It's been a few weeks since Freedom did my garage door springs and I'm very pleased with the work. They are reasonably priced and very quick.
My Girlfriend looked at reviews for garage door repair... We chose to get a quote from Freedom, Even though they weren't able to make the original day and time, but came the very next day. Torre and his apprentice took a look at my garage door basically said the way it was originally installed was not the best, not trying to talk bad about someone else's work, told me what he could and how much better it would be. You could immediately tell he knew what he was talking about and not trying to oversell the project. He gave me a quote, it seemed reasonable to me I didn't get any other quotes just went with his service. And they even did the job on a Saturday that was more convenient for my schedule. My old garage door came off the track so I called Freedom Garage Door Services, and made an appointment to get an estimate. Some one was there the next day and not only gave me an estimate, but helped get the door closed until they could get out with the new one. My old opener still worked ok so he suggested we use it again to save money as well as a couple of other things. Couldn't be happier with my experience from Freedom Garage! Torre can out the next day after I called. He quickly discovered the springs he was replacing on my double door were the wrong specs for my door which is what caused the springs to break prematurely. He added the proper spec'd springs and now the door no longer creaks and moans with opening & closing. He was super thorough, quick and fairly priced. Totally recommended. Really responsive both to initial quote request and subsequent questions, efficient on site, punctual and friendly! Existing door spring failed and I needed the door fixed as soon as possible. I chose to get a new opener knowing I needed them out to do the repair anyway (the old one was many years old). They ran through the options for that by mail, arrived on time, looked at the setup, ran me through why they would not have done it that way and recommended a change to the design because of the door weight, to prevent a similar failure in the future. I agreed and they had it all done in 2 hours when i was expecting 3 - they had everything with them they needed even though the design changed. Unexpected repair costs are never fun but I felt like I got value for money: apart from quickly getting it working again, the new system is far quieter, I can open/close from anywhere if needed, and it should last many years. Torre was excellent. I had backed into my garage door two days before Christmas, and he came once to assess the damage and then again the day after Christmas to replace my panel. The garage door looks amazing, and even works better than before. He was affordable, prompt, and very nice. What a great garage door company, I highly recommend!
Quickly returned my call on a Monday morning. Scheduled to arrive around 4; but might be a bit early if that worked for me. That worked for me fine. Arrived around 345 pm, did an assessment of the problem, got right to work, knew exactly what needed to be done to fix my door. Had the job done in no time (busted spring), cleaned up no problem, charged a very reasonable price. Didn't try to upsell me on stuff I don't really need. Was very professional and competent. I can't think of a home repair or work with a contractor that was more efficient, or low stress. Nice work. Hopefully I won't need a new garage spring soon; but when I do I know who I'll call. Torre did an awesome job replacing my garage door opener. I went to Home Depot and their installs were 3 weeks out which I did not have that much time to wait. I purchased the opener and jumped on Yelp in search of an installer. I came across Freedom Garage Door Services. I called on a Sunday and was able to schedule for Tuesday. His pricing was actually cheaper then the big box stores. He arrived early and ready to work. He pointed out a few thing with my door and was able to fix those as well. The best part... he was fast. I was shocked at how fast he was. He is now on my list of go to people who I will refer to friends and family. I love supporting small businesses/ independently owned and operated businesses.
