Yelp5The spring broke on my garage door, I called they said springs are priority, they could be out next day... I was out of town so made appointment for following week. Appointment was at 7:00 , tech was here at 7:03, fast, friendly, professional, efficient service . I called to pay over phone same day and they even took $20.00 off my invoice! They are the best!

Yelp1Worst service ever! Super expensive and showed up 2 hours late. I had to run to pick up my kids at school and the technician entered my home without permission and dropped a fat deuce that plugged my toilet. Breaking and entering in my opinion. solid crooks all the way around. save your money and crapper by shopping elsewhere. Gross people!

Google5Joe came out today and did a great job for us. He fixed the sagging chain and adjusted all the sensors. He fixed our loose wall mount when he saw the bolts were undersized since the initial installation. Thanks Joe, and Overhead Door!

Google5Joe came out and was Amazing! We were running a bit behind and his patience and professional manner was just what we needed. He was quick with repairs and so polite as my son asked questions. Highly, Highly recommend.

Yelp1One of our garage doors wouldn't close correctly, so we called to her then check the opener that they installed a few years ago. The appointment was made. However, we were not advised of their minimum service call amount. When the servicemen showed up, he quickly realized that the only problem was an overactive spider who had created a huge web over one of the sensors which did not allow the door to completely close. He wiped off the spider web and he was done. He presented a bill for $195. Had we been told ahead of time that it was going to cost us $195 for them to just drive in the driveway, we would have canceled the appointment. This is a ridiculously high service call fee. UPDATE: To the company's credit, they did refund the charge. HOWEVER, they would not have done so had we not made a special trip to their office to discuss it with them. So, yes, they did the right thing but only when personally confronted with the idiocy of the charge.

Google5Technicians Sarah and Bryant did a great job fixing our garage door. I called them on a Tuesday and they showed up Wednesday and took care of our problem. Service was reasonably priced, prompt, and professional.

Google5Our garage door decided to stop working. I checked with someone I respect and he referred me to Salem Overhead Door. I am so glad I listened. I called, and when making the appointment was informed on what to expect, pricing, etc. Their tech, Barnie, was right on time, completely courteous and professional and when I expressed an idea I had been considering, he provided good insight that probably saved me a lot of challenges down the road. When it came to fixing our door, he showed me what had gone wrong, got the fix done quickly and effectively and we are completely happy with the job done. I will be happy to refer Overhead Door Company of Salem to friends and neighbors should they have problems with their garage doors.

Google5Today I used the Overhead Door Company ( Salem , Oregon ) . This was a very pleasant and professional experience for the installation of a new garage door. The personnel Sara and Nick installers were simply put --- the best of the best !!! It was nice to see them work together as a solid team as they showed their craft to be top notch. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of work from Arron in the office to installers. If you are lucky enough to get Sara and Nick at your install or service you will see what I mean. Thank you Overhead Door , The pleasure was all mine. You get a 10 + grade . Google5After recently purchasing a new garage door opener motor including installation, I was unable to configure the OHD Anywhere app. I called the company and they sent Shane to our home to help. Shane was incredible. Shane took the time, and was able to explain and walk me through the process. Without his help I would never have been successful in completing this operation. Shane made sure that I was Able to use this function prior to leaving. I couldn't be happier with Shane and his professional assistance.

Google5We had excellent service from our technician Shane today with Overhead door! Our garage door is now just like new! He explained all issues and was very upfront with the cost of each. We couldn't be more pleased with his award winning attitude and customer service! It really shows how he truly cares for his customers in the work he performed! Thank you Shane!

Yelp5I had a seal replaced 3 months ago that wasn't done properly (not going to name tech). I called and the office had Barney come take a look at it. He was prompt, knowledgeable, very thorough and replaced the faulty seal quickly. I was redisent to use them after my experience with first tech but they will definitely be my go-to for garage door repair or replacement, thanks to Barney's professionalism.

Yelp5These guys are professional, reliable, and know their stuff. I had them replace a broken spring last year; then this year, my garage door seemed to develop a mind of its own (it would sporadically decide not to close), so I made an appointment to have it serviced and repaired. When Shane arrived, he quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a quote for the repair plus service ($195). He fixed the issue promptly (eyes had not been installed properly), serviced all the other parts, and then he asked if my car had been programmed to open the garage door - I didn't even realize that could be done! He took care of that in a matter of minutes, and now I have one less thing to fiddle with when trying to get back into my house. I'll definitely be sticking with this company going forward.

Yelp5Through an unfortunate set of circumstances our garage door was ruined by our car driving through the garage door! It was a mangled mess. I called two companies for bids. One company said a total door replacement was needed and that it would cost me over $4,000. Then the wonderful folks from Overhead Door arrived. They said fixing the existing door was no problem. They did the fix in less than an hour. It looks amazing, it works smoothly, and the price was incredibly fair. I will use Overhead Door from now on. These folks were amazing.

Yelp2Giving this two stars on account of decent promises from their manager, but atrocious experience you should definitely consider before working with this company. Needing repair on my garage door. After speaking with manager/dispatcher Kyle earlier this morning, a technician (Barney) called me back and scheduled to come out the same week. An hour later Barney starts ringing the doorbell and calling me to let me know that he's there now, because the appointment 'just showed up on my list 30 minutes ago.' I was in the shower, but when I call Barney back he gruffly explains that he's there to do my work now, and doesn't acknowledge that he scheduled the appointment for later that week. But it gets way worse . . . Due to reasons I won't explain here, I have a sign posted at my front door asking for visitors to please wear a mask on my property, please. After putting on clothes and mask, I walk outside where Barney immediately tells me that he won't be wearing a mask and if that's a problem for me that I should just stay inside. I replied that when he's on my property he must wear a mask. He retorted that he wouldn't be, and I promptly directed him to leave my property. I did call back and speak with Kyle again, whose family bought the business in the past year. Kyle was sympathetic to my complaint, said this had been an issue in the past with Barney, and promised he would speak with Barney to ensure he was 'on the same page'. I'm hopeful there's more than just words to Kyle's promises. After some hesitation, I am now scheduled with another tech for NEXT week who Kyle assured me will be vaccinated and will wear a mask. I'm willing to alter my review after the service is completed, but the initial experience definitely left me shocked this company would employ someone who would be so disrespectful to their customers (let alone the supposed 'scheduling mix up').
