On a Saturday morning, a spring broke on our garage door, marooning one of our cars in our garage. First thing on Monday I called Hamon Overhead Door, whom we had service our door previously. I was overjoyed when they said they would get a service person out by that afternoon. At around 5:00, I got a call from John Hamon to say that his service person had been delayed on a previous job and that he himself would come instead to fix our door. About an hour later, John had expertly handled the repair, and we had our marooned car back. I consider that outstanding customer service. Thanks, John.

The technician was awesome. He was polite and highly competent. I also enjoyed speaking with him. The office staff is adequate. However, I did feel just a touch of aggression from them at times. I am always fair and balanced when writing these because I do not want to mislead anybody.

I was prepared to spend a lot of money on a new garage door, but they said we can fix your existing door for a fraction of the cost, and they did! How many companies do that these days?

so I've used hamon overhead doors for repairs and never had a problem, i always wondered why they have the trust to do the repairs and bill after the fact, sometimes weeks later. in my situation this time i had them replace my garage door opener because it was starting to have problems, I called hamon and had them replace it with the latest and greatest. i got the out the door price and told them to go for it, several weeks later got the bill from paso robles, because i guess that's where the billing comes out of and the rep I spoke to in 5 cities said she couldn't receive payments, so when I got the bill it was several hundreds more than originally quoted, i called at stated what I was originally quoted and given several B.S. excuses, I then received an updated bill that was over 30.00 the original. I just paid it but not happy. my suggestion is that if you use hamon, get the price quote in writing, because it will take time for them to get the bill to you and if you have it in writing, there will be no confusion

I sent a request for garage door repair through yelp and heard back promptly from J Hamon. He told me to call in to the office for a quote. I've called many times, however no one answers and the voicemail is full and not excepting new messages. I followed up another more messages on yelp and J told me that Greg would give me a call. Never heard back from Greg, and Jay has ghosted my inquiries for repair on Yelp since. Maybe you will have better luck than me, but I can't recommend.

These guys are on it. Greg was able to come out same day and fix my garage door that I busted, he was able to get it function properly and then came back a few days later to replace the panels I damaged. Great service! Great team!

Our garage door went to pieces yesterday! We called Hamon mid day, a kind woman took our information, and a repairman came out quickly to fix the door. Our repairman Mike was courteous and kind and to my amazement put our garage door back together quickly!! The door works better now than it has in years!! I am so impressed with Mike and the company. We will have him back soon to replace the opener and would recommend them VERY highly to anyone!!

Great service over the phone and they were willing to come right over to repair the broken spring. This was especially nice since the door had broken in the afternoon on Thanksgiving eve. I am very happy with the great repair and tune up along with honest advice and a price that was better than the competition who only had an appointment window four days later. Thank you!
