If you have a home warranty you should call them first. I feel like the A Plus could have been more transparent. When I said I have a home warranty they said oh yea you can get reimbursed. When I called the home warranty they advised if another technician has touched it, the warranty is void. I had to pay 1200.00 out of pocket when it would have been covered by be warranty.

The first time we used A Plus the service was great because we had a Liftmaster opener. When we called to have another opener serviced (Genie) we weren't asked what brand of opener needed repair but were told the technician had a truck 'fully stocked with parts.' When the technician arrived he said they only carry parts to repair Liftmaster openers because 'Genies break too much.' (Fortunately, we had ordered and received the part necessary for the repair so the technician installed the part and left.) When we scheduled the repair we were told the service call would be "$29.99" but we ended up paying $130 for about 20 minutes work (the technician didn't inspect the spring or other components because 'we don't work on Genies'). If they're only going to service one make of opener they should make that clear in their advertising and when scheduling repairs. They should also make clear of the pricing structure. Needless to say we will look elsewhere when the next repair is needed. UPDATED REVIEW: Got a call this morning from the General Manager (Ryan) asking about our experience and the above review. He was genuinely interested in learning our perception and voluntarily offered to make it a 'win-win.' We had a good conversation and came to an amicable resolution. Although the original review (2 stars) remains accurate we sincerely appreciated Ryan's call and would like to make a 5 star review for the customer care and service. Because of Ryan's call, we will use A Plus as needed in the future.

I had Grover service my door. He helped set up my WiFi and key fob in addition to the lube service. He was respectful and professional. I will for sure use this company when I need to do any big work on my garage. Great service and I got a deal, but I think it would be worth the regular price.

I was so disappointed in this company and their honesty. I needed a simple reprogramming of the belt drive after a power outage. It ended up costing $60 for 3 minutes of work with another company. The A+ serviceman said he couldn't fix it and gave me a quote of nearly $3000 which could be done that day. He wanted to replace the opener, the springs, the cables, the rollers. Everything but the door had to be replaced for the door to work properly. I am sorry but this is what I call dishonest. I would never refer anyone to this company unless you enjoy being ripped off! Is there a zero star rating? Services Rendered: Just reprogramming the opener which he should have known how to do. It is very simple and I could now do it myself.

If there were zero stars I'd use it. We had a spring break and while the rest of the door was in great shape, the repairman stated he would like to assess the door. after a few minutes he contacted me back and gave me all the horrible things that were about to go bad. the door is the same age as the one right next to it. And that one was fine. One item that was pointed out was a fray in the cable right at eye level. The frayed ends looked exceptionally shiny, not rusted or corroded as you'd expect metal exposed to air to be. He told me that if we did not fix it, that it would snap within two weeks. We had him only do the spring and today, 14 days later, the cable snapped right where he said it would. Upon looking at the garage camera, we noticed him with a pair of pliers/cutters right at that cable while he was assessing it. I contacted the company and they said they would take care of it. Needless to say, we are having another company repair it. I'll update this review if they actually step up. I'm considering a police report for fraud. UPDATE: I mentioned that I would update this if there was any news. The owner of the company responded immediately with apparent great concern. They are very interested in getting to the bottom of this and have been proactive in doing so. I am impressed with their response. I know it's a task to hire good employees and once in a while a sub par worker may sneak through the cracks. What really shows a companies dedication to stellar customer service is their response to weeding out less than stellar employees. Although I won't be using this company in the future, I will say their response to this issue has been satisfactory and am satisfied that anyone who uses this company in the future will be taken care of.

Cole installed a new garage door motor for me recently and provided fantastic service! A Plus Garage Doors was quick to respond to our call when the previous system broke on a very cold winter day. Cole came out, gave options about the best way forward, and had the new system installed quickly. He also returned at a later date when it was more convenient for me, to program the new system to my car and show me more about how it worked and what all it could do. He is Park City based, which made it very convenient for me. I love my new garage door opener and am very happy with the service provided by Cole and A Plus Garage Doors.

Had my garage door spring break called A+. Joseph came out the next day gave a very reasonable estimate and fixed the door that afternoon. He sent a text saying he was on his way to the job. Love that. Excellent communication. Super happy with his work. No guessing.No games. High quality service for high-quality product. Will definitely use them again.

I called A Plus Garage Door Repair this morning, as I've been having more and more issues with my garage door, so much that it wasn't even closing. They were so polite and kind on the phone, and they had someone here by 1pm! Jacob was professional and kind, and fixed the issue right away, while installing a keypad too which will be a game changer for my family. I can't thank them enough! Great service.

We got a Liftmaster, belt-drive, insulated door. Nothing fancy, but it is great. The door is so quiet we almost cannot hear it while standing in the garage; it can be spooky watching the door move almost silently (after years of enduring our steel door rattle up and down.) While Carson was a bit late to our site, I'm sure this is not uncommon in the business and I was not the least distressed, schedules are hard to keep. He went at his work with professionalism: sized up the job, figured out what he needed and went to work, non-stop for about four hours until about 7:30 pm. I even felt sorry for him as he did the entire job alone. Wow, we got a great door, excellent controls, and he took the time to show me how to make it work. He cleaned up after himself as if he had never been here. I'd be glad to have him and A+ back at any time. Services Rendered: Install new garage door

Everything was great, except the price seemed high. Luckily they had a deal on Angie's List to fix the springs that saved me $100. That deal brought the price into a range I felt good about and the deal also threw in a greasing/servicing of the door worth $49! They came out on a Saturday and fixed it promptly! :-) Services Rendered: The garage door wouldn't open. The spring was broken.

Had a coupon for garage door maintenance and they ended up charging us $200 (no repairs) and still left a roller loose that we had to repair ourselves! The technician said it was a service charge for him to even come out PLUS the maintenance. Services Rendered: Garage door maintenance (lube moving parts, etc...).
