Garage doors used to be tucked behind of the back side of your house open and closed just for some storage - now they tend to be the main focal point on the front of your house and often open and closed more than your front door! The doors are the Wow Factor that everyone first sees now! The sales team is all about education. What are you actually buying?! What are they selling vs. they're competition?! R value, windows/insulated windows, panel gauges, thermal breaks, wind ratings, different opener options. That's just a few of the topics Tom, Josh and the rest of the team will educate you about while searching for your new overhead door! The education they give you about the products they offer will give you an understanding that these guys know doors - these guys have found the absolute best vendors to partner with to give us the best overhead door for our properties. The face of the company - the guys you see on the job site are some of the best around. Every job has its obstacles - but American door works has found the guys with the know how to get the job done!! I buy a ton of overhead doors a year. We see it all - doors don't arrive when they should, damaged panels from the vendor, warranty issues, etc. Everyone has them. How you get taken care of after the issue is what sets these guys apart from the rest! Always a pleasure start to finish and many years down the road!
Excellent service and quick response time. Our poorly aligned garage doors were repaired and bottom seal replaced. What a difference it makes to have the openers functioning correctly! Technician was on time and friendly. Highly recommend!

The sales staff and management were good to work with but the on-site installers were terrible. I was replacing a 44 year old door and the first thing the installer said to me was my door was "cobbled together and unsafe" and proceeded the lecture me on how I could have been injured having done the adjustments I did! I built this house myself so this isn't my first rodeo! Then they advised that the door opener didn't work. It had worked everyday since it was installed including the morning they came when I opened it to back the vehicles out before they came. They swore they did not disable it but after I tried everything including test power at wall button, testing remotes, checking circuit board for shorts, checking power to the opener, nothing resolved it. They offered to come back and trouble shoot it but the service person (not install crew) was worthless and didn't know anything about how to fix it, so I ended up buying a new opener! The installers also advised they would not be able to install the door to close completely as the concrete block foundation interferes with the track location. The existing door install had the block removed for that track. When I told them to remove more of the concrete block, they said they don't do concrete work so I took a hammer and chisel and with about 2 minutes of work had enough of the block protruding into the tract area removed! They finished the job and left. I complained to management and was told they were aware of the issues but made no adjustment to the price for all of the problems the installers caused!
Highly recommend if you need a garage door. Outstanding in all areas from sales through installation.

I had a minor warranty issue with an installation from last fall which is not uncommon when building a home and all the other projects and activity going on at the same time. Bryan came out today and repaired the issue but also went over the entire install making sure everything was perfect. It's not always about having an issue, it's about how a company responds to those issues and between Bryan and American Door Works, I couldn't be more pleased.
