My experience with Nelson Overhead Door was wonderful. I called at 7am and they came promptly after to fix a broken spring. Communication was easy between phone calls and texting. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Accidentally backed into our automatic garage door around 7:30am this morning. Called Nelson & Ryan had it repaired by 1:00pm for a reasonable price. Best of all, you can barely tell it even happened. Needless to say, give this company a call if you need anything done on your garage door.

I am very pleased with the fast, friendly, and reasonably priced service we received from Nelson Overhead Door. The spring on our 2-car garage door snapped last night (after business hours). I called a few minutes after 7:00 this morning and Ryan was at our house by 10:00. Forty-five minutes later I had a functioning door again, this time with a double spring instead of the original single one. Ryan took the time to explain what he planned to do ahead of time and the details afterward of what he did. He also pointed out how and where to lubricate. Well done!

Worst of all, said to come within 1 hour but never came even said not interested in garage door repair, wasted customers time. Springs replaced by Nelson Overhead Door are all broken within 1 year and they treated customers very bad while Nelson charged much higher even said what his worker said is not what he wanted and he is boss and he did not fulfil his field person promised, so be ware what he said.....

This afternoon, a spring on our garage door decided to break. Of course it was with both my/husband's cars inside-- broken spring means you can't even manually open the door-- and with Monday morning work just around the corner. Even though it's Sunday, the technician answered the phone right away, was to our house within 30 minutes, and had the repair done within another 30 minutes. We are so incredibly impressed. Will definitely use them again if needed, and would highly recommend to others. Thank you!!

Our garage door torsion spring broke on New Years day and Jim was out the next day. He was very friendly and completed the job in a timely and professional way. Not only did he replace the springs, but he went around and made sure everything was working properly including lubricating all the rollers and hinges. I would highly recommend Nelson Overhead Door.

Polite, punctual, and professional is my take on this company. I worked with Jim. He came out and fixed my issues for a reasonable price. He fixed what was broken and also fixed the reason the door broke in the first place. He also re-balanced and lubricated both of my garage doors. My garage door opener was not working, and it needed to be repaired or replaced. He was willing to look at repairing the brand I had (most won't even look at a Genie). As I suspected, it couldn't be repaired, and he advised me on the replacement. The price he quoted was less than that I got in a phone quote from other companies, and he was able to come quickly and install it. It's working great, and he was really good to work with. see above Services Rendered: First visit replaced garage door springs with torsion bar and spring, adjusted the torsion to meet specs with the new insulated door. Saved me money by using the old torsion bar instead of replacing it. Second visit, over a year later, installed new garage door opener. He gave me advice on what to look for in a good opener. I purchased the one I liked and he installed it for me in an hour or so. Something that would have taken me most of the day. Great service, would use him and recommend him to any one else.

I called Nelson Overhead Door for a garage door and door opener replacement when we were selling our house in July 2015. The cost for replacing both of these was $1000 even for a white 2 car door and an opener with a sensor and two remotes! It was a lot less than I expected. I was very pleased with the service and he product!
