Spoke to Dave K. In the main office on a Friday, about my garage issues. He helped me try to troubleshoot things to see if that would help. He never tried to sell me anything or pressure me to purchase anything. Long story short we needed a new garage unit. Ours was made in 1989 and we were definitely ready for an upgrade. Dave was able to schedule me in on that Monday. Edgar was our technician and he was awesome. Patient with all my questions and even noticed a broken latch thing on our garage door and was able to fix. Edgar connected our car's garage opener and all of the openers we had, to the new unit. We couldn't be happier w/our new garage. It's very high tech (well compared to our 1989 unit ), quiet, it has a camera and we can even open and close garage from our phones. My parents use R&S and so does my brother and his company. R&S has good prices, GREAT customer service and I will recommend Dave and his crew to all my friends and family.

Helping out my brother and sister-in-law we R&S was the only company we could find to come out and fix the garage door. It turns out not to be the spring, but the side cable so our technician, Victor saved the day and got the door working quickly.

Recently I had to replace my very old motorized security gate. A friend recommended R&S after using them on a garage door install. I contacted R&S (along with two other companies) to get quotes for the job. Mike arrived exactly on time to review the job. He was very professional, friendly and thorough. I received the proposal the following day as promised. R&S advised that the work would take 3-4 weeks to complete. The entire install was complete in 14 days. Joel and the installation crew arrived on time and did a terrific job. The quality of the gate is first rate and the Liftmaster install is very clean. I highly recommend R&S as a company that is very customer oriented, designs and installs quality products. They do what they say they will do.

I got their number from my neighbor. My garage wouldn't close and ended crooked, bent the garage door's frame and couple of wheels were off, when I called the operator understood the problem asap, dispatched and i got appt right away. The customer service was very helpful and the price was good too, the service was very fast and Edgar did an excellent job to fix my garage door, tighten loosen screws, fixed the remote, installed new rubber band underneath the garage door and checked everything few times to make sure work properly. I'll recommend R & S Garage Service.

I've had multi-year issues with my current gate, gate operator and gate company. Luckily I contacted R&S. Not only were they super easy to deal with on the phone, through the estimate and contract process, but on-site they were extremely amazing!! Normally I don't get too excited about this kind of stuff (spending money on a need, rather than a want), but I am this time. Joel and his crew did what I'll call a stellar engineered solution for our home. The gate operator, the security post, the tensioner, all the hand-crafted parts are simply professionally done, painted to match, and just look amazing. It all just works, works well, and is very attractive. Based on this experience, I highly recommend R&S.

TL;DR: R&S installed a new Wayne Dalton 8300 garage door and a Liftmaster 87504 opener during the holidays. Our old Genie powermax 1200 garage door opener shortened on a Sun. Dave K came out and did an estimate which was competive with what we have been offered by others. He even went out of his way to schedule us earlier to ensure we could get a new door installed during the holidays (instead of after). The installers Victor and Edgar finished their work in approximately 5 hours. After the work was done and the installers left I noticed the door was not aligned, see attached pictures. Edgar came a few days later and adjusted the door and cleaned up debris left from their initial job. All in all we are happy with the new quiet door. Thanks!

So I had a bit of an urgent situation with my garage door this morning. Without getting into details, the door came off the tracks (I am pleading my 5th Amendment rights here people). I called R & S and spoke to someone who made some schedule changes to fit me in. That was amazing right there; it was like my urgency was her urgency. Then, not even an hour later, Dave showed up on my driveway, ready to help fix the problem. And, fix it, he did! Very quickly too, I might add. He was polite, professional, and very generous with his time. If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. We have been using them for years and we have never been let down. They are reliable, affordable, EMPATHETIC (!!) and extremely professional.

Victor was great!!! He explained the whole process of repairing the broken spring of our garage door. He was so professional so I thought he might as well install new motors for us. Prompt and timely service! My 13 year old garage door opener was making a lot of noise when it was in use. It's Friday, about 10 AM, so I didn't know if I'd be able to get it serviced before the weekend. Called and spoke with Dave, the Manager, he scheduled me for the next service call with their technician in the field, Victor. Victor, shows up a little before 11 AM, promptly gets to work & determines what the problem was. Now the garage door opens and closes smooth a silk. Victor, patiently explains all of the potential future issues... no hard sell, just educating the consumer. I would definitely use R&S Erection again and give them my highest recommendation!

I am a very satisfied customer and would happily recommend their service to any of my friends. Recently panels on my garage door broke. Even though they were still in working condition, it was a matter of time before more pieces start to crack. I reached out to R&S for a consultation. Dave Kennedy came out, inspected the door, gave his recommendations for what is needed, and provided a quote within the morning. Dave was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly an expert in his field. I chose to proceed with R&S because Dave left a positive impression. The quote he was reasonable, especially considering their warranty. I wanted a local and a company that has been in service for a long time, and R&S has been in business for over 20 years. The installation was scheduled to be a week later. An installer named Edgar arrived at our door at precisely the scheduled time, and got the work done within hours. What I observed of Edgar is that he's just superb at what he does. He clearly has been doing this for years and knew exactly what to be done. He's efficient and professional. He's also accommodating because we were not sure about a few things and he just patiently worked with us to make them right. All together, a very positive experience. I want to compliment Edgar Sierra for today's garage door service. He arrived within the 2 hour window frame & politely called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He inspected our garage door, replaced the weather stripping, tested & serviced the door. He recommended replacing the rollers & explained the connectivity problems we were having with our remote controls. He also recommended the best light bulbs to install. We are very please with his services today.

My garage door would not close and the cable fell off. Initially, i called another vendor and they gave me quote to replace parts & springs. I got the reference of R&S Erection Company from my brother-in-law and i was surprised by the cost he was charged. I setup an appointment for today. Edgar from the company showed up promptly on time & looked at the issue. One of the main component, the spring was fine and he had to adjust the cables & do fine adjustments. He also suggested nylon rollers which essentially made the door close & open very smooth & quiet. Edgar is a knowledgeable technician who advised me with exactly the things needed to be done to fix the problem. No extra work. I paid much less and i am very happy with the service. Will definitely recommend this business.

After an initial scheduling snafu, things with R&S Erection went much better than I could have expected. The initial visit was for general maintenance on our 8 year old garage door. After a complete examination and much needed lube, the door opens almost silently. We were having difficulties with our remotes and they tried a number of solutions, all keeping in mind the need to manage costs. When it was clear that our only and best option was a new opener, they were quick to install (on my schedule), did a great job setting us up with new remotes and an external keypad, for an amazing cost - and gave us a credit for other things purchased along the way. Should we ever experience garage door issues again, this will be my one and only call for service. Thank you, R&S Erection for such a great job and outstanding customer service. Services Rendered: Exam and lube of existing garage door plus resolved an issue with spotty success (sometimes it worked, sometime is didn't) of our remotes. Installation of new garage door opener.
