Yelp5Waited all day for another company to call back for a garage repair. Could not get a call back. Called this company and it was answered by a real person, not an answering service. The person was nice, understanding and she even walked us through a possible fix. It did not work, and a tech was on site with in 20-30 minutes. Within an hour of the first call the repair was done and the technician was on his way. He even offered to put the car in the garage for us before he left. Worth every penny. Wish I got the names of all involved so I could include them in this review. All I can say is THANKS to all. 1/30/24 Unfortunately repair did not stay fixed.

Google5Thank you Lauren and Jeff for a great job with our garage door! They make sure customers are completely satisfied with every detail. Jordan is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Google3I am happy with the door overall. However, I am disappointed with the trim. When they took measurements, they did not take into account that their trim was a lot thiner than what I had on before. Now I have old white caulking showing around the black trim they installed. They did try to remove it but it is still very visible. They did not bother to clean up what they able to take off either. I now have to paint that old caulking or find someone who can install a wider trim to cover that up.

Yelp5My handyman put in my garage door and he did not know what he was doing. The door came down when it was supposed to go up. It came chasing on my car it was all bad. Then came Zack. The hero of the year. He had to take everything apart and reinstall it. It works. I feel like he rescued me. Polite, professional etc. when I need anything to do with gates doors etc. I will go to San Angelo Door Co. They came out on the same day and did not over charge me.

Google5We had some problems with a challenging door installation and Jeff went way above and beyond what any other contractor or builder did for us during the build of our new house (and that is an understatement!) San Angelo door was very proactive to make sure that the job was done right, even though they were busy like everyone else. They make the time for you. Their office runs like clockwork which allows them to take care of all the details. I world recommend San Angelo Door for any residential or commercial needs!

Google1About a year and a half ago, they replaced the garage doors. They did alright. Then a few months ago, they fixed the hook on the traveler. After a few months the door started mulfunctioning and messed up the upper panel due to the incorrect adjustment of the traveler/rail (the arm was pulling towards the motor for a split second when starting to move instead of up towards the ceiling). Over time the metal could not withstand the force. Their techinician tried to deflect the blame to the tenant saying the door was operated when the lock was engaged. If that were the case, there would be visible damage where the tip of the lock meets the side of the door due to the force of the motor. There was none. The office said last time they were there when they fixed the traveler, they raised a flag about the motor being old. I don't remember that. But they went ahead and did the fix anyway. They didn't say that it wasn't going to hold and I needed to replace the motor too. I would have. To fix it, they said they'll add a brace and also would adjust the traveler limits, which they should have done the first time. Presented the evidence and gave them a chance to rectify the situation. They continued to blame the tenant and didn't take responsibility. They kept saying the door panel that they had replaced a year and a half back that got damaged was out of warranty. They never acknowledged that the traveler fix wasn't done properly, that it wasn't aligned correctly according to the travel distance of the traveler. Also they never apologized for insulting my tenant by accusing him of operating the door with the lock engaged. Won't be using them again.

Google5I as well will add my 5 star to San Angelo Door Co. Being a property manager and having somewhat of a limited knowledge about garage doors learned over the years dealing with different contractors. Thus after a few years in purchasing a new house began having issues with my garage door. This was one of the least expensive garage doors on the market installed when our house was built. Having the entire garage door system replaced as well up grading to a higher quality door and stronger rail system my wife and I are very pleased. Overall the company itself and its staff are very professional. The quality of installation and service was top of the line. Thus I highly recommend this company.

Google1Called Monday for an estimate on repair for 2-twelve foot steel roll up doors and scheduled repair. Crew showed up on time on Wednesday, did a great job at 1/3 LESS than the estimate! Thanks

Yelp5We had the misfortune of having our garage door break the DAY OF our garage sale a few years ago. This company saved our door and fixed us up the same day, knowing exactly what to do. We had to have another emergency fix on the door a few weeks later, and ONCE AGAIN, they were one call away, not to mention it was outside of normal business hours and it was snowing. We later had them install our automatic garage door opener and service was friendly, reliable, and efficient. These guys are the best in town, hands down. Would never call anyone else.
