Google5These guys are fantastic! Very knowledgeable and patient with my many questions. They did a great job and didn't try to up sell me which I really appreciate since I am on a budget. Definitely worth the money both for the product and the installation. I will spread the word to anyone needing the services they provide for sure!

Yelp2I called and was told someone (Craig, I think?) would call me back later that day. They didn't by the end of the day, so I called again just before 5 and was told they'd call me. They did eventually call later that night and said that they'd call me back the next day with prices. It's now a week later and I haven't heard from them. I just got off the phone with DistribuDoors, who told me that Doors West was just bought by a national chain and had previously been pretty decent. There's an obvious conflict of interest there, but the salespeople there were knowledgeable, polite, and helpful.

Google5We had a new garage door put in. Doors West was fast, friendly, professional, and they did a great job! The two technicians were wonderful! No mess left behind! My husband and I are very pleased! Highly recommended!

Yelp5We Used them previously many years ago- so when our door wouldn't close, we called them again. They were able to come on the same day. I was worried it would be exorbitant to fix. Our house builder used the cheapest door and supplies he could find, so I just expect everything will eventually need to be replaced. My husband spent all night trying to fix it and had to sleep in the garage to guard against any intruders. The next morning, my husband called Doors West and they came the same day. I was upstairs and I could hear the tech arrive in the garage below. Within minutes, I heard our garage door close. I was so relieved. A few minutes later, my husband came to tell me it was all fixed, in working order. We would eventually need to replace the whole spring thing, but the tech had fixed it so we could use it until then. To my relief, we were only charged $115. I would recommend them. Both times they have done great work, have been reliable and so reasonable.

Yelp5When the keypad for my garage door opener went out I decided it was time to replace the whole works on two doors. Should be an easy swap I figured, but nooooo... Turns out there a very close clearance for installation of new garage door openers. Time call in someone with expertise! I had worked with Doors West years ago at a different residence in a somewhat emergency situation (double size door came off the rails threatening to fall on my car), they were fast to respond on did great work so I once again called them. Quick response to come see exactly the situation, offered several solutions, work was done within the week. Love my new openers, especially that they have WiFi connectivity so I can open/close & monitor the doors anytime from anywhere, don't even need the remotes!

Yelp5Doors West was the original installer of my 22 y.o. garage door - this is the first time it needed fixing. Sent detailed info re garage door problem via email over the weekend when they normally are closed. Fast turnaround with a response and appointment when they opened up next working day. Based on door's symptoms, Mark gave me lots of info about the questions I had. Importantly the tech's truck is "fully" stocked with appropriate parts for same visit services. Scott arrived *exactly* on time for the scheduled appointment. After hearing my version of the symptoms that I listed in order of their inconvenience and he efficiently fixed all of them in a short amount of time. His years of experience as a tech/problem solver were obvious. Doors West is the go-to place for your honest, quality work.

Google5Garage door springs broke yesterday in the afternoon, called Doors West, which was highly recommended on NextDoor app for my area, and was told they can have a tech come out next day at 9am. Scott showed up, on time, and got right to work. He was fast and efficient, and the price is right. My door is so quiet, forgot how pleasant sounding it can be when it's working properly. I will recommend these guys to everyone, thanks for doing such an awesome job.

Google5Mark on the phone was patient & educated me on my garage door (I'm sure he's done it a million times, but was nice). They were able to get to my commercial garage door for repairs within a couple days, showed up when they said, and it cost what they said. I inquired about a couple extra possible repairs I thought I may need on other doors, & Scott (the repair tech), gave me good advice and options, instead of doing something for extra cost just because I asked. I've used them twice now.

Yelp5The Doors West crew was awesome from the inquiry to the repair(s). I asked them to quote my rental and my main property and they scheduled them on back to back days. Both were repairable and Scott knew just what was needed. Before repairing we went over the pros/cons of replacing vs repairing and I felt confident in his work. They got back to me the same day of the inquiry and 2 days later, I had two repaired doors and a fair price. I would highly recommend Doors West if you have any garage door needs.

Yelp5On Tuesday my garage door motor hums but no movement. Called several garage door service around my area. The first guy said he's busy until next week. I sent several request for quote with Yelp but no one replied. Yesterday afternoon I called Doors West and told the guy what I need and he gave me a quote and said he can have someone come the next day at 9 am. Took my info and that was that. This morning at 8:55 am I was going to call them just to confirm my appointment and the guy rolled up so I showed him what garage door system that I had bought and he said no problem. Took him 1.5 hours from start to finish, including the time he had to make a minor modification to the support bracket for the entire length was too long by 0.5". He also help me to set the remote keypad pin.

Yelp5My automatic garage door outside keypad worked when it felt like it, and it was feeling like it less and less. This went on for some time despite my changing the battery. I finally decided to have it looked at by a professional and set up an appt w/another well reviewed company. The guy arrived in an unmarked personal vehicle (which was a mess inside and out), no business card/official company documentation, no uniform and could produce no license when prompted for one. Got a BIG song, dance and attitude, so I promptly told him no service here, which created quite a kerfuffle. Contractors w/nothing to hide don't act like this. Found Doors West online, called for an appt and reached Bryce who was friendly, helpful (what a concept) and could get me right in. Scott arrived very timely on the appt day w/a genuine smile and listened intently to my dilemma. He clearly explained my options, set about replacing my keypad, lubed and serviced my system explaining all as he went. I'm hands on, so like to watch and understand the working parts of things in my home. He had NO issue w/that and took the time to help me understand the system. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, personable and clearly very WELL versed on garage door systems. He was efficient and done before I knew it. It's working better than new. If you have garage door related needs, Doors West is the place to call. What a delightful and pleasant experience. I've had many contractors in my home for other issues recently, and what a blessing it would be if they were all as well run, clear, knowledgeable and easy to work with as Doors West. THANK YOU Scott and team!!!!

Google5Mark was great to deal with. Got me done quickly and even did a temp repair when he found out the replacement door was gonna be a while. Which as it turned out he tracked one down and I didnt end up waiting at all really. James our installer did a spot on job as well. Perfect work and communication. Highly recommended.

Google5This company was the second company we called. The lady who answered the phone was really pleasant. We got an appointment for two days hence. The guy who came out (Scott) was prompt, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He was fast, efficient, and he had a great sense of humor. :-) We had two torsion springs replaced, we had the sprocket that drives the chain replaced (something the first company we called said couldn't be done!), and we had the outdoor pad reprogrammed (and Scott showed us how to do that ourselves). Plus, Scott lubricated the door's hinges. Our garage door practically purrs now. It's much more quiet than it was before, it closes more tightly than it ever did, the light on the box works (Scott tightened the bulb LOL), and .... THE PRICE WAS LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT THE OTHER COMPANY HAD QUOTED! Seriously. Doors West charged $433, and the other guys wanted almost $900. The other guys said the sprocket couldn't be replaced, that they'd have to replace the whole opener, but Doors West said they replace those sprockets all the time because it's a common part that wears out. I am very pleased with this company. It was a good experience from start to finish.

Yelp5Found out yesterday that our garage door cable was about to give out. Called and was greeted promptly and was given an appointment for today. Scott was even early, masked and was able to repair our 40+ Year old door in a timely manner. Very happy with the quick repair and the bill wasn't nearly as bad as I thought is was going to be! Thank you, Doors West!

Google5Doors West came in at a very competitive price and met the schedule we agreed to. The installers were prompt, courteous, professional and finished the job in the time they committed to. I am extremely pleased and would hire them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors. Great folks to work with.

Google5I had a spring break on my door and called around to a number of places. Scott was able to come out less than 24 hours later and replace them for me. Pricing was very reasonable compared to some other shops and the job was done quickly/professionally. I am very pleased and would recommend them highly.

Yelp4So one of our 2 springs broke and after talking to Bryce in dispatch, we got the technician coming out the next day to fix it. We only asked to replace one spring but the technician replaced both springs and charged us. After calling Doors West, Bryce was super friendly and refund us a check for the difference so we did not get charged for the 2nd spring. Great company, will definitely use them again.

Angi5Scheduling was flexible and met my needs. When the installer was running late I received a call 1+ hour in advance but was still able to have the work performed within an hour of the originally scheduled time. The work was fairly priced and James was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure quality work, fixing minor issues unrelated to the task at hand. All different forms of payment were accepted making my unplanned repair easy to settle. I highly recommend Doors West. Services Rendered: Garage door repair

Angi5They showed up on time and found a simple problem that was easily fixed. I did not have to replace the opener. I ended up paying a fraction of what I expected. I give these guys full marks for promptness, competence, and above all -- INTEGRITY. Services Rendered: I am selling my house and the garage door opener malfunctioned to the point of uselessness. I called these guys. When I told them the brand name of my opener, they said the company had been out of business for 20 years, and in all likelihood I would have to buy a new opener. OK, I said, Come take a look.

Angi5The evening that it happened, there was a big bang, and the cables along the sides of the door looked like they had had broken. We called Doors West immediately (they have a 24-hour emergency number) and were told that we would get a call around 8 am to schedule an appointment. A company rep did call and scheduled the repair appointment for that afternoon. Scott came out and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken spring. Within about 45 minutes, he had replaced the spring, reattached the cables, applied WD40 to all the moving parts, inspected the other doors, and tightened the chain on the opener for one of them. We appreciated his thoroughness (and his sense of humor). Services Rendered: Replacement of the garage door spring.

Angi5They gave us an accurate estimate over the phone, came when scheduled and fixed it efficiently. There was no up-selling and the price was quite reasonable. They charged under a hundred dollars for coming out and including a half hour of labor, and he fixed it in that time. We plan to make them our regular garage door maintenance company. Services Rendered: We called yesterday and they scheduled for today. This was our first time with this company, as our long-term, one-man garage door maintenance guy had retired. Our (very heavy) garage door was getting too heavy without the opener for us the last time the electricity went out, so we needed it checked to see if the springs needed tightening.

Angi5We were snowed in and the garage door stopped working in the up position with sub-freezing temps! We called, and they said it could just need a reset of the "eyes" (the safety beam to keep it from hitting children, etc), and gave us instructions both on how to close it and how to reset the "eyes." That was terrific, already.....they could have made a service call to do that and gotten paid. We tried it, and got the door down, but clearly the "eye" on one side was faulty. We called again and told them that we'd have to wait until the snow melted to get their truck up our long (100 ft), steep, snowy driveway. They said they would come (same day) and walk up! The technician did just that, and had to walk down and back up an extra time to get the part from the truck. They did not charge us extra for that, amazingly! We will certainly always call Doors West for garage door service---honest, competent, prompt, and clearly put the customer first. We're pleased!! Services Rendered: Garage door repair

Angi5For my older (1998) door opener, the service man had the correct gear assembly. He explained the options -- repair the existing or upgrade to a new unit. New unit transmitter was not compatible with my 2004 automobile's builtin sender. Chose repair. Works great. Reasonable price. Very nice representative. Services Rendered: Motor could be heard running, but door did not move.
