Yelp5I had a broken spring on one side of my garage door the middle of January. They were able to fix my broken door spring the day after I called. They texted the time they were going to show up and they showed up on time. They were pretty quick in their work. It took an hour to replace both door springs. The installers did a good job. They came prepared. They cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable. Sound Door Services did good. I would recommend them.

I thought the price was reasonable. Sound Door Services did good. I would recommend them. Services Rendered: I had a broken spring on one side of my garage door the middle of January. They said it would be best to replace 2 new springs at the same time. My house is 1968 and it turns out the garage door is a lot heavier (more solid and thicker glass) than an average garage door and I had to have the next size bigger springs installed - which cost a little more than their initial quoted cost.

Yelp5I needed to replace springs on my garage door. Sound door service provided the most competent quote. Technician arrived in the time window specified and completed the job in less than an hour. This was 10 years ago to the month! I needed the same service again for the same garage door and of course I called them back and they did an excellent job again!

Sound Door, the vendor I ultimately selected, demonstrated directness, knowledge, and transparency during our interactions. The entire installation process was executed without any major incidents, except for a minor adjustment required to accommodate the low ceiling installation, which was resolved promptly. Overall, I highly recommend Jon's work.

Yelp5I was lucky enough to call Sound Door Services for a 2nd opinion on my noisy garage door. I wanted to have it checked before it stopped working altogether. Another company came and this happened: Called them and told them I had an issue with my garage door, that it was working but making a loud noise. Tech came promptly and the first words he said were, "Your door is broke(n)". He showed me a couple of small cracks in the exterior and a split between 2 panels. He did not inspect the interior at all. He called his boss and gave me a price of $2750.00 - $2200 for the door, $300 for the labor plus tax. I got a written estimate, thanked him and sent him off. I then called Sound Doors. They estimated that they would come around 1 - 3 pm, but actually showed up early. They inspected the door and told me that I had to replace 3 hinges. Total cost, $185.00. The work was done in about 15 minutes, and all is well. Whew! Thanks Sound Doors!

Yelp5Chris of Sound Door replaced an old garage door opener for us today. Great job, neat and professional. He asked for my opinion on all optional decisions (placement of light and control). He took time to explain and demonstrate all of the features of the new opener. I feel really confident in the quality of his work, and am very glad I hired Sound Door.

Angi5Jon Jacobs & the team at Sound Door Services were absolutely fantastic. We called / contacted them online, they were quick to schedule, had very fair pricing (in advance by phone & email), and emailed information with choices which suited our situation. Our door was very old and needed to be replaced. They were able to come quickly after the initial call to evaluate and measure for a new door. Much to our (very pleasant) surprise, when they came to measure for the new door, they quickly evaluated the old one, decided they could fix it, and saved us quite a bit of $. In the process, they have shown their integrity, customer service orientation, and have my loyalty.
