This past snow storm our garage had gotten jammed halfway and stopped working. Prior to ASAP coming out, I had a few other garage repair companies come and quote, and they were either too pricey or rude. I experienced the total opposite from ASAP throughout the whole experience. The cost was reasonable and everyone (from the phone call to schedule the appt and to our technician Tim with the repair) was very kind, patient, and pleasant to work with. Tim was able to quickly repair our garage and explained in further detail so I was able to understand each step of the process and kept me in the loop throughout the repair. I can't thank you guys enough for getting our garage door repaired in a timely manner in this cold weather. I was referred by many to ASAP, and now I can see why. I will be referring ASAP for anyone else that runs to any issues with their garage in the future! Thanks again!
The spring on my two car garage door broke during the recent snowstorm. I called this morning and Amanda quoted me a spot on, very reasonable quote as well as scheduled a same day repair, which was a mere three hours after I called. Then we were fortunate to have Glen show up and do an outstanding, professional job ... not only replacing the broken spring, but doing those little extra things that made us feel confident that you cannot go wrong with ASAP. I'll make sure to tell all my family and friends about ASAP.
We are so happy with our beautiful new garage doors! Cam and Joe were our installers. They were very professional and helped us get our garage door openers on our cars synced, keypads working and myQ app up and running. Couldn't be happier with the doors and installation!
We had a problem with a garage door malfunction. We called ASAP and explained that it was somewhat urgent because of our daughter's upcoming marriage. A technician was sent out the same day. The service was done by James, who was very experienced, focused on solving the problem, and completed the work with thoroughness. We had a new garage door installed on our garage that was built in 1914. ASAP was great working with us. We had to reschedule a couple of times because our concrete work was taking longer than expected. They were extremely accommodating. I called ASAP Garage Door Repair at 8AM to repair a broken spring and they had a repair tech at my house by 11AM. WOW! Talk about FAST service. Gentleman was courteous, professional and performed the repair in 1 hour. He even lubricated all moving parts. Pricing is more than fair. 10/10 would recommended to anyone!
Our garage door spring broke so I contacted ASAP to come out and fix it. They were speedy and were able to get someone out to us the next day. During the scheduling call, they didn't ask about what kind of garage door we have or ask any questions. When the tech came out early the next morning he told me that we wouldn't be able to get the spring replaced on our garage door because we would need to convert our internal spring system to an external. Since we have above garage door storage built in, he wouldn't be able to do the repair that day. The tech was in my home for 10 minutes and I was charged $105 for his time and for the quote. After taking a few days to consider this situation, I feel that we were swindled and taken advantage of. We have since called out other local companies to provide an estimate and all have come and done so for free. They are all also able to do the work without us needing to take down our extensive storage system. Overall, I feel that ASAP Garage Door Repair should be ashamed of their behavior and I would not recommend them to my enemy. UPDATE: ASAP reached out and apologized for this experience. They also refunded us. They didn't ask me to remove or update this review, but I felt that they took steps to do the right thing.
Terrible customer service response. **** replaced two broken springs in my garage door. The tech left and the door was crooked and very noisy. I called and the same tech came and when he left the problems were worse. ASAP will answer your calls but it impossible to reach management. I gave up and called *********************** Within two hours a "qualified tech was here and the problems were solved. I attempted to call ASAP with a courtesy call just to let them know that they may have an employee that needs trading. I explained to the phone person that my call was not to complain or ask for anything...just thought that someone should know. NO RESPONSE
Excellent service! Called and they offered to come out same day. Very friendly customer service when I called. The rep came out, right on time, very friendly. I did not feel like they were out to just suck the money out of me. Everything was fixed in a timely manner Thank you!

I just got off the phone with my 83 year old mother. Glenn from ASAP Garage Door Repair had just completed a repair at her home in Sun City. He explained the options (repair or get a new opener) and then replaced the 22 year old opener. After the install he set up the two hand held remotes AND programmed her car remote! But the great service didn't stop there. As he was leaving out the small garage door, he noticed that it didn't close properly. This has been a long term, intermittent issue. He made a few adjustments and told her it won't be a problem again. Price for that -- FREE. Thanks Glenn!

A.S.A.P. GARAGE DOOR REPAIR IN HUNTLEY, I'M TRULY GRATEFUL. I've been having some problems with my garage door operating and getting errors about the motor control box. I know sometimes unplugging and replunging it in helps. I'm in my late 60's and can't keep climbing ladders to do this. Yesterday afternoon, James, from ASAP came out to repair my garage door opener. This was a Lift Master with the battery back up in case the power goes out it still works. James had bad news for me, I was out of warranty on this opener and I needed a new motor box which would be over $400.00. James thought it probably wouldn't be installed until next Wednesday. I just recently found out I needed surgery, my 88-year-old Mother was just taken this afternoon to the ER at Good Shepherd Hospital and I needed a new motor control box and they couldn't install it until next Wednesday. I was very overwhelmed. I called the office of ASAP and spoke to Jacob, the Office Manager. Jacob said I'll see what I can do. About fifteen minutes later, James from ASAP is at my door. James had a new motor box, installed it and there was no charge. ASAP I can't tell you how much I truly appreciated this. ASAP you are a company with compassion, kindness, exceptional customer service, and demonstrated good company work ethics. James, you are an outstanding employee. Thank you for everything you did for me yesterday, you went above and beyond.
A.S.A.P. GARAGE DOOR REPAIR IN HUNTLEY, DOES IT AGAIN! I sent out an email to many chat groups asking for recommendations regarding the problem I was having with my LiftMaster garage door opener. My LiftMaster garage door was giving me a message error of forced opening. It would open about 8 inches and stop. Lights were blinking and an error code would be displayed on the panel, it would do this occasionally and sporadically. Aaron, owner of A.S.A.P Garage Door Repair saw my post and called me. Aaron stated "it was the weather stripping that was causing the problem" (I had pictures in my post). Aaron said he could fix it for me with new weather stripping. He sent Tom out with new white weather stripping. Tom took off the old weather stripping and installed the new weather stripping today at a very reasonable cost. A.S.A.P. Garage Door Repair, you went above and beyond my expectations and providing exceptional customer service! I'm truly grateful.

I've had their repair guys out several times to repair problem with the garage door sensors (A.S.A.P. installed new door and sensors one year ago). They give me reasons why the sensors don't work but won't do anything to solve the problem. The door track (which they installed) seems to move slightly when attempting to close the door, throwing the sensors out of place, therefore the door won't close. I asked service rep to install a bracket to keep track from moving. He said he couldn't do that. In summary, I've been charged for two service calls and problem still exists.
They respond to messages immediately and they also come out as soon as possible, usually within the same day. They will not try to sell you things you don't need. Services Rendered: They replaced the springs on the garage door.
I had two 25 year old Craftsman 1/2hp chain drives openers that needed to be replaced, and a 3rd one that was sporadically having issues. All were failing and getting touchy with remote and outdoor panel compatibility. Of course, they were all incredible noisy, and we have a room above the garage where it sounded/felt like an earthquake every time a door was opened. From previous homes, we wanted to use Liftmaster openers again. Home Adviser recommendations never even called! I went to Liftmaster's website and found 3 ‘local’ dealers that all had accolades and excellent reviews. I had each quote me, and ASAP was quick to close the loop, the most knowledgeable, and competitive on pricing. Deidra was the initial contact person, and she was so helpful. Because noise was an issue for me, she helped me make a decision to step up to a Liftmaster 8550W unit (3/4 hp belt-drive, battery back-up, MyQ application for online control and monitoring). She even made me aware of an online rebate offer through Liftmaster that scored me some other MyQ home automation for free. We scheduled my installation for a few days later, and the technician, Jim, was just incredibly knowledgeable and complete with all aspects of the installation. He is a detail guy so he took my hodge-podge and left me with a super neat and clean looking install. All new remote and sensor wiring, new metal bracing as needed, and the high quality light bulbs that handle vibration better than the standards. He also showed me how to program my exterior keypad before he inspected the doors, tightened up some screws and gave everything a proper lubrication. He then took away the old openers and left a spotless work site. The end result was incredibly quiet doors and openers with perfectly functioning remotes, keypads, and apps. I just recently moved into my house and wanted to change the door code from that of the previous owners. I tried numerous times, but could not get it to work. I called ASAP and spoke to Tony who was very patient and took the time to guide me through the process. I eventually got it to work! He could have easily hit me up for a service call ($89), but chose to save me the money and help me out over the phone. I couldn't be happier! We called ASAP Garage Door in Huntley and they scheduled a service call the next day. The technician arrived on time and did all of the work quickly and efficently. They even replaced the rusty tracks with new ones. They secured a couple of the door panels too! The work they did was actually more than we expected and better than we expected. BY FAR the best garage door opener installer and service. There are many garage door service companies and I would have to say this being my 9th house ASAP is by far the best. They gave an accurate quote OVER the Phone, Came ON TIME, Service technician was HIGHLY skilled, and all that was asked of them was done. The service tech cleaned up EVERYTHING, got all remotes working, got car/truck home links working and this door opener and garage tuneup is so good you can not hear anything. Unbelievable!!!!!
