Yelp5My garage door won't close. So I texted Khoi (owner of 5 star) I took a video of what happened when I pressed the door opener and send over to him. He told me there is no need for him to come out, and he sent me a YouTube link showing me how to disengage my garage door and the opener. Viola! It worked!!! Very kind and honest man. Did not try to upsell me anything. I have used 5 star garage door several times before and will continue to do so. ALSO highly recommend it to anyone needing his service. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp5Called around 1000 am and scheduled between 2 to 3 pm. Tuan was here just after 2 pm and was finished within 25 minutes at the most. Springs replaced and they come with a 3 yr warranty. Would highly recommend.

Yelp5I had a broken spring and couldn't open or close my garage. I needed it fixed right away since I need to charge my electric car. I called and got an appt the next morning. They showed up on time and were very professional. They changed the spring and even tuned up my system. Now my garage is even more quiet then ever before.

Google5The most prompt and amazing service I've ever had. I called them on Tuesday at 3, technician came to my home the same day an hour later and arranged to come back to do the job the next day. He showed up on time, worked fast and I can not tell you how happy I am with the service. My garage door opens smoothly and quietly, I've got a new opener installed with all the bells and whistles. Very reasonably priced! technician Tuan was very polite and professional! I'll be using this company for all my real estate clients in the future! Thank you!

Yelp1Talked to Khoi -- the business owner who had installed the 2 garage openers a few years back-- on the phone about the problem with my Liftmaster. I told him it only moved a foot and then stopped. He gave me a quote of $600 to replace it. His repairman came and said it would cost $900! For $600, I would only get a Chamberlain opener. I told the repairman I also need a keypad. Another $75. Later I found out the repairman replaced my working Liftmaster keypad with a new Liftmaster keypad! He should have let me know my working Liftmaster keypad worked with the new opener and I don't need to spend another $75. I am not happy about its communication with me.

Yelp5In one phone call, they diagnosed the issue with my garage door (broken spring). They said they would come to replace the spring in 30 minutes, and sure enough the repairman showed up on time. The work was efficient, clean, and drama-free. They offer a 3 year warranty on the repair, and the over-the-phone price was honored. I am still impressed with the responsiveness, so two thumbs up.

Yelp5Replaced an old wood garage door with a new Amarr garage door. Tuan was very responsive to phone calls, came out within a few days to see old door and provide a quote. I recommend doing your homework on what door, style, color and window (optional) style you want so you can discuss when they arrive. We are very happy with the new door and motor. The whole process was very easy! Highly recommend!

Google5Amazing service. My garage door spring broke. They sent a technician out the next day. They said 9 am. He arrived 5 mins early. I had plans for 11am so needed the repair to be done before then. He finished the work in 32 mins. Amazing. Highly recommend.

Google5Yesterday, my garage door was not opening properly as the spring had broken. I called this company and they responded immediately, and had a technician arrive less than an hour later. Manny (the technician) promptly fixed the garage door and now it works great. Amazing service and expertise.

Google5Fast reliable service! They are quick to answer calls, questions and concerns. Tuan gave us an estimate and was super nice and informative of what would be done for a new install. The installers did an outstanding job. After the install, I had a concern about the railings being slanted and they came right out to check it out. Turns out, my garage floor isn't leveled properly and the railings are .

Google5I was in a bind and needed double garage door quickly. An initial discussion on the phone provided me with an estimate. The next day the estimator came out and made additional measurements, and we scheduled an install appointment 2 days later. The installation crew arrived on time and installed the garage quickly. The job was clean and professional. They explained the operation and cleaned up the work area prior to leaving. Throughout the entire process Five Star communicated every step of the process through email and over the phone. Communication is important and found that helpful. You know how some contractors or sales people leave you with that uncomfortable feeling (like you are being deceived). Five Star Garage wasn't like that. They were professional from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

Angi5Went great. JT was great. He looked like he'd had a long day and was still happy to explain the issue. Garage door was stuck open with cables dangling from another company's poor choice of bearings the week before. 5 star was fast, identified the issue right away and also diagnosed that the new spring noises were fixable with some wd40. viola, door is working great now with almost no noise for an old chain style opener. Google5We had a broken garage door spring that needed to be replaced. I called Five Star garage door service and talked to the owner, he gave me a quick estimate on the phone which was both accurate and very reasonable. He was also very flexible with my time schedule and could do it the same day. we set the time for 5:00 p.m. the next day and the crew arrived even 10 minutes early. they were courteous and professional, and the springs were replaced in less than 30 minutes. They answered all my questions and even checked/serviced/lubricated all other moving parts of the garage door. I will call them without hesitation if we have another issue with the garage door in the future. Thank you!

Angi5I called them at 6pm. Someone arrived at my house by 6:30pm and repaired within 15 minutes. Services Rendered: My garage broke. The screws came out of the bracket that pulled the door up. The bracket was busted.

Angi5I called around 10:00AM. They said they would be out "between 1 and 2". Jonathan called around 12:15 to say he was 20 min away. Angi5Khoi immediately provided a quote that was by far the cheapest for replacing the springs on my garage door. I ended up with 10 quotes and Khoi was $40 cheaper than the next quotes I received. I called at 3:30p and asked when he could be here thinking it would be earliest tomorrow; however, he surprised me and said he could be here between 5p and 6p. I took my dog for a walk (my wife was at home) and I was pleasantly surprised at 5:05p the job was already complete and he was packing up to leave. Phantastic service and value!
