These guys are excellent! Rick and his Son were very easy to communicate with and a really quick response. His quote is honest and the work was quick and professional. He installed new Torsion springs on my garage door the same day that I called them. I would highly recommend this company any day.
Our garage broke door broke and wouldn't close. We called Rick, texted him a few pictures and he was there 2 hours later to fix the problem and it only took him 30-45 minutes or so.

My garage door broke first thing in the morning and I was trapped at home, not able to get my car out. I called Monroe Overhead Door and Rick immediately responded, had me send him a picture of the door, called me right back, and came that morning to help fix the door. I appreciate the quick response, especially on a very snowy day. My garage door was fixed and open before the afternoon!
I contacted the company Tuesday and sent a picture of my damaged garage door. By 3pm Thursday the door was replaced and beautiful. Very trustworthy.
I called Rick on Saturday morning because my garage door would not go up. He asked me to send him a couple of pictures, and got right back to me with his diagnosis. He stated that he would be out between noon and 2 PM, and was here by 12:30. Although he installed two torsion springs, which he had quoted at $250, he determined that only one was required. He left it on the bar, but did not hook it up, and charged me only $200. He said to call him in seven or eight years when the first one wears out and he will come out and simply connect the second one, for only a service call charge. Highly recommended!

Rick installed 2 garage door openers in 2018 at a very reasonable price. In March 2020, one of them stopped working. He came out right away and fixed it. Was a bad sensor. Would highly recommend Rick and Monroe Overhead Door company!
These guys are the very best. You deal with the owner not sales people. Price was 20% less than anyone else for the same brand but upgraded model with higher R value. Couldn't be more happy with them.
Husband called to tell me that garage door was making loud grinding sounds. I called Monroe Overhead and spoke with Rick. He asked me questions to clarify precisely the problem. Though I couldn't recall specifics, he was kind and worked with my limited knowledge. He asked me to send him a photo of the garage door and the springs and scheduled to come the following morning. He was prompt, thorough, and professional. It was clear he knew garage door openers. We had to put the work on hold because some electrical updates needed to be completed first, however I would recommend Monroe Overhead Door Company without reservation.
we just got our "Italian living room" installed. It's a screen door for the garage door that we can put up and down. We have wanted one for a long time because we enjoy being outside at night in the spring, summer and fall, but sometimes bugs and other things don't allow that. With our new garage screen door, we can sit out and enjoy ourselves without having to worry. We got the option of the privacy screen, which we got. This means that we can see out, but people can't see it (unless it's nighttime and we have the garage light on) The customer service was fantastic and Monroe door put it up super fast. We ordered it and had it installed within a week and a half. It only took a couple hours to install as well. Our garage door was outdated so we also got a new set up with wifi access, keypad access and a safety beam (automatically included). We absolutely LOVE everything they did. The prices were beyond reasonable and fair. Don't delay, check it out!!!!
Since 2006 Rick has installed a new garage door at my house, my mom's house, and replaced broken springs on my brother's garage door. Great service, awesome price, awesome guy to work with, highly recommended!!!!
Extremely helpful.. My door wasn't working at all; gave me information over the phone on how to deal with it until it could be serviced. Came out the next day and charged me $75 less than the guy from another company, who tried to sell me a whole new door in addition to the opener. I highly recommend Monroe.
