Google5Randy and his crew do a great job. With the harsh weather lately I've had an older break a couple of times and they were very prompt on getting fixed. Excellent customer service.

Google1Had to get new opener rails and spring. Everything was great technician was great, got there on time , did great work. Then i got the bill its was atrocious. I've done a lot of remodeling business and have gotten what i did plus a new garage door for the same price. I guess you pay for responsiveness but if you have time for the money best to go a different route

Google1They convinced me I needed a whole new garage door which upon talking to another company in town realized I didn't need a new door, just a seal and bottom hardware. They tried to sell me. Ended up taking 1200 dollars from me and never delivered a garage door or any product. They are theives and they stole from me. Horrible people.

Google5I was STUCK in my car, could not get out. This man stopped, when several people did not, and helped me get out. Took 10-15 mins of his time. I'm willing to bet that if this level of care is given to a stranger, they will give OUTSTANDING service to you! Thank you again for your help!!!

Google1I originally didn't write anything on this post because I was forced to review this company if I wanted to "save" $40 dollars when they stole my money. Basically you pay THEM money to NOT write a review, that's why they have so many reviews. I didn't write anything on this post originally because the thought of reliving my experience with them was so traumatic. Their "repair" man came to my house when all I needed fixed was a spring and this man proceeded to break two other parts on my garage while he was here. The first time I was friendly and just said "things happen" but the second time I was very uncomfortable because I realized it was on purpose. This man came into my home while my husband wasn't here, broke my garage further and tried 3 times to upsell me on a new garage door. I originally assumed to fix a spring couldn't cost more than $130 because they had told me they could do it within an hour and springs at Lowe's are around $50. After all said and done this man DIDNT EVEN FIX MY GARAGE BECAUSE HE BROKE OTHER PIECES ON IT, tells me he can come back with a new rail and motor tomorrow but it would be another $200 and tells me my bill for the day is $780 and that they don't send invoices and I had to pay right then and there. So incredibly violating feeling. Of course I never called them to come back and my husband ended up fixing it himself for $40. I never got in contact with these scamming liars because I wanted to put the whole thing behind me and I just put my review as 1 star and no text. But since they have the audacity to come and reply to my months old review of them and comment "not valid" I only felt I should tell everyone the truth of how they are. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They force people to write reviews for them under the guise of "saving" money but you're really just paying them to not write a review. That's why they have so many reviews, it's not because they're actually a good company. They just understand how Google works. This company is so incredibly dishonest. Save yourself and find someone else to fix or replace your garage. And if you need further proof of how terrible the owner and employees are just see how they lie in all their replies to their unhappy customers in the reviews. That should tell you all you need to know. Why would I sit here and write out such a negative review if they did such great job? See if they try to invalidate me in a reply. Watch. As of right not all they have said is "not valid". Wait and see if they try to lie to everyone including me with another reply. Just know that anything else they write as a reply is a lie and they are TERRIBLE people here. You have been warned.

Google5Our garage door completely fell apart. We gave Siouxland Garage Door a call and they were in route to us almost instantly when it was convenient to us. Matt installed a new motor, rail, and all new buttons to make everything brand new for us. He did it very quickly and nicely. Would highly recommend Siouxland Garage Door to anybody with Garage Door needs!

Yelp1I had one broke spring they replaced both without asking $728.00 .I checked at Home Depot, Lowes and Menards you can buy the springs for less than $50.00 each what a rip off would use again.

Google5When one of our garage doors would not open I called with my problem and within two hours Matt arrived at our home. He assessed the problem and he went over what needed to be done and the cost. He answered all our questions and told us the cost and wrote up a work order. He returned widen the parts were in and made all the repairs. We couldn't have asked for better service as well as making us comfortable by answering all our questions. We will highly recommend your business to others. Thank you Matt and Siouxland Garage for doing a great job and taking a big worry out of our hands. I'm

Google2I hesitate to write a negative review, but as the business failed to call regarding questions regarding billing, I decided to share our experience. **Note: we requested a call and were told we would receive one by the woman who answers calls. However, no call day of or day following service (repair done at 9:30 a.m.). I anticipate a lengthy response below from the company as this seems to be the common practice when someone posts less than satisfied experiences with the company. We purchased two doors from this company 3 years ago. That experience was great. Calls returned, pricing explained thoroughly, and installation done in timely manner. Recently, the door they recommended and installed breaks. I call, they send someone out two hours later and the technician determines according to the billing a strut repair(149$). "Reset" (125$), Labor (120$), Travel (79$), taxes and total comes to $506. Travel cost is what it is(we live 7 miles from Sioux City), and labor is what it is for 30 minutes of work. However, we requested to speak to someone regarding the strut and reset charge just for clarification, and no call returned. The bill was not explained on site, and payment is expected on site. Be aware and note that you may want to have all the anticipated costs explained to you before they begin repairs.

Yelp2Just beware that this company does not give free quotes like other companies in town. They may talk to you about an estimate, but it's not free. My tech, after five minutes and no sale, demanded payment for a service call. This was clearly a miscommunication, and these things happen, but I'm out $40 unless I want to buy something from them now. This all happened after they set up a Sunday afternoon appointment (I didn't ask for that, they suggested) and then they didn't show. Again, things happen, but I'm definitely going with a different company.

Yelp1On Chirstmas Eve morning in 2014 I was going to work and my garage door wouldn't open. Turns out both springs had broken during the night. Called ACS as they had a nice looking ad and emergency service. The guy came out and quoted me around $400 as he needs to replace the whole system that the springs are on, I said go ahead as I needed my car out of the garage. Then he tells me he also needs to replace the end bearings which would be an additional $90. I said ok. He tried to get me to also replace the rollers, but I said no as the price was getting up there too high. After he finished he told me I owed $627.27. I said I though it was around $500, he said there's labor and tax. I thought the price included the labor, but went ahead and paid. Then yesterday my door got stuck, so called Dan's Overhead Doors. He told me the problem was because the springs are the wrong size. I got out the work order from before and he went ballistic because not only were they the wrong size, they were not the ones sstated on the work order and one was used (which he mentioned right off the bat). He then told me they would have just replaced the springs and it would have been fine, but if they did the same as ACS the charge would have been under $400. So DON'T ever call ACS for anything!
