I've worked in construction busy for over 30 years and have experienced a lot of different garage door companies, personally and for other home owners and Courtesy Door Sales and Service are the best. They come when they are called and fix and repair what's needed. Call for new doors and repairs you won't regret it!!

This experience was not good. It started off ok with picking the doors and arranging the service. They were paid for the work and we never had an issue with our end. I was quite irate when I came home on installation day and the workers had used our ladder. I found that odd and even more so they did not ask. They also had decorative hardware that was needed to be placed but at time of install they did not tel us that. So it had to be arranged through the contractor. Again, communication issue. I was irate about the ladder but since the top panel at time of install needed to be replaced due to a manufacturing warp I was afraid to push the issue. Today, they came back to replace the panel. They called us yesterday. LAST MINUTE. I was ready to be compliant and make this finish up no issue when the workers brought a CHILD with them. This garage door company is not professional. I also wanted tinted windows and those were wrong. Final product has no tint. the lady who answers the phone is difficult to speak with and wants to use email but doesn't respond quickly so it made it hard to want to try to resolve this. Based on how poorly they handle their customer service, I am not willing to fight this out. We have had zero issues with the rest of the process of our home remodel and when I ran int small issues the rest of the contractors were fantastic. They also did not try to GASLIGHT me when I told them that using customer equipment is a violation of my trust as a customer. (Tornado hit our house 03-31-23) Maybe not everyone gets this type of lack of communication but I don't trust this company and I am less than impressed with their customer service. They get 1 start for professionalism. Quality of the doors is good, they use raynor. But, we had to fix the sensors because they didn't line up correctly after initial installation. The doors seem tight and we had them inspected so job was not a total failure. I confronted the employee today with the child and he is the owner. I told him to have a small child 8 or 9 come is not okay after the issue of them using my equipment without permission. He told me he thinks it's fine to use homeowners items because they didn't bring a tall enough ladder for the job.. Don't show up with a kid. I didn't pay for an 8 year old's services. I understand a teenager who is legally of working age. This is a business that you own and you need to act professionally. Bottom line: I DO NOT RECOMMEND COURTESY DOOR.

Had the door fixed a year ago and now won't open again the week we are moving. Basically refusing to help and wished us the best. Way to leave a customer stranded.

Got a quote for fixing garage door mechanism and installing a garage door opener. Quote was for $500 including $285 for the actual opener plus labor. I could have purchased the same opener at Lowe's for $150, but I was okay with that. However I got home just as he was finishing the install a few days after the quote and he had powered the opener with my 50' extension cord I had laying in the garage. He ran it from the outlet about 15 feet away across the floor then straight up to the opener! I asked why this was powered like that. He said I have to get someone to put in an outlet near the opener. I asked why he didn't mention that in the quote and he said he didn't notice it when he checked it out for my quote. I told him that my only other quote was for $500 also but included the install of the outlet. He didn't have anything to say about that but I was ticked. I emailed courtesy door (replied to their email that had the invoice) expressing my displeasure, but they never replied back. Definitely not happy with the unprofessional installation and I won't be back to them again.

I am extremely pleased with not only the quality of the garage doors I bought, but the excellent service I received as well. I was going to purchase a garage door from the local lumberyard, but decided to give these guys a shot. After looking at some samples in their office, it was clear as day that a little research can go a long way. You truly do get what you pay for, and I received more than expected with Courtesy Door.
