Called them to get a quote on installing a new opener I purchased myself. They were super friendly and helpful with scheduling an install for this. As a matter of fact they installed my opener the next day! Awesome customer service, super happy with my opener. Thank you!

The spring broke on our 2car garage door this morning 12/23 at 9am. Called Overhead immediately and even though they were closing at noon due to the holiday, we were told they would do what they could to get to us today. Brett was there by 11:00 and replaced the spring so we coulduse our cars over Christmas. Great service Overhead!!

Unknown to me the torsion spring broke on my garage door overnight. I found it the next morning and I was not able to get the door open manually to get the car out. I called OH of Rdg. Answering service before they were open. There were two people ahead of me, but the job got done later the same day. They did a great job and I would use them again.

The process was quite long do to the support chain shortages, and the sales man explained this up front. They estimated 25 weeks, but the materials arrived early (about 20 weeks). They replaced 2 doors and 2 openers. The process was easy, the workers were. polite. professional and courteous. No mesh was left behind, came on time and finished up as they planned. I would rate this company as close as 100 of 100 as possible. Kudos to Bob and his excellent team.

Had a broken spring on garage door. Called 7 am to get price on repair. Would be able to fix in later morning. They arrived by 8:30 am job done by 10:30 am. Wow. Both tech's friendly, professional, nice and got the work done in a timely manner. Tech took time to lubricate all moving parts after work was finished. Will recommend to friends and family member's. Once again Thank you Overhead Door. Great job. 5 star's in my book.

Great experience! Scheduling the appointment was easy. The pricing, which was very reasonable, was explained over the phone. Patrick was professional, clean, prompt and did a great job. The employees are all very nice to speak with, whether it be on the phone or in person. Bret F. did a great job replacing our old door. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. So, having a garage is pretty awesome. Cars are protected from the elements and neighborhood baseballs/footballs/whatever. Problem is, they are used a few times every day coming in and out of the house and to work. My girlfriend went to work this morning, and the garage made a weird noise, but I thought nothing of it, as its also super windy today, and thought maybe something blew against the door. I went to run errands today and.... the door wouldn't open more than an inch or two. There was an Overhead Door sticker on the door, so I called them. The woman asked me what was wrong/what I noticed, and we decided it was probably the spring(just an FYI, if your spring is in two parts its broken), and she put me on hold and told me there was a guy in the area who was finishing up a job and then h'ed be over. I got a phone call about 20 minutes later, saying a guy would be at my location in 15 minutes. I met him outside, he gave me a price and I told him that would be fine. Fixed it in about 30 minutes or so, I paid and away he went. I noticed one review on here stating that he felt ripped off because he paid way more than the parts were . First of all, I googled the parts for my door, I know what it would cost. I then googled how to fix the spring. Every single site starts off with "this can be a very dangerous job, make sure you know what you're doing" , and in addition, there are some specific tools needed to fix the problem... so I really don't think the charge was too bad.

I just had a sliding grille gate installed by Overhead Door Company at my Smoke Shop in the Mall. I am very Satisfied by their service. First of all the staff is very friendly and professional. Very pleasant to deal with. They made sure all the paper work and insurance info was handed to my landlord before they came in. They came twice to do a location survey before installation. Returned all my calls on time and explained everything clearly. Came in for the job at the exact time promised. The job supervisor even called me an hour before showing up to confirm. They cleaned up after installation. They even trained me on the door functionality before leaving. Best yet, they beat the competitor's quote by $1000. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. The worker I had, (I apologize I don't remember his name) was professional and extremely polite. Thank you for the quick immediate response and somehow he made my new garage door look and work better than before. (It was replaced last year, so it's not because it was old it wasn't working well.) Overall this was a very good experience. Was able to obtain an estimate and schedule an install on my first call. Installer arrived right on time and quickly got to work. He even added custom bracket to reduce the stress that a garage door opener puts on the door, at no cost. Installer was very through in explaining details about the system and quick with clean up. Installers arrived exactly when promised. They removed the old garage door and opener and hauled them away. The new door and opener were installed. New door fits perfectly and is insulated so I can tell it is slightly warmer in the garage. The new opener works great. The work only took an hour or two (I wasn't home but my wife said they were done quickly). Services Rendered: Installed a new garage door and garage door opener.

1. The garage door opener could be fixed with new electronics but would cost as much as new opener. So I was going to buy 2 new ones. When I went to see how things were going, 2. I found the old weather strips off and holes being drilled into the bottom sections of my garage doors for the new weather strips. I was upset as this is not what I requested nor wanted. The installer was installing what she said was a U channel weather stripping because that is what her paperwork said. She called the service manager Dave Harms, and he would not indicate he made a mistake but rather put the blame on me as saying that is what I requested. I didn't even know there were different types of weather stripping let alone request a U Channel. I wanted what I had, it slides on the bottom for a clean and nice look vs screws and a black strip coming up 3 inches on the inside and outside of my doors. It now looks very bad and extremely old for a 10 year old but perfect looking home. Anyway, the service manager Dave harms is extremely unprofessional and actually hung up on me when I would not agree with his statement of this is what I wanted. I was upset for his actions and unprofessional conduct. He would never work for me with this attitude. I have called the corporate office in Reading PA (610) 929-8631 and spoke to Terry since the owner Bill was not in. She took the notes and said she would have the general manger David Stackhouse in the Folcroft PA facility where this was scheduled from to call me. ----- I''m still waiting. What needs to be done to resolve this issue is: Replace the bottom panel of each garage door so I have the original and clean look vs. now looking old with screws and black stripping showing on the outside from them not installing what I asked for and wanted. They obviously have issues with their employees and their customer care is to argue with the customer and not listen to what they want or will pay for. PS: I was never presented a bill, but good thing as I would not have paid. Services Rendered: Let it be known that Overhead Door of Reading also owns Overhead Door of Chester and Delaware Counties. This review is for their: 701 Ashland II Bay 1, Folcroft, PA 19032 , phone (610) 583-8522 location. I made an appointment through the service manager Dave Harms at the Folcroft location to have the following done: 1. adjust garage door opener since it was not closing all the way ( if it was to costly to repair or couldn't be, I would purchase 2 new openers, 1 for each garage door so they would be the same model and manufacturer, and the keyless entry would work for both. 2. the other service was to replace the weather stripping at the bottom of each door with exactly style I currently have.

They worked with me to ensure that the doors were installed at a time that was convenient for me. Services Rendered: Overhead doors replaced all four garage doors. They installed new doors, aligned the doors properly and made certain that all of the existing mechanical parts were working well.

Would use this service again in the future. My only complaint is that the repairman was here working about 1/2 hr and I thought the charge a bit excessive for the amount of time spent. Services Rendered: Our automatic garage door cable broke; we contacted this service and they had their repairman out within a few days. The work was done efficiently and well. He also checked both doors for mechanism defects.
