Google1I am a local remodel contractor and I certainly wished I had read the reviews people have written about West Texas Doors. They installed a roll up door on the outside of a building for us and failed to tell us that it would need and awning and a gasket to keep out water and keep heat and cooling in. The day after the door was installed it rained and flooded the shop of the business. So I called Bill and he said he would build an awning and install a gasket to keep out the weather. 2 weeks later we still have no awning or gasket and Bill will not answer his phone or reply to texts. I did call and one of his helpers answered the phone for him and took the phone to Bill so I could talk to him. When he saw who was calling he hung up the phone without saying a word to me. My suggestion to anyone thinking about doing business with him is to look somewhere else.

Google5If you are looking for a new garage door or just someone to repair your existing door, call these guys! I called them about replacing the garage door at my house, they were great on the phone and i had them replacing my garage door the next day. They did a GREAT JOB! and the quality of the door is excellent! I am a handyman by trade but i didn't do my own door because it wasn't worth it for the price. So i had west texas door take care of it. Call them you won't regret it.

Google5I called them after hours for an emergency garage door repair and they sent a technician named Eric within an hour (the other two companies I called didn't return my call until Eric was already on his way to my house). Eric was very professional and friendly and got the garage door repaired within an hour. He also voluntarily gave me several useful tips on how to better maintain my garage door. Best service ever. I will do business with them again in the future.

Google5I called them and they sent a tech out named Dwayne. The guy was honest, timely, called before he came out and asked if it was ok he was a little early. Very professional and reasonable. I've worked with a few garage door companies when i have had issues in the past, and this company, by far, is the most honest, fair and professional in the lubbock area.

Google5Great service and friendly staff. I quoted three different companies to replace the torsion springs on my garage and not only were they the cheapest but Eric Hughes was able to come out and fix the garage door the same day. He is a highly recommended technician.

Google2When I called to schedule a repair consultation I was told someone would be out "Thursday around 3:30-4" with no date. Thursday of the week I called came around and no one showed or called. I figured if they weren't going to show then it wasn't worth contacting them, and I marked the company off the list of companies I might use for the repair. One week later I got a call from one of West Texas Door's repair technicians saying he was scheduled to come out around 3:30-4 but was available around noon. So, I told him to come on out because free is free and my husband was available. After the guy left I found out he didn't do a consultation, he did the repair. So, I ended up getting charged $60 for what was supposed to be a free consultation. I will say everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The price they charged was also $15 lower than next closest estimate I had, so if price is your concern West Texas Door has you covered.

Google5Not all of the parts came in for my garage door. I bought the door from Home Depot. West Texas is the one that delivers for Home Depot. Home Depot tried to make it West Texas fault. West Texas bent over backwards and gave us the parts needed to complete our job. They did not have to do this. They said that they would wait and get the parts from Home Depot. I know who has my business from now on. Great job West Texas Door and Construction!

Google1I called and was told they would call back that afternoon about a scheduling a time that afternoon or the next day. I didn't speak to anyone again that day. The next day, while at work, I got a call that they were at my house for our 9:00 appointment. I told them we didn't have an appointment but I could be there by 11. He said he would call back to set u[ a time. That was 6 days ago.... still waiting on that call.
