We received our door within a reasonable time and love it! The entire process (from selecting the door in the showroom to meeting with the salesman at our home to talking with the installation guy as he installed our door) went smoothly. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient in their jobs.

Apple Door representative was continuously communicating with me regarding my appointment and the timeframe of the installation. The installer did a great job with the installation. The door is insulated, and it looks great and operates well. I will continue to use Apple Door as my premium garage servicer.

The technician came on time, did excellent work on installing the door strip, lubricated all moving joints, made sure the door was functioning efficiently and cleaned up afterwords. Price was much cheaper than I expected and definitely cheaper than what Mr. Handyman wanted to charge...upwards of $250. Thanks for keeping it honest! I will definitely contact you if I need future services.

I'm in the wrong business. Big $$ for basically giving the system the once over with an eyeball, maybe he spent 10 mins actually in the garage. How hard is it to show up during the time frame originally quoted being the first service call? 20 mins late (apparently I didn't get the message that my time isn't important), texting while at the house (put your phone away!), sitting in truck taking another 5-10 mins writing the service order, which claimed work that we didn't see him do. Over the years we have had good and bad experiences with service/techs/admin from Apple Door, but now I'm definitely done. I had been hopeful that they had gotten over problems/attitudes however we're disappointed again. Not expecting the world, just do your job and stop taking advantage of people.

Caleb and Dallas (DJ) performed our annual Gold Star garage door service check this morning. We appreciated that they were on time for our appointment, and performed their usual complete and thorough maintenance check. They also took the time to educate us on unique quality and integrity of the particular garage door we have, as well as giving us tips on performing routine lubrication of the weather stripping around the door to prevent the door from sticking when we open it the first time each day. We are so impressed with their sincere and friendly attitudes that gives us so much confidence that Apple Door has our best interests in mind every time they make a service call.

I recently had an awning installed on my deck by Apple Door, and I couldn't have been more impressed. The entire process was easy, from the initial consultation through the scheduling and installation. The consultant arrived right on time for the initial product selection and they were very knowledgeable about awnings. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and helped me choose the perfect awning for my needs. Scheduling the installation was also a breeze. The company was very flexible and was able to schedule the installation for a date that worked for me. The workers arrived right on time on the day of the installation, and they completed the job within the scheduled time. I was particularly impressed with the cleanup. The workers left my deck spotless, and you couldn't have told that they had just done any work except for the fantastic awning that now covers my deck. I highly recommend Apple Door for awning installation. They are a professional and reliable company, and they do excellent work.

Fantastic company! My garage door spring broke without warning and made it impossible to get in and out. Bad timing because we had remodeling going on at our house and workers needed to get in and out. Called Apple Door and SAME DAY, they had friendly and knowledgeable tech there who fixed the door within an hour. Simply great customer service. Highly recommend!

Not only did the technician repair my problem with the chain stop, he also oiled all my metal connectors so the door didn't make a loud noise any more. I will never use any other company to repair my roll-up garage door. Apple Door is the absolute best!

They guys were great. They took time to explain what they were doing throughout the process. Went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. I love my new garage door and entry doors they installed. The entire process was extremely easy.

Apple Door Systems did everything they promised and More. Great customer service to a great technician (Eric.....extremely knowledgeable, polite and personable). I would definitely recommend Apple Door to anyone that is in need of a garage door, garage door opener or just maintenance on the existing door.

Had Mallory come out for a quote. Weeks later I called him and he said they were quite busy and he would try to have a technician look at project after I had the utility lines marked. Pretty frustrating process.

My neighbors and I have used Apple Door in the past and always got good service at a reasonable price. Last week the torsion spring broke on the door Apple installed. Submitted a service request, was called by Apple to set up service call the next week. They offered emergency service, but since we have another car, didn't feel it was necessary. 9/15/20 - The technician arrived at the time agreed upon. However, he didn't have the spring needed and would have to make it and come back another day. Here is where they get the one star, he said he needed to collect $125, which $50 would be credited back to me when they come back and I would still pay $259 (original price quoted when setting up appointment). I called the office, spoke to April (manager), who stated I would be responsible for $125 tech visit and $259 when they come back. April was not willing to waive $125, even though I was never told about this additional charge. I can no longer recommend Apple Door. There are other companies that give you an up front price and not try to add to it.

We have used Apple Door in the past and was pleased with their service. When our garage door didn't open, I called and they were at our house within the same hour. The spring on the garage door broke and needed replacing. The repairman noticed that the door was cracked at the top and advised me that we either needed to replace the top and middle panel or needed an entire new door. After he repaired the door, it opened, but would not completely open, secondary to door being broke. I paid $250 for spring repair and was advised someone would call me to set up a quote for a new garage door. When I scheduled the appointment for a quote for a new door, I inquired if we needed a new door, why did we just pay $250. They advised me that if I in fact needed a new door, we would receive a credit. When I received the quote, I inquired about the credit, and was told it was $100. So we basically paid $250 for a new spring, and literally 1 week later have to purchase an entire new garage door, which includes a spring. Not happy that we just wasted $250 for a spring, when we should have been told from the beginning not to replace it and to just replace the new door. I called Precision Door, who quoted us $200 less. Even if they were the same price, I still would have went with them, as we wasted $250 on a spring for no reason. Will do more research next time before making another repair call.

There was a delay in the door panel that was delivered (three weeks late) and there was an error in the beading on the door that was delivered, so it didn't match the existing door. We are putting our house on the market and the delay has put us under a massive time crunch and impacted the other work, due to lining up a painter. I received two conflicting stories for the delay--first was that the door panel was lost in transit from the supplier and then that the supplier sent the wrong item (which was it Apple? Can't even get your story straight). Then to top it off they wouldn't give us a break on the final payment as an attempt to meet us half way for the inconvenience caused. Terrible company--the fact that their vendor screwed up is not my problem--it's yours. Apple you need to own it. I would't recommend anyone to use them based on the experience we received. The leadership have no sense of customer service....very amateur leadership. That said, I was pleased with the installers. Sadly they work for a sub-standard company.

We meet with the salesmen in April about installing two storm doors at our 1923 home. With help from the salesmen two upper end doors where selected and we paid 50% of the amount due and the doors were ordered. A month later the doors arrived and Apple Doors scheduled an installation. The installation of the rear door goes as planned but here we are 6 months later and the front door is still not finished. There have been 4 different installation teams out and the front door has been hung twice. As a result nothing aligns and there has been damage to the door jam and outside trim. Apple Doors is sending out another tech for the 5th time - we have been patient a. I'm sure if everything went as planned we would have been happy but that was not our path. But that's not the reason for the poor review - Apple Door has handled this issue unprofessionally which is unacceptable. And when we attempted to share our experience with the owner it fell on deaf ears. Lesson learned - never again with Apple Doors.

In March 2019, I submitted a free quote request on their website and very quickly someone emailed me to set up an appointment. To speed things up, I ended up calling the office to make the appointment. I followed up via email with the original person that reached out to let him know I made the appointment and when it was since the main office gave him the appointment. No one showed to that appointment. I then called the office after about 30 mins and they that someone must not have put it on the appointment calendar. Hard to believe when I called and sent them my own confirmation. They then rescheduled me with the same employee for later in the week. For the second appointment, once again, no one showed up. No one ever called me to explain or apologize. I took off work twice and had had enough. This is a very large job and worth a lot of money so I am more than shocked that no one showed up...TWICE. Very frustrating. Services Rendered: Replace all exterior doors (5!) and garage door.

My garage doors were just sad and old, so I called Apple Door after two other places had failed to return my call. They were prompt, did the job correctly, reasonably priced, and when something needed tweaking after the install, they returned and made it right. This is the place to call for doors. Hands down the best experience. I used Melanie Brothers before, and the product was fine the install and service was awful. The difference was night and day. Thank God there are still some honest, and hard working folks out there to help those of us who are not all that handy with tools.

We recently replaced a broken garage door with an insulated garage door through Apple Door Systems. The gentlemen who came out to give us a quote was really helpful according to my wife. We agreed on the service and scheduled a time for install. The day came and the gentleman showed up right on time. Originally we were quoted 4-5 hours for install, but the gentleman did it in 2 hours. My wife was happy with the way things looked and the garage door was working much better than the broken one we had fixed. It was also much quieter opening and closing. When I got home I got to see it in action and things appeared OK. The next day I got home and I noticed something odd. I looked up and one of the brackets that hold the door opener motor was not connected! I got up on a ladder and I saw the bolt was disconnected and the nut was sitting on top of the motor. I reconnected things but I question what else was missed during the quick install.

Our garage door failed after only 14 months...had to have emergency service on the weekend and spent $200 to have repaired. Called owner to ask for some consideration regarding this repair. He would not work with me on it. I was prepared to purchase an annual service agreement for the next twenty to twenty-five years (app $100 per year). But he would not work with me. That's probably $2000-2500 worth service fees, versus $200...not good business. Services Rendered: Garage door repair

They came as scheduled and replaced the rollers which were missing, installed new openers, and new safety interrupt lights. They also replaced the exterior keypad. The technician came on time and was very efficient. He cleaned up the garage thoroughly when finished and set up the four keypads for all three doors. He also assisted in setting the code for the exterior key pad. All in all a painless experience. The new doors are virtually silent when running and we are quite pleased. Services Rendered: We bought an older home with three garage doors which were installed pre safety requirements and had no safety interrupt features. The salesman came to my home and explained the various options available. There was no push to purchase the most expensive / gadget laden products. We opted to go with tapes for their quietness and simple controls, new rollers on the doors, new motors and the most important safety interrupt lights.

When the two gentlemen arrived, they looked over my door and lift system. After their investigation they concluded that something was wrong but they were not sure what the problem was. They replaced my wall control unit with a doorbell button so the door could be opened and closed from the push of that button. I have a Chamberlain liftmaster 8500 due to low ceiling clearance. This unit requires a specific wall control button to fully function with remotes. They left after explaining they would need to order a circuit board and a wall control unit. Furthermore, they didn't know what the problem was so they wanted to replace both components to make sure the problem was with one of those pieces. I took a day off of work so they could tell me what I told them on the phone with my initial request for service. They came out and had no intention of fixing the unit as they had nothing to fix it with. I'm happy I took a day off of work for that. They later called and wanted to charge me $485 to replace a circuit board and wall button. I can buy a circuit board for $95 and a wall button specific to my unit for $40. The circuit board can be replaced with a couple of screws and plugging in the wires. I understand they have expenses and overhead. My problem is with the way the service was handled. I took a day off to have them fix it not to come tell me they need to order parts and come back to figure out what the problem is. I can order parts and replace them to see what the problem is myself without taking two days off from work. One for them to see what type of unit I have ( which I told them explicitly on the phone) and another for them to come back to try different parts. The final bill was $96.80 to connect two wires to a door bell type button that does not allow my remotes to work and is not the unit needed for my door control system. I fixed the door myself without taking more time off of work. I was even called a week later and told I was suppose to pay my bill at the time of service. The men who came to my house told me to not pay anything that day and gave me paperwork showing $0 due. The lady on the phone told me she was sorry for my misunderstanding of when payment was due. I explained that there was no misunderstanding and I would pay the bill in a timely manner from the point I received it. Prepare to have two days available to get work done. One for a consultation and one to fix the problem, even if you tell them what the problem is. Services Rendered: Garage door remotes were not functioning and wall control button was not responding either. Upon calling to request service, I provided the exact make, model and series of door opener. I thoroughly explained the issue and how the mechanical function of the door and lift were working smoothly. Further explaining it was a circuitry or sensor issue.

After receiving 3 estimates for 2 single garage doors to be replaced on our 1960s brick garage, we opted to try Apple Door Systems. The main reason we chose Apple was that Apple offered a cheaper version of a nicely styled door. We were able to purchase the stamped carriage style in a more economical version than we were offered by the two other companies. Of course, Apple also carries higher quality doors, but in our case, we were looking to update the house without breaking the bank. Apple's salesman was knowledgeable, thorough and low pressure. He arrived at the house with samples of their door material and their glass. This was a big help in the selection process. Apple also has a showroom where you can go look at the doors before installing. The guys who came to remove our old doors were friendly, competent. Due to the age of our old, heavy wood doors, they were required to play the whole EPA lead-paint requirements game. It was a bit ridiculous and even laughable, but they followed the requirements to a T while removing the doors from the property. Some repair of the mounting wood was completed before new tracks, new doors, and new electric openers were installed. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and price of the garage door installation from Apple. The doors are a massive improvement to our home, and we enjoy the convenience of pushing a button to drive in and out of the garage every day. Services Rendered: Remove two 60 year old garage doors and replace entire door systems
