Yelp5I just got a new garage door opener installed. Got a price installed for a new Liftmaster from Vince via email. They arrived promptly when they said they would arrive. They removed the old opener and installed the new one quickly, no problems or surprises. Made sure everything worked before they left. The new unit is very nice and has all the modern features (battery backup, camera, wireless, etc.) It is so quiet compared to the old one. Recommend 1A for garage door service.

Yelp5We absolutely loved 1A Garage doors. I can't remember the name of the man who came but he was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way that didn't make me feel dumb. Great work and they don't try to charge you an arm and a leg. They are upfront and honest.

Yelp5When our garage door stopped working I called 1A garage doors and Vince came within a couple of hours. Even though our system was pretty old he recommended a tuneup instead of the much more expensive replacement. We appreciated that. He thought we might get another couple of years out of it. Very pleasant and showed good expertise with his work. We will call them again for any other issues.

Yelp5I wish I could give more than 5 Stars! I called them this morning because my door was getting worse and worse. Andrey was out here 2 hours later, and an hour after that I had a completely new motor and belt assembly! Unbelievable! And cheaper than I expected.

Yelp5Called 1A for service on an older garage door that was getting stuck. Received an appointment immediately and they did an excellent job fixing the problem. Very professional and gave us some tips on how to maintain our garage door opener in the future. I would highly recommend.

Yelp5As the owner of a residential property management company, I must ensure our vendors are reliable, responsive and reasonably priced. 1A Garage Doors checks all those boxes. They've been providing service for the properties we manage for many years. I cannot recommend them enough. They take care of our tenants and and do quality work. Google5We are thrilled with the 1A Garage Door experience . The door broke a day before Christmas on a Saturday afternoon . I called the number and the person that answered was delightful . He offered us a repair time in a few hours . To our surprise the technician came on time and was a lovely person . He offered us 3 options on how we would like to proceed. He went on to replace the broken parts and others that needed to updated .Dan deserves a shout out for his expertise and professionalism. Great great experience!!

Yelp5Cable disconnected, I was not prepared to deal with high tension spring, garage door not conveniently usable, I need to charge my car daily inside. Called in the morning, they arrived same day, earlier than they anticipated and had me fixed in no time at all. Explained it all, fair price. This is my second time with them, Daniel was the tech. excellent service.

Yelp5I've reached out to 1A twice on Yelp in the last 4 years and each time, they are fast at responding to my inquiry, am able to quickly set up an appointment, have my issue fixed timely, price is reasonable and no hard sell! These are the things I look for when I'm seeking repair work and there's a reason why they have such great Yelp ratings. The first time I reached out, one of the springs on the garage door snapped so def a job best left to the professionals. The 2nd time, which was a couple months ago, Andre came out (and funnily, we think he came out to my house for the first issue I had too) to check on my finicky garage door that would, from time to time, refuse to close and the motor would whirl with no action. OF COURSE when he came to the house, the garage magically started working again. Andre was great in that he explained to me it could be the sensors, maybe it could really be the whole unit but was absolutely up front about how he didn't want me to feel like I needed to necessarily replace the whole thing just yet (seeing as I wasn't quite ready for that) and to try replacing the sensors first and if it still persisted, then we'd go from there. I'd long had a hunch something was up with the sensors so we decided to go with that and he oiled the track to help it run smoother. To date, haven't had an issue with the garage opening and closing and quite honestly, I most appreciated Andre looking out for me on what worked for ME and not that he was trying to upsell me on a whole new unit if there was a lower cost option that we could try first. And believe me, that whole unit is not cheap. Again, 1A is my go to for garage door issues for a reason, as not only is their pricing ver fair, it's the customer service that has won me over. As someone who has worked in a retail environment for a long time, I always said that you will always retain your customers if you do what's right for them, and not just because you're trying to make the hard sale!

Google5Called about my broken garage on Saturday morning. Daniel showed up about an hour and a half later. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and got the job done for a reasonable cost and no extra charge for coming out same day on Saturday.

Google5My garage spring busted, everyone I called was busy and couldn't get my garage door opened until the next day at the earliest. 1A Garage doors got someone out to me in 30 minutes and we're able to convert a custom spring into another custom spring and the garage opens smoother than ever before, and it was done the same day! Highly recommend these guys. Amazing response time, service, and work! Definitely saving their number in my phone.

Google5I emailed multiple garage door repair companies yesterday morning, including 1A Garage Doors, about a problem I was having with my garage door. Vince responded and came out to take a look within a couple hours. He quickly identified the problem, gave me a fair quote to perform the work to fix it, and started on it right then and there. He was done in about an hour. He changed out the garage door spring that a different company had previously installed, which was sized incorrectly, and now the door is MUCH easier to open and close by hand. I have a side-mounted garage door opener, which isn't very common. He wasn't phased by that, and made sure it was working as it was supposed to by running several checks and going through the configuration procedure just to be safe. We also discussed future plans for garage door replacements when that time comes. Fair prices, solid work, and a good guy, running a quality operation. These are the types of businesses I like to support.

Angi5My garage door spring broke. I left a message for 1A Garage Doors at 11pm. By the next morning the company owner (Vince) showed up in a company wrapped truck and logoed shirt making it easy to know who had arrived. Vince replaced my broken spring with a much longer one with a 30% higher cycle rating. He also helped program my built in car transmitter while he was there. Professional, prompt, and courteous. Angi5Daniel came out and replaced the seal on the bottom of our garage door which mice had chewed through. Our door was 20+ years old so I expected the track that the seal went into to be outdated and it was, I couldn't even find it on Youtube, so a new track was required for the new seal to fit into. Parts and labor for this 8' metal track was only $50 in addition to the quote for the actual seal. I priced this out beforehand with competitors and I must say the pricing for everything with 1A was the lowest and very fair. I will definitely call 1A when needed again. Daniel...friendly, hard working guy with no upsell. Felt very comfortable with him. Could not have asked for a better man to help us out. Honestly. Thanks much! Angi5Great! Owner of the business made the call. My garage door is aluminum. When it was originally installed, it was not set up right, not enough braces to keep the door from bending. The cables that help roll up the door had come off the rollers. So when the opener tried to raise it, the door stopped and buckled in the middle. He looked at the garage door, gave me a price to fix, we said yes and he went to work. Had everything he needed to repair our door with him - three metal braces. Lubricated everything. Installed a new spring over the door. In and out in an hour. I would highly recommend this garage door business for any problems you might have. They not only do repairs of the doors and openers, they sell and install doors and openers as well. Services Rendered: Garage door bent, needed reinforcement bars.

I got an honest and very fair estimate, and they gave me a two hour time window for a same-day appointment. The tech, Andre, arrived within 90 minutes. He clearly explained everything to me, the price was very reasonable, he completed everything in 30 minutes, and even included a complimentary $49 maintenance lubrication.
