AMAZING! Went out of their way to help me when a spring on my door broke right before a holiday weekend. Called and let them know what I needed and they had it ready to go when I got to the office 5 minutes after calling. Will refer them to everyone!
Tthis company is off the charts. From the beginning of my first call until the installation of my broken spring, It was a great experience. Everyone is so nice and they have that personal touch. Don't do business with this company. Chris, the owner, is unethical and does not stand behind his work. The company installed at my residence in 2021 a new QMI rolling shutter at a cost of $3,872. The product they installed failed to operate the first day after it was installed. Chris came back a couple of times after that and attempted to fix the problem by applying grease to the rails of the shutter, but each time after the grease was applied, the rolling shutter would eventually lock-up again and fail to operate. The rolling shutter has not worked for many months and Chris at Nevada Overhead Door says he is too busy to work on the problem and recommends I find somebody else to deal with the problem. So, I contacted QMI, the manufacturer of the rolling shutter. After discussing the problem with QMI, I was told the shutter Nevada Overhead Door sold to me was not designed to work in the location where it was installed at my residence. So here's the bottom line, I was cheated out of approximately $4,000 by Nevada Overhead Door, and they seem perfectly fine with that outcome. Don't let them do that to you.
The tech showed up on time. Fixed our garage door! Two other companies looked at it and weren't able to fix it. Thank you Nevada overhead door. Highly recommend

When someone breaks the glass on your garage door, who do you turn to? The folks that installed it when the home was built of course! Who else would know exactly what is needed? I spoke with Dani on the phone and in a few minutes she knew exactly which model door I had and which glass I needed. Fortunately, the door panel wasn't damaged and only the glass needed replacing. It was a simple repair with about 8 screws and remove the trim to replace. The only downside was the glass wasn't available and had to be ordered, but better to do it right once than twice. Recommended vendor for all your garage door needs.
Tech Lee arrived on time, did the work fast and did it well! He was personable and didn't leave a mess. He also stapled some loose wire left from the original installation, so it wasn't in the way, and adjusted the sensors to a better location. He also suggested to lube the springs a few times a year, along with bearings - that totally makes sense. This is my 2nd time using this company and I recommend them again, highly!
I did one of those Yelp Quote Request and Nevada Overhead was the quickest to reply and scheduled me immediately in the same week. Steve the technician was nice and explained to me a lot of things that he was doing while he serviced my parent's garage doors and possibly even saved me a few bucks for unnecessary work. I look forward to him servicing my garage later this week.
If I could I would give them a "10". I called this morning when the chain on our garage door opener snapped. They said they could come out Tuesday (5 days). I explained that my husband is disabled and to get him outside to the car would be difficult. The scheduler asked me to hold and next thing I knew she said they would be right out. Within a 1/2 hr they were there and had the gear box assembly changed within 20 minutes. So impressed and thankful for their care and concern for us. I highly recommend them. Professional, punctual, and so polite. Thank you, faithful new customer. A grateful retired Toscana resident, who also appreciates the senior discount they gave us on top of the excellent service.
Nevada Overhead Door Co. is, in my opinion, one of the best in Reno. They installed my new door some years back and have been servicing it ever since. Great customer service, good technicians and fair pricing. Over the years I have liked everyone who has come to the house. Lee was the technician who serviced my door, and he upated me, when he would arrive. He explained to me that the original door installation with operator was not done correctly. The opener put too much stress on the door, and that is why the panel cracked. He reinforced the panel and also did the same on the other garage door. He inspected and lubricated both doors. Now the squeeks are gone, and the doors are working great. Services Rendered: I had a cracked panel in my roll-up garage door.
I just could not be happier with Nv. Overhead doors this afternoon. I called at 3:00 pm with kind of an emergency call. the spring broke on our garage door and we could not (for anything) get the dang door open, I needed to get my car out. I was so thrilled when they said they would send some one out in about half an hour. He had just returned and they sent him out to my house in Sparks. And sure enough "RED" the repaire man was at my house and opened the door and I drove my car out. THRILLED!!.And with in half an hour the spring was repaired and the door was all lubbed up. And more to my surprise I got the Senior discount, for the repairs Thanks so much to Nevada Overhead doors. You saved my day...
I had such a great experience with this company. Chris personally came out and measured my doors. He was so patient while I went back and forth on door color, type, and style. I ended up choosing carriage style steel front and back doors and I love them. The installers did an incredible job with my old crooked house. The doors look perfect, the new tracks are done so clean and straight. The new motor is so quiet and smooth. The guys went above and beyond to make sure my new doors were mounted just right, and the weather stripping was done so clean and straight. I highly recommend this company, it was such a pleasant experience dealing with them from start to finish.
I had been a customer of these people for over 15 years. They installed and serviced my doors over that period of time. I was in desperate need of a door repair after a recent storm. I called them for that purpose and discovered very quickly they had no concern for me. I was transferred to some guy who said he would call me back to fit me into their schedule. I have yet to hear back from this guy. When I called back the next day "Nikki" the phone answerer didn't even remember our prior days conversation. I reminded her that I had been a customer for over 15 years. It made no difference. She could have cared less. Just another mellienial waiting for her paycheck. I then called Overhead Door and what a difference in treatment. They came out the same day I called and fixed my door at a reasonable cost. They are now my garage door people. I strongly refer them for anybody in need.

Installed one double and two single overhead electric garages when we built our house in 2001. Installation was on time and perfect. The and quot;lookand quot; of the garages made the whole house look nicer when the installation was complete. Provider has been back twice, one in 2004 and once in 2005 for minor repairs (weather strip) Garages have worked perfectly since - going on 14 yrs now They are always on time, neat, respectful and professional. I called Monday morning to have the garage door springs that had broken the day before replaced. I was given an appointment time of 3 pm. The technician showed at 2:45. He worked quickly. He answered my questions and lubricated the door. Very professional, quick and neat. This company installed the garage door opener for me 2 years ago. I will call them again in the future. Services Rendered: Replaced garage door springs.
Completely on schedule and as quoted. Still using the original doors. Services Rendered: Used them to install three electric garage door when built house in 2001. They did an excellent job. Came back for a minor repair, don't remember exactly when, perhaps six years ago or seven.
see above--we were quite pleased with her service. She had made 2-service calls for my sister- in-law in reno and they were very pleased with the service both times. Services Rendered: Called them based on recommendation from sister-in-law to fix broken spring on my 2-car garage door at 8am. Technician-Kim Smith was at our house at 10 am and finished the repairs in less than 45 min--including straightening the track on one side which really reduced the noise. Also included adjusting tension on the other single bay door, and if you can believe it she even helped me repair my step-ladder. Chris in the office had told me that the flat rate for replacing broken spring on 2-car door would be $175--so I had no worries about the bill---and it was $175.
