When my torsion spring broke MT Hope came out quickly the next day to address the issue. They replaced the springs on both of my doors and lubricated everything well. Doors are working like they are brand new and it was all done at a great price!

My garage door opener recently died after 15 years so I hired Mt Hope Garage door and Chris was able to come the very next day. He installed a new Liftmaster that works way smoother and quieter than my old one plus it comes with a great phone app allowing mw to open and close the garage door remotely. Chris is a super friendly guy and a pleasure to work with. He also had the best price around. It is win win. I highly recommend Mt Hope Garage Door.

I could not be happier with Chris and his company, Mt. Hope Garage. I had a garage door buckle due to water from poor street drainage being pushed up against my old door. Chris had a new, stronger one installed within 2 weeks of my call. Worth every penny!

Chris came to my home this morning less than 2 hours after my call. I had rammed into the garage door inadvertently as it was opening, and it was very damaged. Chris advised that he could repair it but that it might be temporary, like a band-aid. However, it looked so good that I cancelled the second estimate individual who could not come until the next day. Chris worked on that door like it was his own. I felt a great deal of confidence in his work and attitude. For sure, I will call Mt. Hope Garage Door when and if a new door becomes necessary. For sure! Chris also provided an estimate should I have to get a new door. He said he could match up the door pretty closely so that I would not have to get a door for the other side of the garage, but to then decide whether or not to go for that door as well if the match did not meet my needs.

The heading for this company is "The Company you can Trust!" Thats laughable. I called Chris because my garage door wasn't closing. It would take several attempts via the remote or wall switch to close the door. It would begin to close then would open again, very frustrating. So Chris quickly came out to check out the problem. He walked into my garage and looked that the opener and said, "What year was this house built?" I replied, 2006. So he responded, "Your board is fried. These openers only last about 15 years. To replace the board is only a couple hundred dollars less than a new opener. So I would recommend replacing the whole thing that way you have a brand new unit." Sounded reasonable enough and made sense, I supposed. Chris said to have a new belt driven unit with 2 remotes and a outdoor pad with install was $625 and could be installed today. Wow, okay I said let me check with the wife and ill get back to you. I went online and saw the same/similar unit(s) he wanted to sell me came all together in a kit. The belt driven opener, key pad, 2 remotes etc. for $279. $279! I said shoot, for that price ill install it myself and save over $300. But wait, it gets better. I thought to myself, I should call someone else and get a second opinion, just in case. So I called a garage door company out of Westport, D&D Overhead Garage Doors. They came out the following day and I explained everything to him. He said okay and he bent down to look at the sensor/eye that shoots across the door and he slid it over an inch, inch and a half and told me to try closing the door. And guess what? Its worked perfectly since and he didn't even charge me! It literally took him longer to drive down my driveway than to fix the problem. The story keeps going, stick with me. So I shook this techs hand and thanked him a million times and he graciously smiled and appreciated it. I told him that Chris at Mt Hope Door was going to charge me $625 for a new opener and everything else. He busted out laughing and said "HOW MUCH?!" I reaffirmed the $625 and he said "I can install the same opener for you for $400." $400! Mt Hope Door wanted $625! I get paying for labor but thats ridiculous! Either way, the moral of the story is, I will never recommend Mt Hope Door or Chris to anyone. He's out there trying to rip people off and pay for his fancy new F350 dually. The funny thing is, if Chris would've gave me a reasonable price to install the opener I wouldn't have thought twice or called someone else. But he wanted to be greedy and take advantage of someone so now he gets zero business from me or my associates. Services Rendered: My garage door wasn't closing, had him come out to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate.

My garage door froze and broke, windows cracked. I called 2 well known companies. They couldn't get me a new door for 6 to 8 weeks! My husband went online and we called Chris at Mt Hope Garage Door. He came out in a few days and the door was installed within 24 hours. Chris was just the best from start to finish. If I could give 10 stars I would. We are so happy with the new door and Chris is just a great guy. I will call him from now on if I need any help. I feel so lucky that we found him. Thanks so much Chris!

Chris, the owner of Mt. Hope Garage, called me back promptly, came at the scheduled time (actually a little early) and gave me a very good quote to replace my garage door opener. He was able to do the job right then and there, which was very convenient for me. He answered all my questions and I paid him by check. At my request he e-mailed me an invoice/receipt by e-mail for my records the next morning. He charged $400 for a 1/2 horsepower chain drive Liftmaster garage door opener, which was reasonable. (I had googled the price of replacing a garage door opener, and his price was on the low side of the average range). Chris also set up my remote control clicker to also open my wife's garage door as well as mine, which was a nice plus. Chris was pleasant and had a laid back manner. I'd recommend him to anyone needing work done on their garage doors. Services Rendered: Replace malfunctioning, 20 year old garage door opener.

Owner//Operator Chris Annani was extremely prompt, responsive, efficient and professional. He did his absolute best to repair my existing 24 year old garage door opener within a couple of days of my initial call (attempting to save us quite a bit of money, and had to order a part first to see if that would work), and when that didn't work, due to the irreparable condition of the aged door opener, he had to purchase and install a new system. If Chris didn't have to wait for the part to see if he could repair it first, and again, trying his best to save us some money, there is no doubt in my mind that he would've had the system replaced even sooner. All of this was done within a few days of my first call to him, and then he uninstalled the old system and installed the new one in less than 1.5 hours. Chris did a fantastic job, and the new garage door opener works great. I consider Chris to be a true professional in his field, extremely fair in his pricing, and just an all around good guy. I would highly recommend his services to anyone! Services Rendered: Replaced an automatic garage door opener.
