What a nice experience! Talked to a wonderful lady named Linda in the office. She recommended a service call to reconnect my garage door, checked everything out, and service it (door had come off the track). She sent a really nice technician- Eric. Within an hour of my call, my door was serviced and back on track! And at a fair "upfront" price, too. Called other companies - "free Estimates" but once they arrived it's always more pricey. I liked knowing the cost upfront. Thank you Contra Costa Door.

Outstanding after service (2001) installation. Have had one previous service call. This time I called since one of our springs failed and they were out within 24 hours of my call. They replaced both springs, old belt, lubricated, and tested. Very pleased with their product and service. Good value and local. Eric was our technician who was very professional and completed the job.

We've used Contra Costa Door to repair our garage door for a few years and have always been happy with the service they provide. We recently needed to have some larger repairs, so they were the obvious choice. Allen came out to take a look and let us know what our options were. He was very detailed, listened to my concerns, and gave me several proposals ranging from quick fixes all the way up to getting a new door. I greatly appreciated how there was no pressure to go for the most expensive option or trying to upsell me on other services. Everything was explained in detail, and he gave me the pros and cons of each approach. I wasn't put on the spot to make a decision, just given all of the information with a smile and a handshake. We ended up opting to get an entire new door, which also involved quite a bit of additional work around the jambs (old house problems). Jeff arrived right on time for the installation, along with another person (I forget your name, sorry! But you were great too!). They took exactly as long as they said they would, and did an extremely professional job. Jeff made sure to show me all the work that was done, and answered all of the questions I had. He also showed me how to maintain the door and keep it working in top condition. I especially liked the attention to detail, for example all the little wires had been stapled in perfectly straight lines and right angles, so it looks really clean and tidy. Everyone I've met or spoken to at Contra Costa Door has been friendly and professional. Hopefully with a nice new door I won't need to call them again for a long time, but if I ever need anything garage door related, they'll be my first and only call. Highly recommended!

I spoke with Kevin and told him my Lift-Master operator was doing nothing. We agreed because of the age of the operator a replacement made more sense than a repair. He quoted me an out the door price right over the phone. The technician installed the Model 84602 chain drive. I must say I am so impressed with the quiet operation. I have a two car garage with an old Craftsman chain drive operating that door. You really hear noise and vibration when this door is opening and closing. The Model 84602 is more akin to what a belt drive sounds like. You don't even hear it when you are out of the garage. The technician also fixed a small problem with the other door before he left. This was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this business establishment.

This company really came through today! My daughter had her garage door close on her car and within 2 hours of her calling CC Door for help, her car was out of the garage and the door was straightened and repaired! PJ, the technician, was kind, calm and knowledgeable and repaired the door quickly! He was awesome! We highly recommend this company! They really came through for us..... so grateful!

I was so impressed with the service provided today by Jose of Contra Costa Door, that I wanted to take a minute to share my experience in this review. Jose arrived right on time for the general service appointment on the garage door opener that Contra Costa Door installed 6 years ago. He was very professional and did an excellent job with the service which included replacement of my 6 year old backup battery, a safety inspection, lube, and spring tension tune up. He took the time to show me how to properly lube the door and even provided me with a complimentary can of spray lube. Everything from the booking of the appointment to the service provided was handled very well. I really appreciate that you get a live very helpful person when you call their number (not a recording). I highly recommend this company for any garage door opener needs. A++

Contra Costa Door has helped me at least three times in fixing or replacing motors and gears for our garage door (over 20 years). But the most recent problem looked hideous; the door ended up stuck half closed and at an angle. The next day I drove over to their office and described the problem. They scheduled Allen Bacon, one of their seasoned experts to come to our house the next day (today). I expected that he'd characterize the problem and send a team out in a day or two. No! He grabbed some tools, got on a ladder and fixed this horrible mess in an hour! When the door began running again, he worked with me to describe what conditions might have caused the problem (we just have to keep storage stuff out of the way of the mechanism. duh). While Allen was indeed a godsend, he is similar to the other people at CC Door. I've walked into their business with broken motor parts in hand. They always responded with enthusiasm and helpful hints. I wouldn't even _consider_ using another company.

Our garage door was not opening and Paul from Contra Costa Door came out within 2 days. A spring was broken and we decided to also get a new opener installed since we the current one was over 25 years old. The estimate was very fair. 2 days later Eric came out to install the new spring and opener, he was proficient and professional, and took time to walk us through how the system operated. Five stars across the board, and would give more if I could. These guys are as good as it gets. I contacted them for garage door opener servicing/replacement. From the phone call to line up the appointment to the completion of the service, the entire process was perfection. The communication was impeccable, they clearly explained everything and what was recommended. The installation and service was just as good, and they went above and beyond by reinforcing my garage door to improve its condition and make it last longer. The total price was a steal. Our old garage door broke down at the worst time -- construction was going on that made the garage the only useable entrance/exit. I called Contra Costa Door (Brian) late Friday afternoon, he understood the urgency of our situation, and he had an estimator at our home first thing Monday morning and an installer here first thing Tuesday morning. The new garage door is terrific -- it operates so smoothly and quietly that we can barely hear it working. But what really stands out with this company is their OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

Technician (Kent) came out to the job and repaired the garage door, we were up operating again within an hour. Unlike other companies, he did not try to immediately try to upsell, instead he said "let me look at it first before we go another direction". Kent had been doing this work for 40 plus years, he was professional and courteous and we were ultimately very happy. Contra Costa Door originally installed our garage door and have serviced it twice now in the last 20 years. I highly recommend them...

My HOA has been working with Contra Costa Door for many years. Owners are now required to take care of their own garages, so I've been calling Contra Costa Door myself. I've been very happy with them. Last night a spring broke. I asked for an appointment this afternoon and out they came and fixed it. Very personable worker (Jose) answered my questions and explained what he was doing. I'm very happy with their service.

Best customer service ALL THE WAY AROUND. It's obvious that Customer Service is their main concern. Had a broken spring on the door and Kevin schedule the work immediately. We just had our Garage door installed by Contra Costa Door- they were one of the most professional businesses we've ever dealt with! From the first time we called them for an estimate, to the installation, they were fabulous- showed up on time to see the door and give us an estimate, explained next steps and how long to order, when to expect, etc. We had called 2 other companies, but Contra Costa Door was the shiny star and was right in the same cost range as the other two. Jeff, the installer, came right on time, installed it and cleaned up the whole area in the garage after finishing, showed us how the door operated, and even showed us how to do the annual maintenance (oiling the hinges on the door panels) before he left. I would highly recommend Contra Costa Door to anyone thinking of getting their next garage door replaced- you won't be sorry!!!

They called prior to appointment time to say that they were running early. That was better for me so they came within 30 minutes of the call. They replaced the springs for our overhead garage door, completing the job within 30 minutes. The price was as quoted over the phone when setting the appointment. No problems, no hassles. My garage door stopped working on Saturday night. Contra Costa Doors originally installed the garage door in 2003, and it has worked very well for the last eleven years. I left a message with Contra Costa Doors on Saturday night to call me Monday to schedule an appointment. Rodger of Contra Cost Doors called me at 8:00 AM Monday and said a technician would come to the house about 10:00 AM. The technician arrived early, quickly diagnosed the problem, and replaced the springs of the door in about 40 minutes. Services Rendered: Replaced springs on garage door
