Google5Called them at 8:30am and my garage door was all fixed by 2pm! Super nice guys and a lot cheaper than I prepared myself for. Highly recommended!!

Google5When I was leaving my house this morning, my garage door broke down and I had to leave the garage door open, I called the American door little after 8am and told him the situation n he told me he will take care of it, around 9am someone called me saying the garage door is fixed. I have never seen such a quick response n repaired it nicely, I am so thankful to the American door company!

Yelp5Once again ACD has surpassed expectations!! Joe came out professional and courteous . Evaluated the situation and began repairs. My door basically fell apart this morning and by this afternoon it is fixed. Thanks Joe for your professionalism and help. You are an asset to this company. Thanks ACD for taking such good care of your customers!! I would not consider calling anyone else.

Yelp5I just purchased a new garage door from American Door after my door had broken and could not be opened. They showed up at the agreed time and gave me an estimate that I thought was fair, and then they were able to fit me in for installation later the same week. They were prompt and professional and completed the installation in less time than they had estimated. The new door looks and works great and is quite a bit quieter than my old door. I would not hesitate to recommend American Door or to use them again if needed.

Yelp5I would like to say these guys are awesome. They've installed new doors and openers on 3 homes (6 doors) over the last several years for me and recently had them come out to put new opener on door that was very difficult job. Google5Bill at American Door was very patient with my wife and I selecting a custom door for our home. He made helpful suggestions and we ended up with a beautiful insulated wood look door with hardware that gave our home a custom look and my wife smiles every time she approaches the garage. The install was professional and very fast. Quality product, professional service and a friendly team at American Door in Redding. Thanks Bill, Tim and Team!

Yelp1I can't review their work- because they didn't show up for the appointment to repair my broken garage door spring... and they didn't have the courtesy to call with any explanation - they just left me stranded in my garage. Yelp5These guys are not the cheapest in town but they know their stuff and get the job done right the first time. I've used them now two separate times and would highly recommend them for your garage door and garage door opener needs. A pleasure to work with and got me scheduled in for service very quickly too!

Google5I called these guys this afternoon and they were here in 15 minutes. Fixed both garage doors, fair price, and on their way in less than an hour. I highly recommend these guys to service your garage door.

Yelp4short notice call to fix a broke garage door tension spring. wow, had never seen or even heard of one of these failing. dan arranged for tech Aaron to stop by for a look see and repair. Aaron was professional, had the right parts and knew all the little secrets of winding a spring. there is actually a lot to know about swapping out a tension spring. who knew... suffice, very pleased and will be calling on aaron again soon to replace a near 20 yr old opener.

Google5I called American Door on Tuesday to get a quote on replacing my old one piece garage door and I spoke with Tim. I received a quick estimate for my door and he made sure he had one in stock and said the installer could come Thursday morning. His installer Johnathan was right on time and 2-1/2 hours later I had a great looking new garage door at a great price. American Door is a very professional company and I definitely would recommend.

Yelp1Buyer Beware!! I bought this garage door opener for my husband. He specifically wanted the MyQ so he can use his IPhone to open and close the door. We are not happy. The technician didn't know how to set up the MyQ and when we called the business, the guy working there didn't know either. The model he sold us was not WiFi included so now we have to buy an additional part to use our phones. My advice--buy from Sears.

Yelp5I called American Door in Redding, CA late yesterday with a non functioning garage door. Today, as promised, Dan Fuentes showed up and fixed the door. Two things were wrong - the carriage was stripped AND the previous repair job had been done with incorrect springs. The incorrect springs resulted in the worm gear and motor lifting way too much weight. New (correct) springs and a new carriage were installed and I was all set. Great service. Thanks, Dan. This took place in Redding not Long Beach my other address.

Google4I called American Door (AD) on Monday, they gave me an appt for Friday afternoon. The service tech called me a few minutes after 11:30 am and arrived before noon. I had requested a free estimate to repair our garage door...something got mixed up in the process and the tech thought it was an estimate for a new door...not a big deal. I explained the situation, showed the tech the issues I had found and he was set to get it fixed. I asked what the cost would be (expecting a $200 or better bill) and he said it was a $75 service call. I was more than happy at this point! He did the work quickly, efficiently, had a smile on his face, very friendly, polite and respectful. I am NOT an easy person to please, but this service call was exceptional for getting the job done and being a decent human being (hard to find these days). Give these guys a call if you need work on your garage door! Thank you AD for a very good experience! I gave 4 of 5 stars because I have worked in the service industry and there is always room for improvement...such as telling their tech the correct info. The service tech gets a 5 star. AD - Your tech was outstanding and deserves a raise. I do not recall the name, but the service was at 1130 Pineland Dr on August 18, 2017 at approx 12 pm.

Google5I called American Door to check on my 89 year old mom's malfunctioning door. The first trip out by them was prompt but didn't resolve the issue (which turned out to be replacement). When it was replaced they were fast to get it done, and worked fairly with her on the finances, so I did not need to make a trip out and necogiate anything. I appreciate that the unit installed is high quality and that my senior mom was not taken advantage of. Thank you!

Google5Ordered the garage door by phone, Dan was here when they said he would be, and even though the door wasn't the exact size (a little too large...but not their fault), Dan was able to install the door in a timely fashion and the door looks and works great. Very satisfied and would highly recommend them. Thanks!!
