After looking for a reputable garage door repair business, I decided that Garage Doors over Charlotte seemed like a legit business. Every other garage door business had a ton of 5 star Google reviews...and it was obvious the reviews were 100% fake/bought. Not so with Garage Doors over Charlotte. They have an actual physical address, trucks emblazoned with their company name and their reviews were honest with a couple lukewarm posts (can't please everyone!) Marco came out and did an amazing job. My house is only 4 years old and the garage door was acting up. He quickly determined the garage door was installed by an inferior builder and nothing was level and within tolerances. He spent 1 hour and 45 minutes straightening out the previous installer's mess. He also replaced my keypad (it was in bad shape from Ian) and programmed my car's mirror remote which I could not figure out. And, he knows his stuff! He showed me everything that was wrong and offered solutions I could explore in the future. I mentioned I wanted service every 6 months and he said I only need a yearly checkup...so definitely an honest business. If you call and get the answering machine I'd recommend leaving a message. They seem to be pretty busy this time of year with all the snow birds visiting. Definitely a great experience, thank you Petra and Marco! - Geoffrey S. on Montego Lane :-)

Garage Doors over Charlotte replaced our opener. Marco was amazing. Petra graciously fit us into their busy schedule. There were other issues with the garage door and Marco took care of everything. They are a trustworthy and honest company.

I would definitely recommend garage doors over Port Charlotte to anyone. They had excellent customer service. I was able to pick out the door that I wanted . They were able to work with my insurance company and after the install everything worked perfect and looked wonderful.

Marcos and his Co-workers are spot on, my garage door was damaged by hurricane Ion. They are great at their craft and also from the community. I Purchased, my garage door from garage doors over Charlotte on the recommendation of one of my neighbors. I am very pleased with the whole process from the scheduling to the installation of the door. They were very direct, and very professional. Petra, one of the owners helped me get information from the permitting department about other work that I was having done. I highly recommend this company .

Marco was very professional and detail oriented. He did a very thorough job of checking EVERYTHING. He explained everything he did along the way. We had the bottom gasket replaced as well as the left and right cables. He then adjusted the springs and oiled everything. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend Garage Doors Over Charlotte and especially Marco!

My garage door was installed today and I am so completely impressed with the quality of the door and more importantly the excellent workmanship. The owner does the install with the help of another gentleman and this was not a simple replacement. He built a new frame and added more matching wood to the outside ensuring a tight seal to my house. He took the time to show me all the features, help me program the code to the outside keypad, and oiled everything up really well. He cleaned not only the door before leaving, but also left my garage and yard spotless. I also want to share that the owner's wife is a great communicator and completely pleasant to work with. She keeps you in the know! I, without hesitation, highly recommend Garage Doors Over Charlotte. This door was worth the wait!

Fantastic! Same day service. Arrived exactly when promised. Very knowledgeable and professional. Worked fast, paid close attention to all details, and safety conscious. Had all the professional tools and new parts on hand. After installation, checked for and made any needed adjustments to track, wheels, hinges, door opener chain, everything. I have used when needed Marco & Petra since they have owned the business & just like in the past this service was done just like I like my steak cooked, VERY WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as a rule I get 3-4 bids on everything, Marcos was first, before the others came in I gave the job to them based on my past dealings with them ,including the time & info he gave me at the time of the bid. My Garage door spring broke and we discovered it Saturday night at 11:30pm. I found this company on Angies list asking for a quote sometime after 12am. At 12:30am he responded he could fix it on Monday. Even arranged a time. Arriving ontime, he was very quick, professional, friendly and the owner! I definitely recommend them! We had this company install a new replacement double garage door, rails, springs, opener and all. If you want a neat job, let me tell you, the owner himself is the installer. His job was impeccably done with all wires laid flat with staples evenly spaced and door spotless when finished. He is from Switzerland and was a pleasure to deal with. He will come back for a free service check after a hundred or so cycles of the door to make sure there is no noise or squeaks after a break in period. The door goes up and down very near silent.
