12/19/23 update: I agreed to go ahead with their proposed install. Did not go as well as hoped but I upgraded to 2 stars because the thing is installed and appears to work. Issues: * No light bulb was installed. This proved to be a problem later. * I installed a light bulb but it did not work. Traced the problem to the center electrode of the lampholder being compressed. I bent it out and it now works. * When the installer initially wired up the opener he connected my old activation switch which was hard wired. Apparently he then realized that the new activation switch was "wireless" and instead of properly removing the old wires from the new opener he just snipped the wires and left them in place inside the housing of the new opener. * Installer did not properly install the shoulder bolt between the "curved door arm" and the existing fitting on the door. He left it loose enough so that the bolt threads would wear on the mounting hole rather than pivot properly on the smooth shoulder of the bolt. * Apparently the work planner did inform the installer that I also wanted him to clean, inspect, and lube the rollers, tracks, and hinges of the existing door. Kudos to the installer because he was able to accommodate this but it shows a lack of communication between management and the installer. * I received a perfunctory receipt via e-mail that did not include any detailed invoice or statement, just the bottom line amount paid.

After experiencing the service call, I am sold on the expertise, skill and competence of Overhead Doors (and they repair/install more than garage doors) we will continue to call them for any repairs or upgrades we might need until we purchase a new garage door from them. The professional who kindly greeted us and did the repairs, also made suggestions about how we might maintain and understand how automated garage doors work. We found that information very helpful and were happy to accept their fees. Good, honest, prompt work for a fair price.

This place is excellent! I called in the afternoon and they were able to give us a next day appointment to fix our garage door. Adrian did a great job repairing our garage door. He was quick, efficient, and professional. He immediately knew what was wrong and how to fix it. Adrian not only repaired the garage door but he did full maintenance on the track and all the parts of the door. No more squeaks, cracks, or pops. We feel like we have a brand new door! We highly recommend using Overhead Door Company!

Fernando from Overhead Door Company did a great job recently repairing our garage door. I made an appointment online, he showed up when he said he would and immediately diagnosed the problem. He fixed the door quickly, and was very professional and efficient in all respects. The door is as good as new. Strongly recommend using Overhead Door Company!!

Our garage door broke and I knew I needed to get a new one. Overhead door was THE brand I knew I could trust. Someone came over that day to give us a quote and we were on our way to getting a new door. I have ONE huge piece of feedback though: we were given a day that our door was supposed to be installed and we were not contacted to confirm that we were on the schedule for that day. I called to check, and sure enough we were not scheduled. However, they made room to get us in that day. Overhead door: please close the loop by confirming the schedule of installation for your valued customers! Thank you.

Once again Overhead Door of Santa Fe came to my home to repair my garage door. Total time from my initial call to this company and completion of the repair by Technician Ignacio was maybe 24 hours. Ignacio was knowledgeable, friendly, honest and finished the job in a timely manner. Cost: reasonable I'll continue to do business with this company!
