Giving this two stars on account of decent promises from their manager, but atrocious experience you should definitely consider before working with this company.
Needing repair on my garage door. After speaking with manager/dispatcher Kyle earlier this morning, a technician (Barney) called me back and scheduled to come out the same week. An hour later Barney starts ringing the doorbell and calling me to let me know that he's there now, because the appointment 'just showed up on my list 30 minutes ago.' I was in the shower, but when I call Barney back he gruffly explains that he's there to do my work now, and doesn't acknowledge that he scheduled the appointment for later that week.
But it gets way worse . . . Due to reasons I won't explain here, I have a sign posted at my front door asking for visitors to please wear a mask on my property, please. After putting on clothes and mask, I walk outside where Barney immediately tells me that he won't be wearing a mask and if that's a problem for me that I should just stay inside. I replied that when he's on my property he must wear a mask. He retorted that he wouldn't be, and I promptly directed him to leave my property.
I did call back and speak with Kyle again, whose family bought the business in the past year. Kyle was sympathetic to my complaint, said this had been an issue in the past with Barney, and promised he would speak with Barney to ensure he was 'on the same page'. I'm hopeful there's more than just words to Kyle's promises. After some hesitation, I am now scheduled with another tech for NEXT week who Kyle assured me will be vaccinated and will wear a mask.
I'm willing to alter my review after the service is completed, but the initial experience definitely left me shocked this company would employ someone who would be so disrespectful to their customers (let alone the supposed 'scheduling mix up').
