glad I made that decision! The tech, Tyler was prompt, very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to communicate with. We all know the weird serviceman that shows up from time to time, Tyler was NOT that. He was a respectful young man and I feel like he provided quality craftsmanship with the work he performed. He explained things very well, offered reasonable suggestions, was fast, and cleaned up when he finished. Cost was to be expected. You're not going to get your garage fixed for $50 here, but you'll definitely get what you pay for and I was happy to pay it. I don't typically write reviews but this company deserves it. While I hope my garage door doesn't have any further issues in the future, if it does, I'd 100% give them another call to come out. Thanks again to your team. Google5I sent an email concerning insulating my garage door. The young lady who responded was knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions in a series of email exchanges. I got a quote and the installer showed up. I got a text and a phone call that he was on the way. He was courteous and introduced himself. It was cold so we didn't chit chat. He got to work and a few hours later the work was done. He explained everything he did, made sure I saw their sticker and gave me a few tips to maintain my garage door. Based on the experience, I will use them for any future work on the garage door and will recommend them to friends and family. I probably should have taken photos before I pulled the car inside but you can that it is a nice clean job. Thanks Garage Door Specialist!

Yelp5Our garage door arm broke off the door. We called GDS and they were able to come out the next day. Tommy fixed the door, tightened the springs, and also serviced our other garage door as well to make sure it was in good shape. Appreciate how fast they came out and that Tommy was able to fix the broken door quickly and for a reasonable price. Overall happy with the service. Would recommend.

Google5I would like to give 2 thumbs up for the awesome employees that came on Monday and Wednesday. The one who came on Monday presented me with the company business card as soon as I opened the door which I loved . That showed that he was serious about his job and he was very knowledgeable and he answered all my questions. The one who came on Wednesday was very friendly and also knowledgeable and explained to me about what he had repaired and also left a sticker on the inside of the garage door in case I have any issues. More companies should have employees who are knowledgeable and helpful and also willing to communicate with the customer.

Yelp5I contacted the company mid morning for repair of my garage door. A technician was out before 2 PM the same afternoon. They were courteous, quick to respond and very easy to work with. Alex did great work, and I truly appreciated the service and fast response. It was an excellent value!

Yelp5Called this company after seeing their high ratings on Yelp. They certainly earn this reputation. Alex showed up very fast and quickly gave me an easy to understand quote. He was then able to install the new garage door openers the same day. Alex was very professional and did a wonderful job. Would recommend.

Google5Highly recommend Garage Door Specialists. My husband called up this morning and was able to get same day appointment. Travis came out repaired our garage door by replacing the broken spring. He is extremely polite & professional. Didn't take him long and had my garage door running smoothly. Thank you Travis for coming out and fixing my garage door.

Google5Having had Garage Door Specialist out to service my door in the past, they were one of three local companies I contacted for quotes on a high-lift garage door installation. The quote was very much in-line with others I received, and I could not be happier with the results. James and Craig were prompt, had great communication, and did their best to give me just what I wanted.

Yelp5I was recommended the Garage Door Specialists by a family friend for my garage door repair (spring replacement). They arrived the next day and were quick with email/phone correspondence. Jordi was my technician and he did a great job with the repair! I appreciated how he laid out all the costs ahead of time so I had full transparency before accepting the quote. He was on time and completed the job within the estimated time. Highly recommend him & GDS!

Yelp5My garage door opener stopped working and I made a couple of phone calls. Both calls went to VM. Luckily the cars were not in the garage and I could do more research on who to call next. When I called Garage Door Specialist, Stephanie, answered on the first ring. She told me Bob could come out in a couple of hours. I told her I liked the name Bob and she said he was their best tech and had been with them the longest. Bob called almost at the exact time Stephanie said he would be available. I have a one-word description for Bob - he is the Bomb. He knows exactly what he is doing and is extremely modest about how good he is. All of the garage doors and openers are from Overhead Door Co. and were hired by M/I Homes when the townhomes were built in 2008. I am convinced after speaking with Bob that the openers they used were worst than builder grade and the springs never were fitted correctly for the door. One person could barely open the door with the opener not engaged, after Bob did his magic and installed the correct springs you can use two fingers now to open the door. It will save wear and tear on the new LiftMaster opener that is WiFi and Bluetooth equipped. Opener light is LED and even has a camera. I am extremely pleased with the company and especially Bob. He did such good work I gave him one of my wife's award-winning cinnamon rolls.

Yelp5Tommy came out to repair my Genie 3024 Garage Door Opener. He diagnosed a broken spring which had been installed by another company just 6 mo previous. That spring burned out the motor in the Opener. I asked for a quote to replace a complete new system. I agreed to the replacement and had a new system within 2 hours with an in-depth explanation on it's operation, warranty, how to lubricant the door,etc. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied with Tommy and his company's response. Would definitely recommend them and would encourage you to request Tommy as your Serviceman.

Yelp5I found this company on Yelp and called based on their 61 excellent reviews. They live up to their five star rating. I called late in the day yesterday, when the motor for the garage door opener started smoking and the door would not stay closed. They scheduled me for the very next morning. The repair person, ALEX, was just superb. He was prompt, alerted me to his arrival time, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He installed a new unit, since mine was very old and parts no longer supported. There was no attempt whatsoever to upsell. He showed me how to work everything and programmed the remote into my car. Plus he was very polite and efficient. Years ago, I had a very bad experience with another local company (PDS are the initials). This company is the opposite, with free diagnosis and clear pricing. Plus a $25 discount for finding them on Yelp. While I am hoping this new unit outlives me, I would use this company again if I have any problems. I highly recommend you use this company too.
