Overall excellent experience. Called on a Sunday and scheduled an appointment next day. My technician was named Stephen. He called me 30 minutes out. Very professional and completed the work in under an hour. Cost was below average. Services Rendered: Replace garage door springs.
Wonderfully. Services Rendered: Great service. Came the same day I called. The workman explain the problem. Gave me a quote and immediately got to work. Would recommend to anyone. By the way he explained my problem and the way he answered my questions, I feel like I received an honest job. Thanks, Angie's list!
Have attempted to get a swinging gate serviced by this company 10+ times as they seem to be one of the only repair shops in town. Very nice to speak with over the phone but never show up. Services Rendered: No show
I thought I would only pay $100 per my American Home Shield plan, but they found a way to charge me more. Wasn't happy about that. Door was fixed properly though. Services Rendered: Replaced broken spring
They were prompt, quick and efficient. Very polite. Services Rendered: Put roller's back in place and greased rails. Checked operation to be sure it was working properly. Checked seal.
Extremely responsive! They were at my house within an hour of my call, and had the new springs installed within about 20 minutes. Very nice, and very personable. I will definitely use them next time the door needs servicing! Services Rendered: Replaced broken garage door springs, and tuned up two garage doors.
Mr. Walker was very personable and kept me informed when he would be coming by on the Saturday I called. No other garage-door opener companies returned my calls. Twin Cities Overhead Door, Inc. advertised for weekend assistance. I could not get my car out of the garage with the overhead door-track jammed, so it was important for me to have someone available on a weekend! He got my old door open and running fairly quickly, but as the opener was on its "last legs" after ~30 years' use, I gladly ordered a new one from Mr. Walker. The young men that came to install it were very professional, knowledgeable and fast! I appreciate their service and recommend them highly. Services Rendered: During a power outage, I manually put my garage door up with the pull-rope, but forgot how to properly position the manual rope-switch to pull it back down, so when the power came back on, the track on my 30-year-old opener jammed pretty badly! Mike Walker came out on a Saturday, when no other company returned my calls, got my track unjammed and showed me some tips to open and close the door manually while the new opener was being ordered. Mike's son Derrick and partner Steven came out the next week and installed my new, quiet opener very quickly, explained everything, reattached my loose rubber seal, and programmed my car opener, too.
They gave me wonderful information over the phone. They told us what not to do to make it hazardous to ourselves to not get it hurt. They went out of their way to provide information and help over the phone. They even offered to come over to the house. They were nice enough to do that, over and above. We talked about two or three times. They were just phenomenal in customer service. They come when they say, have a fair price and do the work perfect and quick. Services Rendered: I used Twin City Overhead Door Co for my aunt and uncles and the garage almost fell on me. I called them and they told me what to do and what not to do when it fell off the rail.
Called Twin Cities. The man that answered the phone was at some location where there was a lot of noise, so it was kind of difficult to communicate, but managed. When I explained what my garage door was doing, he knew immediately what the problem probably was. He took my number & address and said that he would have his son come by- I believe he said the next day- (don't think it was the same day). Waited a good portion of the day and finally called in the afternoon to see if he was still coming. He said his son would stop by on his way on his way home. The son, his young son, & another man finally came by at around 5:30 or 6 . Quickly got to work on the garage door, didn't waste a minute. Saw very quickly what the problem was. There was a part that was broken and needed to be replaced. While he was doing that, the other guy showed me the broken part and explained to me what it was. Once he had it all together, I paid him and he got in his truck to leave. When I hit the remote to put the door down it made a loud noise going down, so I stopped it & got his attention before he pulled out of the driveway. He came back and checked it out. The tension or something needed tightening. Once he did that, tried the door again and saw all was well, he then left. It has worked fine since the repair. I would have liked to have had an idea of when he would be coming- at least if it would be in the morning or afternoon instead of waiting not knowing what part of the day he would come. But I would call them again. I thought the price was reasonable, they were nice, and knew their business. Services Rendered: Replaced a part in my garage door opener
