Our technician was Ethan Chenault. Ethan was on time, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the products and what needed to be done. He made the necessary repair/replacements to our older garage door system and added a few new features. It is almost like having a brand new door! I appreciate the added security of receiving a photo and a little information about Ethan prior to his arrival. I would definitely recommend Ethan and A-1 garage door company.

A1 Door Company is extremely easy to do business with. I was able to set an appointment for the next day, and their technician, Bill Rodd, was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He had my issues diagnosed within minutes of arriving. I got a whole new upgraded door opener along with almost all hardware replaced for a great price, and the work was completed same day. Very happy customer!

The service and care we received from Bill Rodd and Ethan Sanchez with A1 Garage Doors is second to none. They were immediately responsive when we called and said the garage door wasn't working - and we had an appointment within 24 hours. They were earlier than their scheduled time- they called and texted to ensure it was a good time and that we would be aware they were en route. They arrived and were so incredibly friendly. They listened patiently - and completed their assessment. They provided three options as possible routes to choose for repair. They were honest and maintained a no pressure atmosphere if attempting to upswell. They took time to thoroughly explain the options and reviewed it again when I had more questions. I selected the option that worked best for us to repair the door and expected the need to schedule a time for them to return to complete the job. They replied they would be repairing it today. Our new equipment is top of the line from what we had before. I am 100% satisfied with their work and will only use them again in the future if needed. I cannot recommend them highly enough- you will not be disappointed. They took time to review our new system and explain any necessary maintenance. Thank you to Bill and Ethan for being the best at what you do and for ensuring a top notch experience.

Had the garage door spring snap of Friday night. I put in a request via the website, and had an email promptly on Monday morning. Bill and Ethan were on site Tuesday, quoted the repair in about five minutes and had the job done in less than an hour, all in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.

The spring broke on my double wide residential garage door. It was too big to raise manually. I contacted A1 Door Co. and they worked with me to send a technician within a very few hours. Ethan Sanchez was very professional, knowledgeable and very service oriented. He was able to fix the door in less than 45 minutes. He also took the time to inspect the door functions and educate me on routine maintenance issues. I would highly recommend this company.

My garage door broke, would not go up so I called several vendors when A1 Door was refered on Next Door. I called them after noon and spoke to Megan. She was able to arrange for a tech to come by today. Jason showed up inspected the issue and went straight to work. Incredible technical ability and made quick work for a coversion for my door to traditional spring setup. The work was fairly priced and done quickly. I can still barely believe we are back in operation in such a short time. A1 does A1 work and provides A1 customer service. For Megan, I am definitely smiling tonight. Thanx

Every single staff member I spoke to was helpful and pleasant to talk to, specially the actual repairman. Extremely satisfied with the service. I called other services before A-1 around my area and they didn't service my area although they were located 4-6 miles away from my house. I called to schedule an appointment to change my current garage opener (chain) to a new garage opener (belt) after a previous company fell through. They were available to install the next day. The day of the appointment, they called to let me know they had an earlier opening if that would work for me. While it did not, I appreciated how they reached out to ask. The installation itself was quick and painless. Our tech was very knowledgeable and personable. He did a fantastic job. He even reprogrammed our old remotes to work with the new opener. Would highly recommend.

Update I was very impressed that the owner contacted me to apologize for what happened and I got the impression that he will take steps to prevent something like this from happening in the future. I got a full refund in the mail. Perhaps this was an isolated incident. Incompetent and dishonest The service people that arrived didn't bother to check the garage door before they started working on it and the door stopped working again a few days later. We were told that it was "probably" the spring which is the one obscure thing that our home warranty doesn't cover and if they were to come out again that they would charge us again. We called Garage Door Geeks who fixed it the first time, the same day, for cheaper. The problem was actually faulty wire not the spring.

Updated: Ryan Grant (CEO) reached out to me and made this right. That's all I can ask for. I chose this company based on the good reviews. (Good service, fair, etc) I do not agree with them however. Turns out someone had simply kicked the sensor and caused my door's electronic eye to be out of alignment. This means there was absolutely nothing to fix other than to kick the sensor back into place. I understand that I still have to pay the visit charge for my own stupidity, but then the technicians said they were going to "do a quick check up" on my door before they left. Well, somehow that checkup added $10 to my visit charge without informing me. Then the technicians talked to me like I was a child on how to avoid these charges in the future if I simply had kicked the sensor into place on my own, because he doesn't like to rip people off! Too bad it doesn't stop him from doing exactly that! I know it's only $10, but 1) their $99/hour rate is higher than most and 2) The $10 to "lube" the door that was working fine WITHOUT DISCLOSURE ahead of time is unacceptable. The office backed him up and didn't care that I was upset either. They can take my money this time and I'll do my homework better when I need someone in the future. Buyer beware. They are a business that will get the job done just fine, but don't expect good customer service to be part of the experience. They just lost a customer over $10.

Called 3 companies-including the company that installed the door. All but A1 refused to come evaluate the door to quote a price for repair. Juston from A1 came early fixed the problem quickly and from what I can see appropriately. Cost of repair was very reasonable. Thank you! It was excellent. I called last week to inquire about someone coming out to my home to provide an estimate of what's wrong with the openers. The estimate was fast and free. The problem was diagnosed. Stephanie, who handles the in-house phones was awesome. She was very polite and courteous and knowledgeable about the business. Mike was dispatched out to my home and because I wasn't able to be home, he went there anyway. He called me and told me what was wrong, quoted me a price to replace the openers and even recommended an electrician to fix one problem. I scheduled with Stephanie on 1-13 and the openers were installed on 1-14. They even cleaned up all the junk. The overall experience was phenomenal. I'm big on customer service and follow through and A-1 Door Company exceeds in all these areas. Once I got home and saw the job completed with 100% satisfaction, I called in payment. Seamless from start to finish! I highly recommend them for any garage needs. I will definitely have this crew in my phone book for any problems related to my garage!
