They did a nice job. Services Rendered: They performed regular maintenance on our garage door and installed a seal.
I called Dirk, he said they were busy and couln't get to me 'til next week. After I explained my problem he said "how about tomorrow afternoon?". I told him I'd be home after 3pm, he said that'd be fine. Then due to a kid related schedule change, I called back the day of service to tell him I wouldn't be home 'til after 4pm and I understood if that was too late. He told me he'd make it work. He sent out his son Blake, who is a very intelligent hard working young man. He went right to work and had everything fixed in abut an hour, despite the tight working conditions due to a crowded garage. The final bill was $101.81 which included a $4.00 part, driving all the way out here( I live in the country), labor and tax. VERY IMPRESSED! Nice to see an old fashioned father and son type of business with a good business ethic. I'd use them again in a heartbeat! Services Rendered: The spring above the garage door broken, causing the door to get crooked in the tacks and not close. They fixed it.
Total lack of respect for my time. I took three hours vacation to drive back home from Los Alamos, where I work. I left 2:20p for a 3:30p appointment. I got a call from him that he cannot make the appointment only at 3:45p. It is true that when I made the appointment I suggested that he calls me when he leaves Los Alamos, where he had a job before mine. But when he did not call until 2:20p, I didn't want to be late for my appointment, so I left. In any case he should have called in the moment he realized that he cannot finish in time, not 15 minutes past the appointment time. Totally unprofessional. Services Rendered: Replace my garage door opener.
Half of metal part of the garage door flange was ripped off when a car backed into it. I was using duct tape to keep it attached to door. Called Dirk and explained situation and he sent someone out the next day who arrived on time as scheduled. Fixed the flange by pulling out rubber and screwing metal back into garage door and then expertly re-installed the rubber flange (with insulation) back. And readjusted the cost down because the job was much easier than what Dirk (owner) had thought it was gong to be based on my description. Couldn't be happier with promptness, service and honestly of the amount of work that was actually provided. Services Rendered: Reattached metal flange to bottom of garage door.
All of the people I interacted with from GaragePro were very professional and courteous. I did much of the pre-work consulting and then garage door and opener ordering with Dirk over the phone. He was always quick to reply, and the estimate that he gave me was, indeed, the final price. The two servicemen who came to actually install the new door and opener had to, of course, remove our old door and opener, and they did all of that in less time than they had predicted (it's been a while now, but it seems like it was less than an hour and a half), while still doing it in a professional, courteous, and neat manner. It's been several months now that we've been using the new door and opener, and there have been no problems whatsoever. I would use GaragePro again in a heartbeat. Services Rendered: Installed a new garage door and opener.
