Google5After speaking with several garage door companies I was referred to Commonwealth and I am so glad I was. The price was phenomenal. The customer service was first class and the speed of service was beyond impressive. I would recommend them to anyone. Today customer service is a lost art so it was very nice to hire a company that had customer service and great craftsmanship.

Google5From ordering the garage door to installing it, service was excellent, quote was emailed, I was contacted when installation would be and they taught me how to use the app and door. I highly recommend. Quality products as well, lots of options.

Google5Commonwealth Garage Door is second to none! If you're looking for fast, and phenomenal service, then look no further. Tommy and his team are awesome. I had them install new wifi capable garage door openers on my outbuilding and our house garage. Now I can open my doors from anywhere in the world, and also monitor if they're open or closed from the app. Please give them a call. You won't regret it!

Google5I had replaced my old garage door about 2 years ago with a beautiful new door from CWGD. The guys at Commonwealth Garage Doors were very courteous and professional and the process ran smoothly. Twice, I needed expedited maintenance, once with my old door that was installed by another company in 2004 when my home was built, and in 2024 for preventive maintenance on the new door. They were able to schedule an appointment on my preferred date. Trey was on time, knowledgeable, and very courteous. I am impressed with his experience, service and professionalism. So happy I chose this company for my garage door needs.

Google5The spring on our garage door broke, and I decided to get quotes from three different companies. I also asked my neighbors which garage door company they've used and received a recommendation for Commonwealth Garage Door. I chose them, and fortunately, they had an open slot for the same day. The technician was very professional and explained all the work that he did. I highly recommend Commonwealth Garage Door, and we plan to use them again for future work and to upgrade our garage door.

Google5(Please ignore the leaves and the poor quality photos - photos do not do the work justice!) Our garage door was in really bad shape - to the point we were unable to open the garage door anymore due to the metal shearing and caving in from damage by the previous homeowners. Daniel came to our home and provided us with different options for what would look and work best with our garage. His recommendations were based on what we were looking for, "timeless garage doors", and cost effective for our plans with this garage. Daniel also educated us on the different types / styles of doors, what is popular and most sought after, how the doors are made, different size tracks, as well as truly took the time to find what would be best for us. At no point did I feel he was trying to "sell a product" or push more expensive doors on us - it was truly a breath of fresh air! We signed the contract, got the door order with special modifications to the track, and we waited. Due to delay in supplies, it took approximately 7 weeks for our door to come in. Upon arrival, they had me scheduled for install within a week. THE BEST PART: The install team was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! Justin and Chad came to install our garage door. They arrived first thing Friday morning, Justin had amazing communication, they installed our garage door, and then met with me prior to leaving our home to discuss what all had been completed. Justin walked me through the installation process, the work performed, and the minor hiccups they came across. Justin took the time to show me important details on the new garage door to be aware of, and what specific changes were made compared to my last door (that were outlined in the contract). The crew was extremely detail oriented, left our home without any scraps or debris, and had the best customer service! I highly recommend that if you want great customer service, great quality work, and a great price - I would absolutely use Commonwealth Garage Door! Thank you Justin, Chad, and Daniel!

Google5We are very pleased with Commonwealth Garage Doors. From the first contact with them, we felt like they knew their stuff. They helped us decide what would work best for our needs by allowing a visit to their location to meet with Daniel and to look at samples and types of panels they could supply. We felt well informed as we made our choices. When our installation day arrived, we were impressed by the technicians as they began their work straight-away. I was most impressed by the, "One Team-One Vision" approach these technicians have. They worked very well together and presented themselves in a professional manner. I have never had garage doors installed by a commercial company before, so I really can't compare Commonwealth Garage Door to any other company. What I can do, is advise anyone that reads this review, that they would be wise to consider Commonwealth Garage Door as their first choice for garage door(s). I have to give my thanks to Daniel and Tommy, and their amazing field technicians, Lucas, TG, Josh, and Chad. Sorry you had to work our job on what might have been the hottest days of the year!

Angi5My garage door (192x84") was mangled and inoperative. I called Commonwealth Garage Door late Monday afternoon. They were able to come out and give me an estimate before noon the next day. Even better, they were able to replace my broken door the next morning. They are very punctual, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They fully explained everything they did and all the quirks they had to deal with while installing the new door. I highly recommend them. Services Rendered: Replace Garage Door

Angi5All the cold weather then the warm up must have taken a toll on a spring on one of my doors as it went on Saturday afternoon and the cables came off, making my garage door into another wall. I called Commonwealth Garage on Sunday expecting to get a voicemail. Someone picked up and in under 24 hours my garage was fixed. I left a check, went to work, and came home to an invoice and a working garage door. I honestly do not recall having a better experience with getting anything fixed in my house. Nice knowing we have a "garage guy" whenever we need something. Services Rendered: New spring and re-thread cables

Angi5I called on Thursday afternoon at around 4 PM and someone picked up, gave me a quote, and scheduled the service for the next morning at 9:30 AM. I received a call the next morning at 8:50AM from Chad saying he was running about 30 minutes EARLY and wanted to know if that was fine. It was. He came by, confirmed the quoted price for the work ($90). Also, my two car detached garage doors both needed mobile eyes installed, so I asked and he quoted me at $40 each installed. He did the work, but then he also lubricated all of my garage doors, adjusted a few settings on one of them that needed it because it was slamming the ground too hard, and also adjusted one of the rails that wasn't quite aligned right so it made a loud popping noise sometimes. Overall he was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond my expectations. I was pretty bummed when my door broke, but I'm now happy that I have three working doors for the first time since buying my house two years ago! Services Rendered: My attached garage door spring/tension bar mounting bracket popped out of the wall.

Angi5I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. I had gotten quotes from several companies and all told me it would cost as much to repair as to replace my single car garage door. This company showed up on time, told me it was easy, and cheaper, to repair. They had everything they needed to fix the door right then - no "let me email you an estimate when I get back to the office" and then waiting to be put on the schedule. Angi5One of the springs on my garage door broke over the weekend. I called a couple of places, and happened upon Commonwealth Garage Door on Angie's list. I called them Monday around 11 and was advised they could get to it that day. At about 12:45 someone knocked on the door. At 1:15 the repair was complete. I was very impressed with the speed with which there were able to get out and complete the repair. The service guy was professional and clearly competent. I would absolutely use them again! Yelp5We had a groundhog get in our garage and tear it up. It removed one of the garage door sensors and chewed through all the wires, so the door wouldn't open by remote any longer. I called Commonwealth Garage Door Sunday evening and left a message asking if they could come out Monday. The owner Tommy called first thing in the morning and was able to come out that afternoon, which was great. He even called later to let me know he was on the way. They ended up having to replace both sensors, brackets and wires. While they were here repairing the sensors, I asked them to lube everything up too. Tommy discovered that the sprocket was in bad shape and could go at anytime. He showed the old sprocket to me and it looked pretty bad, I know he wasn't trying to get one over on me. The house is 11 years old, so it was really no surprise. He did those repairs for us as well. Tommy and his helper were very pleasant and professional. Prices were very reasonable. It was definitely a great experience! I would definitely recommend Commonwealth Garage Door to anyone!!

Yelp5Tommy and the crew from Commonwealth Garage Doors did an amazing job with my two new garage doors at a price that could not be beat. Being a small, locally owned company, they are highly concerned about customer satisfaction and will go far out of their way to make the customer happy. Most importantly, Tommy's quote came in $1200 below the big box store for the exact same door, on a job that was only $2600 in the first place. Don't waste your time getting any other quotes. Commonwealth Garage Door is the best!
