Please note: My location states Truckee, however this repair was done in Reno. I knew my garage door needed a tune-up, kept putting it off until one day it would only close halfway; I called DGD the next morning (two weeks ago), they gave me a window of two hours the following morning, DJ arrived on time and quickly fixed the non-closing problem, reset the optical "eyes," tightened loose screws in the rails, and installed a replacement weatherseal. Contrary to the concerns of being over-sold, I thought I needed a weatherseal on the second, smaller door we rarely use, but DJ showed us that was not necessary. DJ was very presentable, knowledgeable and pleasant, and the cost of the service was a little less than I had anticipated. We highly recommend Discount Garage Doors.

Super fast, responsive and professional. I had them instal a garage door last year and yesterday it did not work. I called up to see if there was a warranty on the motor (I thought it had failed) and they sent their guy over right away! I have to say that I am embarrassed to admit this but when he inspected the unit he found out it was an electrical issue with the circuit board in the garage, not the unit they installed.He went out of his way to come to my house when they did not need to, he went out of his way to figure out what the issue was and gave me some electrician contacts! If I only had more garage doors, I'd for sure hire them for all of them. Honestly, I've had some recent struggles with bad service from some companies but this company get's an A++++++++++ and restored my faith in great service. Again, thanks for going out of your way and I apologize for not checking the electrical first.

I literally had a quote from 10 companies throughout Reno/Sparks. Over 2k to replace a one car garage door plus the opener. I only paid a little over 1k with this company! Johnny and his assistant arrived on time with the new door and completed the first part of the installation in about 2 hours, but while unpacking the door for installation identified that one of the panels had a small dent from the manufacturing process - they reordered and once the replacement panel arrived another individual delivered and installed it in about 45 minutes and re-adjusted the opener so all worked smothly. All in all it was a great job done well! Services Rendered: Replace a large insulated 8x16'garage door that was broken and bent due to wind and identified why the existing door broke. They identified the problem and made sure the new door would be reinforced in the area previously broken.
