Saturday afternoon discovered spring broken on garage door. Can't open door. Can't get car out of garage. Called Banko. Answered on first ring. Said on duty tech would call within 30 minutes. Tech, Brent, called in 5 minutes. Said he would arrive by 5:30. Arrived at 4:30, hooray! Was professional, knowable and fast. Brent had the spring replaced and my garage door working properly and more quietly than before in less than an hour. Gave me some good advice to boot. Price was reasonable for emergency service on Saturday evening. Highly recommended. Thanks Brent.

Banko came out to replace a broken spring on my double garage door. The technician really knew his profession and just what to do to repair it properly. He reset the door opener forces for the new springs and lubed the hinges on the door and made sure the door opened and closed perfectly. The price quoted included everything, parts labor, and taxes. It's warranted for 3 years. I'm very happy with the experience.
Still have excessive opening force detected message om my keypad. Still hear explosive sound when door opens. Belt drive mechanism still bends and snaps back when door opens. I have been waiting for your solution for over year.
Due to an unforeseen obstacle during installation Banko Overhead Doors was more than professional with outstanding customer service. Not once did they make this "my problem". They worked through various options with me, and in the end, even though it took more time away from them, they made sure I had a perfect product. Banko completely stands behind their product and their word. They did not consider this project complete until it was done right, and that I was a satisfied customer. This level of customer service not only stemmed from the owners; but the service manager and the Install technicians. You can tell that they take pride in their work and value their customers. I feel 100% comfortable referring family, friends, neighbors, or others to Banko Overhead Doors.
Garage doors seem to break at the most inconvenient times but fortunately Banko "saved the day" for me! My phone call was answered promptly and they were able to set up an appointment within the hour. The service technician, Ryan Lee, showed up early. He was very professionally, courteous and friendly . He quickly assessed the situation and explained the repairs he would be doing. He was very thorough and took the time to answer my questions. He also insured the door was working properly before leaving and explained their 30 day guarantee policy. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Ryan and Banko Doors.
Top notch service! Before Christmas one of our extension springs broke so we called a local company to replace them on both sides. We were told "they don't make those springs anymore". And that someone would come out for a quote to fix it. Later that afternoon we were told the front of the shed was out of code and everything would need a total rebuild $5000-$7000, that did not include a replacement door and track. We asked around and were told about Banko. Ryan was here the next day and fast and very reasonable. Please call them for all your overhead door needs!
This is the same company that performed the garage door installation,at my home. Our neighbor had a service call & was truly happy with the springs repair. Reasonable price which was more the reason I called them for my need. Dan was the technician, who arrived & after reviewing my springs, he said they were still fine & needed no adjustment, at which originally, I thought they did. They are extremely honest which is the reason I will call them for future needs as well as the reason I very highly recommend them for you. So if you have an issue with your garage door, look no more.
Paul with Banko was prompt, professional, knowledgeable & fantastic to work with today!! I had called another garage company for a spring repair. They couldn't come out for 10 days. Paid over $6K for a garage door and new opener only to be told that garage door opener does not work and someone will have to come back out to repair it. Very disappointed about this. I am hoping they will send someone out quickly to fix this issue. Will gladly update this review upon (prompt) completion of this job. UPDATE-11/27/23 Banko returned and replaced the motor. So far it is working well. I have received many compliments on the door.
This morning, Saturday, the 2nd of September, around 11:30 am, our right garage door spring broke. I used Banko several years ago when we lived in Parrish, and they did a great job then. I called and scheduled a technician to come as soon as possible and within 2 hours both our springs were replaced at a great price and Paul, the technician, was great. Thanks for a wonderful job and we have scheduled for an appointment for a hurricane garage door in a couple weeks. This company was honest and no gimmicks and the quote given was the price when the job was completed. Followup....October 31st we had our new hurricane overhead garage installed and in less than 3 hours it was installed!!! Excellent service, installation, time, cost and the two technicians that I can't remember their names were very professional and courteous! No head banging or profane music, just smooth and pleasant work...thanks for everything!!'
Just had a new Clopay hurricane and impact rated Windcode 8 Classisc Steel garage door and a new Liftmaster garage door opener installed by Banko Overhead Doors. The entire process from the free estimate, to working with the office personnel, to working around our schedule to have the door and opener installed, to the installation itself was friendly and professional. Appointments were made and kept, communications were great. Everything was installed by Robert and his partner in less than 4 hours and was done well and with care. No more attaching upright support poles to the garage door in a hot, crowded space with body aching and sweating my head off. Now I just need to close the door and engage the 2 slide locks and that's it. The new door adds a lot of peace of mind with its safety features and looks great as well. This is a good investment in not only the safety factor but in added value to the house overall. We are very happy we chose Banko Overhead Doors for this project.

I had Banko come out and "tune-up" my garage door on June 22nd. They changed all the rollers, adjusted the springs, and I think, lubed all the hinge points, although I didn't see him do that and there's no evidence of lubrication on the hinges. Anyway, today is July 31st. I called Banko to see if they could come back and check the spring tension because I think it's low. The brand new Chamberlain opener sometimes reverses during closing. With the opener disconnected, the door feels very heavy and does not "balance" at the midway point like the Banko guy said it should when he was here in June. I called Banko this morning and was told that they guarantee their work for 30 days and since I'm now at day 39. They would NOT come out to adjust my spring tension without charging me. I'm not happy.
Professional, prompt and did a great job. Coincidentally after calling them I found out they were the original installers of the door and system when the house was built. Very happy with the repair. I will be calling them again when needed.

I searched for a good garage door contractor. We needed someone that would seal a new air right garage install. Banko did an excellent job on my 1960s home. Garage door is super quiet and nothing can get into the garage. I was having a rodent problem and needed to get the garage door done to prevent pests from coming in. Thank you Banko!
I contacted them directly via Yelp. They called and said a salesperson would call the next day. I never heard back from them. That was a couple weeks ago. I went with Precision and had a great experience
After a shockingly high quote from another national garage door company, Banko sent a tech that replaced both torsion springs for 335 + tax. Also lubricated and adjusted door. Very pleased. I ordered a hurricane impact garage door and new motor in January however it did take a little longer than the norm due to the Covid year. Once my door had arrived they contacted me for installation. The door was installed within six hours. Very satisfied with his work and new garage door and motor.

I ordered service to repair my door. I took a few minutes to answer the door the technician was in my driveway and we talked for 20 min and he very disrespectfully refused to repair my door. He was vulgar, disrespectful and I felt overall accosted . I am not sure what his problem was but it could have been drugs. He was smoking something. Horrible service. Avoid this door company and shop elsewhere. Why you should hire this company? 1. You don't value your time and like to make multiple appointments. 2. You love your mechanic and want to give him some work to replace the tires that pick up the screws these guys leave behind. 3. You like a loud garage door that squeaks and creaks. Banko was the subcontractor hired by our home builder, Taylor Morrison. They installed a dented door panel and after 6 follow up appointments they still have not fixed the door. They usually will waste your time with a 4 hour appointment window. If you do decide hire them you should set your expectations VERY low. There will likely be a 90% chance they show up with the wrong parts, damaged replacement parts or no parts because they weren't told what the problem is. If the 10% chance that they show up with the proper parts you can expect an 80% chance they will cause further damage and a 95% chance they will leave screws all over your garage floor because they just don't care enough to do the job right. The last appointment. The 6th appointment was supposedly with their expert. I expected a small crew of at least 2 like they have always sent. I should have realized nothing would get done when this expert showed up by himself with no parts. Evidently they didn't feel the need to inform him of the previous 5 appointments or that they agreed to replace certain parts to make the door operate correctly. Would like to take this time for a Big Thank You to Banko Overhead Doors, Inc. , for their great service and concern for my safety. Last night while opening my garage door I heard the loud sound. The garage door opener came lose from the ceiling (9 years old hanging by one screw). Immediately call Banko. They had their service technician “Anthony” here within an hour to repair and service the garage door opener. It was getting late and dark and was concern about my safety as the door could not close. In the future I will take time to service my door on time, Thank you again Anthony and Banko. Services Rendered: Secured garage door opener bracket to the ceiling, replacing with new screws.

He noted that 2 of the garage doors needed their springs adjusted, and did so, in addition to providing routine lubrication of the equipment of 3 garage doors. Scheduled installation of new garage door opener. Told I had to have a 10 Ft area clear for installation in garage. Was storing furniture for son. Had to move couches, chairs, lazyboy, boxes, and tables to driveway and inside house to accommodate Banko. The day of the installation they called and said they did not have the opener and needed to reschedule. I told them that was not acceptable. They offered no alternatives. I suggested buying the opener from another vendor and coming out same day. No response. They said the opener would not arrive until later today. I said the opener needs to be installed same day. They offered nothing and asked again about installing the next day. I would not ever use this company again. Services Rendered: Needed garage door opener replaced

Cannot say enough good things about Banko. Setting the appointment for the estimate was easy. Theresa was SUPER professional and knowledgeable and I really was impressed. She called a day earlier to confirm and change a time and called when he was on the way. She answered all my questions and BANKO is lucky to have her as the first face to meet for this company. I had another large company set up for estimate and my experience with the sales person was awful..she was running hours late did not call so I just cancelled.
