I hesitate to write a negative review, but as the business failed to call regarding questions regarding billing, I decided to share our experience. **Note: we requested a call and were told we would receive one by the woman who answers calls. However, no call day of or day following service (repair done at 9:30 a.m.). I anticipate a lengthy response below from the company as this seems to be the common practice when someone posts less than satisfied experiences with the company.
We purchased two doors from this company 3 years ago. That experience was great. Calls returned, pricing explained thoroughly, and installation done in timely manner.
Recently, the door they recommended and installed breaks. I call, they send someone out two hours later and the technician determines according to the billing a strut repair(149$). "Reset" (125$), Labor (120$), Travel (79$), taxes and total comes to $506. Travel cost is what it is(we live 7 miles from Sioux City), and labor is what it is for 30 minutes of work. However, we requested to speak to someone regarding the strut and reset charge just for clarification, and no call returned.
The bill was not explained on site, and payment is expected on site. Be aware and note that you may want to have all the anticipated costs explained to you before they begin repairs.
