Google5Initially I was concerned about scheduling issues and a no-show/no-call yesterday. However, today James Augusta arrived at scheduled time, was both pleasant and efficient. He more than made up for the bad experience yesterday and I would highly recommend him.

Google5Koleton was our tech that came out to service our garage. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He greeted us with a smile and gave us the price before staring the repair. He also finished in a timely manner and did an excellent job on the repair. I highly recommend Koleton from Precision Overhead Garage.

Google5Our garage door wouldn't open on a Sunday and we needed our door fixed ASAP. We weren't happy with the previous door company we had gone with to service our door. We saw Precision is open 24/7 and had great reviews so we decided to give them a try. Abel our technician showed up on time and even earlier than the window they gave me. Called and let me know he was on his way. Abel broke down the problem and explained what was needed to get my door back in business. He also suggested a safer way to fixing the problem so we wouldn't be in this situation again. He was fast and very detailed in his work. My wife and I were very pleased with Precision. Our garage door is so much quieter too after all the work Abel did. We would recommend Abel and Precision Door all the time.

Google5I called because my garage door was super loud. Randy came out and fixed it up nicely and now it's so quiet! I also needed a new weather seal which was installed a few weeks later by Matt who provided excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

BBB5I'm very pleased with the quality of work that was done with Prestige. I had an issue, didn't know where to turn and called around. They had someone come out within the hour. The service was timely, and price paid was reasonable. I'm happy I went with them. Navid was wonderful.

Google1Precision overhead door springs blew apart after only 3.5 years of light use. My previous door springs had lasted 15 years. When I called them and asked them I was told my warranty had conveniently run out but they can install better springs for an additional $750. They do not stand behind their work and are only interested in selling you more.

Yelp5Based on myself and my husband's research, we decided to try this company to fix our garage door. three bolts just popped out and we could not open and close our garage door. We were given a timeframe when someone would arrive. And luckily they came earlier. James the repair technician was extremely friendly and helpful and not pushy. He recommended three different options to my husband and of course we chose the least expensive one. All pricing includes tax, so there's no surprises. He finished the job in a timely manner and we tested the garage door and it works may be better than before.

BBB1The most outrageous service ever. Pure nightmare customer service. We called them in to install a lock mode on our door due to break ins in our neighborhood. Young probably inexperienced tech came in, and said we have to change everything for almost $2000. sadly I expected it and things were installed. Once left realized the lock doesn't work. The tech came again and after 2 hrs he said he doesn't why and he has to talk to his boss. Nobody called. I called them two more times. then another tech Noha called and said the lock mode can't disable the outside keypad! Translation: they lied to me since that was the main reason I went with their brand new pricy system. I called liftmaster ( did Precision garage door job) and liftmaster told me they have to install a master keypad. I called/texted them again 2 more times. the tech scheduled for 9/22/ but an hr before the apt he called and said he didn't know and nobody ordered the part! He told me someone will reach out to me. Nobody did. I called twice more for them to come and finish the job and nothing yet. I am reporting them to california department of consumer affairs next. Do NOT use this company. Their prices are outrageous and this is not a name to trust.

BBB1Although the technician was professional and knowledgeable, the pricing is very misleading. I had a broken spring and the pricing of the spring included labor. I am ok with that. The technician informs me that my torsion bar bearing is showing signs of wear and should be replaced. I was quoted $80, which includes labor. Anyone can find a bearing for $10 or less. There is NO inherent labor associated with changing out the bearing when the spring is replaced. The bearing must come out and either the same one or a new one goes back in. Charging labor which balloons the bearing to $80 is dishonest and misleading. I can say the same thing about the cables. A pair of cables can be purchased for $20. I was quoted $220. There is absolutely minimum of additional work when replacing the springs already. Often times, the existing cable has to be reassembled. A quote of $90 was given to reprogram my garage door opener. I did it myself in less that one minute. The slogan of "Precision Door service a name you can trust" is far from the truth. I was in a bind due to my cars being stuck in my garage and not having a spring handy. If I have learned anything from this experience is to stay away from this company and have an extra spring or two handy (the replacement job is fairly simple) and do it yourself or hire a handy man. All I agreed to with the spring replacement job was the spring and the bearing. I regret agreeing to the bearing replacement as this item was way overpriced. In summary, this company's pricing structure is very disingenuous and misleading. I suspect the techs are trained to upsell knowing full well that pricing is bloated and they can't do anything about it. Shame on this company for likely upselling to many unsuspecting folks, many of whom may have a limited or fixed income.

Google5Randy Gonzalez came to my house yesterday after I called in the morning for service. He called 15 minutes before he arrived and was on time. Very nice and knowledgeable young man and he explained all he was doing and how the poison kills the termites. My garage door is over 20 years old and gave him a hard time. He worked very hard in the very hot garage but kept a friendly attitude and a smile. 5 STARS, awesome job, well done and works great.

BBB5***** came out on a Saturday morning to repair a broken spring on our door. He called and showed up early and ended up replacing all our hardware except for the door including replacing motor and chain drive with a belt drive. Door is super quiet and smooth. Programmed both our vehicles and was out in an hour and a half. Knowledgeable and polite. Can't say enough good things about *****. Would definitely use Precision Garage Door Service again.

Google5Called Precision on a Saturday, while out of town. Tenants had called with "urgent issues" with the garage door. Willow answered, scheduled Matt for later that day. Matt showed up, solved issue with tenant, then called me to suggest solution. Wow. Great service all the way around. Decided our unit needs a partial rebuild so we'll schedule that when we return. Highly recommend this company based on service so far and I haven't even paid them for anything yet. Update: Work completed. Fair price. Great communication, great work on a challenging rebuild. Again, can't say enough about Matt. He's a quality guy.

Yelp1I purchased a new garage door and garage door opener. It was quite a horrible journey. The installation was completed and when the technician left my garage had bolts, screws etc and items that could puncture a tire. The door made as much noise as the old door. After I complained they sent out another technician and I was told the first installation was less than correct. I was also told the technician would schedule an appointment to finish the molding on the door. After two weeks of no calls I called and finally was scheduled to fix the problem. The appointment was scheduled for Monday and I requested an AM appointment because in the afternoon I pickup children from school. Well the technician wasn't given this information and no one showed up in the morning. I was rescheduled for today and the same thing happened. When I arrived home this afternoon thank goodness I was home because the technician was installing the WRONG color molding. He came back this evening and couldn't complete the job because one of the pieces broke on the truck in the wind. They are supposed to arrive tomorrow morning. I am not holding my breath. This company has real problems with customer service, technical training and employees lack of professionalism!

Yelp5I had Percision assigned to me through my home warranty company so was wary as I hadn't used them before. AMAZING service. Superb communication. I didn't have to wait for the phone call to appointment - same day. My technician Abel was wonderful- called when he was an hour out from my home. On arrival evaluated the situation and has to relay to me that my home warranty ( American Shield) didn't cover broken springs . He gave me options to have him leave without repairs as they weren't covered . I asked him to give me a quote and he gave me three different cost options. He was honest in his appraisals and I never felt like I was getting bamboozled . He was considerate and had the job done within the estimated time he gave me. Gave me his business card and contact number as well as the 24 hr call number. So happy for a new contact !

BBB5Great service. Really nice technician. My husband is hearing impaired and ******* took extra time, and was so patient, in explaining what was needed. Replaced our 30 yr old **************** and door springs. Work was done quickly and everything clean up was perfect.

Yelp5I cannot say enough positive things about Koleton! My mother's home was one of the homes flooded in Orcutt this year, and the flood damaged the garage door. Koleton was able to refurbish the door so we were able to use it again while we repair her home. I know in the future we will need to replace the garage door and we definitely will do so through your company. Koleton was prompt, very knowledgeable, and very honest. He didn't mince words and was very straight forward. Thank you again for all your hard work.

Yelp5I highly recommend Precision Door for garage door needs. Their technician, Koleton Park, was nice and very knowledgeable. He gave me a reasonable estimate for replacement and quickly fixed my immediate problem. I was able to get a convenient appointment time so I didn't have to miss work and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful.

Yelp5John and Jake from Precision came out and repaired my garage door. They were both friendly, helpful and attentive. The pricing of the repair was reasonable and they were able to fix it on the spot. I also just really like the way Precision does business. Right before my service call I got a text that John was on the way including a picture of what he looked like. So I knew who was coming and when they would get here. Immediately after the service I was emailed the safety inspection, pre-signatures and I am sure the invoice will follow. I would definitely use Precision again and would ask for John and or Jake. Thanks!

Yelp5I had my garage door replaced with Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and had thee most professional and courteous experience that anyone could have asked for. Joe was prompt in showing up at the scheduled time, he communicated to me on what to expect and was able to complete the installation in a timely manner. It is rare to find a company that provides such a smooth process from the time I received my initial quote to the final completion. I truly appreciate his expertise and knowledge. Thank you all for your hard work! Will be recommending all my friends/family!
