Cannot recommend them highly enough. One tension spring on my two car garage door was broken and I could not open the door. The weekend was approaching with my car stuck inside. Though they were already fully booked, Denise promised they would come late on Friday. No one came and it was 6:30pm so I figured I was stuck. But sure enough, Shawn arrived and in no time at all he had the garage door working like new. We're lucky to have Grove Beach Door in our town.
We could not be happier with our choice to have Grover Beach Door out to our house in Arroyo Grande. We first had Precision Door out for a quote and were told $1700 for a system that is only a couple years old. It felt very wrong as you can buy a brand new opener for $500 (w/ installation), so we called Grover Beach Door and ended up paying $160 for what was minimal repairs and 1 hour of work. It turns out that Precision Door was telling us that things needed repair that obviously did not. We've since talked to several friends that have lived in the area for years (we moved here 6 years ago) and all of them said that Precision is known for nefarious business practices. So the net net, give Grover Beach Door a call and save yourself time and money.
I highly recommend Grover Beach Door. They are reliable and very trustworthy. After having a terrible experience with another garage door company that attempted to rip us off for $2000. The folks at Grover Beach Garage Door came to our house and provided a very professional service. We really appreciate how quick they got to our house and the very honest manner they do business.

My garage door opener had been sluggish and wasn't responding to my new car so I called a "service" in SLO to fix the problem with the remote which resulted in a salesman CHARGING ME to come out, grossly over-estimate the cost of solving the problem. I did some homework, called Grover Beach, talked to the real live person who had the skill and interest to FIX my problem came and did so at a small fraction of what the highly advertised company wanted. I am so glad I made the choice I did.
We had our garage door replaced and I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and meticulous attention to detail. Every detail from the way the wires were routed to the finely tuned door tracks looked perfect. I've never been this impressed by the work of a contractor before. I can't recommend them highly enough.
