Andy Ginter from Precision Door was the technician that came to repair my garage door. He was friendly, polite, informative, and professional. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful in deciding what repairs should be done. Services Rendered: Replaced the springs, bearings and rollers. Lubricated where necessary.

Tyler Williams was our tech and did a great job. He was here Dec 26th. He was polite and caring and helpful . We had two panels that needed replacing and Jacob Lindsey came out and installed them on Jan. 24th. He was a great young man too..

YES! they were very good 👍 MY Technician Jon Seman was most attentive and understood the problem I was having. Services Rendered: My garage door has to be rebooted due to a power failure 2 days prior. The door would go up and then back down repeatedly. It couldn't remember to stay down

Excellent customer service!! We've lived for 4 years with a screeching garage door and told each other we need to get it fixed. Saw Precison Door's commercial last night and they came this morning and repaired the door in less than 90 minutes! Andy was very professional, knowledgeable and even got us a discount!!

Called in the morning around 8:30, and they were at the house about 1 & 1/2 - 2 hours later to repair some cables. The job was done in 30 minutes. Gavin did the repair & he was very nice and professional. Job is a little pricey, but the timeliness, communication, professional work, and peace of mind are worth it. I will only call this company. Over priced compared to competitors. Will give you a price reduction on repairs if you decline all quotes and tell them to leave. Or tell the tech to "call the boss and see what he can do on price"

It's difficult moving here from another state and finding new business's for repairs or problems. But with this company I got lucky. Knowledgeable, on time, upfront estimates, and a guy who knew his job well. I highly recommend this company if you have any garage door issues. 10 star company.

The Precision Door technicians, Pete and Tyler, arrived on time and were very cordial and professional. They explained what they would be doing (replacing garage door and tracks) and gave an approximate time when they would finish. They went right to work and completed the job perfectly! The new door is beautiful and I love it! Before they left they showed me how, where and how often we should lubricate the parts of the door. I really enjoyed meeting these young men them and wish them every success!

If you have money to throw around, Precision I'm sure does a good job at repairing garage doors. I am giving 2 stars because of the professionalism of the service repairman, and the swiftness with which they were able to do the job. However, I chose not to have Precision repair our garage door as they lowest quote they gave was $833!!! I was FLOORED. We have a 2 car garage and our springs broke. I called around to a few different spots and found a reputable garage door business to do the job for $400. They said they were aware of Precisions pricing and said, "Precision pretty much throws out a ridiculous number to see if it will stick." I am honestly very disappointed; the whole experience felt predatory and greedy. My husband used to be a roofer, and he always gave extremes fair prices because he is a good man with integrity. These poor people would call him at their wits end after being told the quote to do their roof would be $15k-$25k+. The most my husband has ever charged was $11k... obviously there's a lot that goes into pricing-- but the point is, price gouging people ESPECIALLY in this economy where things seem to be a struggle for most is cruel. The repairmen was kind, but I have no respect for this business. I will never have them quote us again, and I will never recommend their services.

TLDR - Prices seem high; Shop around; Quality of work good;. I never received a follow-up from vendor as stated in their response. I don't expect a reduced price. My comment is just for others awareness. The professionalism, same-day appointment and quality of repair were good. The primary issue is the price. In my situation, the garage door torsion spring broke. After a safety inspection, I was told that my pulleys and cables required replacement. In addition, my original spring configuration was inadequate for my door size, so an additional spring was required. I was told a lesser repair was not possible due to safety (Something, I cannot verify as a consumer). The Home Depot price for DIY parts was approximately $200 (e.g. 1 Spring Precision: $253; Home Depot $85). The Precision Door repair bill was approximately $900 and took the technician about an hour to complete. Due to my door condition, I was told a warranty would be 90 days if I did replaced the cables (which I did not). I did the bare minimum and have no warranty due to my door condition. The markup was high and I can't verify whether the work was required. Next time, I would deal with the inconvenience of a broken garage door and get multiple quotes (or DIY it). My garage doors will need replacement due to lack of insulation and age (including the springs from this repair) in the next couple years. I can't afford to have Precision Door complete the work.

Our technician, Andy, came out to the house as promised. Found the issues with the garage doors quickly and said he would get needed parts ordered. He also helped me get onto an app that will allow us to open the doors with our phones and view through a camera. He was professional, very friendly and very competent. absolute crooks! tried to tell me 400$ for a simple cable issue that takes 5 min to fix with simple tools, my usual guy was on vacation and i couldn't wait a week so i thought id give them a try. stay away...as soon as i told him to leave because of his quote he cut the quote in half. absolute liars and crooks. stay away!
