Google5Called for appt for garage door stuck on open. We knew what issue was as it was pretty obvious. Was pleasantly surprised that they came out next day. We had few parts replaced (door is 10 yrs old) which basically upgraded it which required coming back next day. It's better than ever! So very pleased with how quick the repair was AND they showed up when they said they would! Very professional!

Google2Scheduled an estimate. They failed to show up or even call. I doubt that they can be depended on if they can't even show up for the estimate. Against my better judgement, I contacted the company at the recommended phone number. Despite their lugubrious lamentations regarding errors in their process of scheduling, they did NOT follow up on scheduling another visit. What am I to think now that they have failed twice? Look elsewhere please. 12/19/23 update: I agreed to go ahead with their proposed install. Did not go as well as hoped but I upgraded to 2 stars because the thing is installed and appears to work. Issues: * No light bulb was installed. This proved to be a problem later. * I installed a light bulb but it did not work. Traced the problem to the center electrode of the lampholder being compressed. I bent it out and it now works. * When the installer initially wired up the opener he connected my old activation switch which was hard wired. Apparently he then realized that the new activation switch was "wireless" and instead of properly removing the old wires from the new opener he just snipped the wires and left them in place inside the housing of the new opener. * Installer did not properly install the shoulder bolt between the "curved door arm" and the existing fitting on the door. He left it loose enough so that the bolt threads would wear on the mounting hole rather than pivot properly on the smooth shoulder of the bolt. * Apparently the work planner did inform the installer that I also wanted him to clean, inspect, and lube the rollers, tracks, and hinges of the existing door. Kudos to the installer because he was able to accommodate this but it shows a lack of communication between management and the installer. * I received a perfunctory receipt via e-mail that did not include any detailed invoice or statement, just the bottom line amount paid.

Google5I work at Pete's place and they always do a fabulous job when fixing our front door. Alas I lost some invoices and needed them to settle the credit card billing. I called up and this wonderful calming voice came over the phone and helped me with absolutely everything. Alex Pruitt, you are a rockstar! So friendly and helpful. I've never had such wonderful customer service in my life. Alex deserve's a raise right now.

Google5Overhead door was great, same day service I had a replaced spring, new motor Wi-Fi capable, and a door that works! Very grateful for the gentleman and his great customer service. I felt bad because I didn't have cash to tip, but I will refer them to all friends and family.

Google5Excellent customer service ! The technician who installed door was very professional n explained the process of installing the door and he took pride in his work n customer interaction. He was all about safety n clean working area. I appreciate his honesty n answered any questions I had. This young man is instrumental to this company's growth. The door motor technician was professional n customer friendly. Overall service and purchase of our garage door is awesome highly recommend them . Robert Bailey

Google5One of the rollers for our garage door was off the track. I called Overhead Door for an appointment, and Fernando was the workman who came. He fixed the roller problem. Even better when my wife asked him about replacing the rubber seal at the corners of the door, which mice had chewed holes in, he pointed out they would just chew new ones, but there was better fix. This was to install stiff mouse-proof brushes at each corner which he did. The install looks great and more importantly, I can see how it will work. Turns out my neighbor across the street had the same fix done several years by Overhead Door and has been mouse free ever since. Price was reasonable ,and Fernando is polite, professional, and knows what he is doing. Totally pleased. Michael Hendrick

Google5Kudos Overhead! They did a great job installing our new garage door opener. Most importantly, they communicated with us about the job and scheduling and the tech was on time - he even called to let us know he would be 15 minutes late due to road construction. The tech inspected every component or the door and identified worn parts that needed to be replaced like the rollers and springs. Next, he tuned up the track alignment, door hinges, and roller attachments so everything worked just right. Then, after installing the new motor and drive, he put in weather stripping that was seamless to keep out all weather, dirt, and bugs. The tech was a true craftsman, took pride in his work, and did a great job. I learned about what to watch out for, when to call them back to prevent future problems, and trust this job was done the right way. Thank you Overhead.
