Late last week, I called Shank to install openers on two new garage doors for us. We are repeat customers - they installed the original opener in our old home 21 years ago, then a replacement door and opener when we upgraded there. I called Shank for some repairs on openers that another company installed at our current home, so it wasn't a question of which company to use - it was only which opener to choose. They got me on the schedule right away, and Joe arrived on time as scheduled. He completed the work in the timeframe he shared when he first arrived, and the openers work perfectly. Joe did a great job and I'm very happy with the work, and with Shank in general. Shank also stands behind their work if there is ever an issue.

My technician's name was Tim and he came out on short notice to replace the Garage Door Opener and springs on my garage door! He was very friendly and took the time to walk me through everything he was doing! I would highly recommend him and his company! Thanks for all your help!

We just received a service call from Shank Door Company and our Technician was Tim. Our call was promptly answered and our technician was on time, polite, very knowledgeable and completed the work efficiently and on time. I would recommend Shank Door and Tim the Technician again. Services Rendered: We had springs replaced for our garage door and then did purchase a new garage door opener.

I wanted to thank Tim, my technician, and Shank Door, for handling my garage door emergency repair. The springs broke and of course my car was stuck in the garage. I called Shank Door on Monday and they had Tim here on the same day. Tim gave me a call before arriving, giving me ample time to be available. He introduced himself in a friendly and professional manner. I explained the issue and he got to work. It took about 40 minutes or so, which is what Tim and those at Shank noted it would take. I do appreciate the advance notice of how long it would take so I could modify my schedule accordingly. When Tim was done, he explained to me what happened and how he went about repairing it. I do appreciate him taking the time to do that. Some people do not and just fix the issue. Not only did he fix the issue, but he double checked the entire setup and let me know of other minor things that needed to be taken care of and how he took care of it. Thank you to Tim and Shank Door for all your help!

Shank did an excellent job with our garage door repair. After we experienced a broken spring, they were able to come out and take care of the problem. Harold Hershey did an incredible job, was very efficient and professional throughout. You can't go wrong with a guy like Harold on your team!

Had my original door installed during our custom build! Unfortunately it was damaged during the continuation of construction. Had Tim come out to replace the damaged panel! Professional and friendly! Answered questions and got it replaced in time for me to get to work! Much appreciated! Looks great!

2 new garage doors, storm, and entry door. Seamless from order to installation. Ben Martin made sure the front door would be perfect 2 visits to measure. Tim was prompt and skilled. Tim Stauffer helped me choose the door style and colors and assured me the installers could correct an issue with the one entry to my garage - which indeed they did (involved some carpentry work and then cladding). No other company provided that service. Tim was laid back and not at all pushy and this is the type of sales rep I prefer working with. The installers, Justin H and Nolan B did a fabulous job with the installation. I could not be more pleased. I had a question about one of the doors and Justin returned in a couple of days and addressed the issue. My doors are beautiful - much nicer than expected. And working with Shank was a real pleasure. I recommend this company with enthusiasm.

The repairman recommended it would be more cost effective to replace rather than repair the opener because it was so old. Replacing the electronic board might fix the problem but might not. Services Rendered: My garage door opener was replaced.

I used Shank Door as part of a custom garage build. They were highly recommended by my general contractor. I had them install a total of 8 garage doors as part of my garage project. They installed three 8 foot Haas doors replacing two 16' doors on my existing garage, three 9 foot Haas doors on the upper level of the new garage, and two 18' roll up doors on the lower level. They also installed six side mount garage door openers on the upper level with wifi controls. They configured/installed the tracks to be high rise, keeping the doors up close to the ceiling to give me the most room possible when the doors were open. Everything looks fantastic and works smoothly. The staff was very knowledgeable and they take great pride in their work. Highly recommend.

Our experience was great. We got a quote from a different garage door place and Shanks was over a $1000 less for a pair of doors. The new doors are energy efficient, quiet and look great. We use them every time. We tried other companies, didn't like them. We got Shank and have been using them ever since. They are really good and reasonable. They are great. Services Rendered: They came to do upkeep and repair on the garage door. I think they were here in February. I think it was less than $200.

Friendly staff, competitive price, honored our $75 off coupon. When we scheduled our installation they said they put very busy for the fall season and would get to it within three weeks, however at fifth week we called and only then did they schedule installation. So they get one star off for scheduling. The garage door looks great and operates normally. We bought a steel door with foam insulation which will help save money over the long term.
