Yelp3Cost for assessment is $55. You pay the $55 toward the repair or just $55 for them to tell you what was wrong and not do any work recommended. My sensor was bad. So I thought how expensive could that be so Iasked what is the cost. He said door sensor was $169 - cost on Amazon was around $35-$45 tops. I asked why such a high mark up and he said that included the cost for their insurance fees it takes to run the business. You must pay for an hrs worth of work even if the job takes less then 25 mins to do. Labor cost per hr is $162. Then he said said there is an extra $13 charge for processing fee of the credit card or you can write a check. The average processing fee highest rate is 3.5 %. The guy was nice, he did a good job. I paid the money. I just think you should know going in the high mark up charges the customer is paying for the part.

Google5Our service technician Johan was incredibly informative about everything he was doing! He came in and accessed our problem and recommended things that were needed but also suggested other solutions. Never once pushing anything that wasn't needed. I definitely would recommend him and this company.

Google5Great timeliness, communication, and attention to detail. Jonah was a pleasure to work with for our garage spring and cable replacement. He was willing to take the time to discuss everything even after he was finished and could have rushed off the job site to begin his Thanksgiving holiday, but stayed to be sure I was well informed. Great work Jonah and Bayside!

Google5I needed some maintenance on my garage door. I called Bayside and they worked with my schedule to come service my door. Jonah showed up right on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. My garage door now operates smoother and quieter than it ever has. The price was very reasonable considering the service that they provided. I highly recommend and will be contacting them soon for a new door when we do our exterior renovation.

Google5Jonah was amazing and extremely quick with fixing our garage! It broke this morning and was back in action just a few hours later, couldn't believe how fast our day turned back around because of Bayside Garage! He was super friendly and efficient, 100% will be a returning customer for ANY garage door needs! GO BILLS!!

Google5Richard is professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend him and his company. He saved me when my garage door spring broke and I couldn't get my car out. His follow-through is rare to find these days. I was updated, by phone, exactly when he would arrive. He deserves major accolades!! Thanks again.

Google5Jonah was on time and in addition to being very efficient, he was also personable. I like to see what is being done and he didn't have a problem with that. He also lubed the track and replaced a bulb (which I had intended to do but never found the time). I was very satisfied- homeowner problems are stressful, so to feel like it was a pleasant experience is a good thing!

Google5Rich from Bayside did an excellent job repairing the broken spring on our garage door and suggesting and not pushing other items that we needed. He was professional and worked quickly and efficiently. Our door was back to up/down within an hour. Thanks for the wonderful experience and would recommend Bayside to anyone who needed an honest and trustworthy company.

Yelp5We used Bayside in 2012 to replace the garage door motor and also installed a keypad for emergency opening. 2 days ago, the door was not opening at all. So I called Bayside since they installed it and their contact info was on a sticker underneath the door switch. They came the next day at 3 pm. Yay! Jonah was the technician and he was polite and efficient. He said he had to replace the track. It only took 30 minutes and everything was finished. If you pay by check, you have to write your Driver's License ID. (They accept card but have a 4% surcharge.) I was surprised they came out quickly even after COVID because any appointment now is minimum 2-3 weeks. Granted garage doors aren't as important as medical/dental/plumbing needs, but its nice that they could do it quickly. Total charge was $250.46 ($190-parts and $60 for labor) They are in Lutz. I would recommend them for any garage door issues.

He was amazing and got everything done within a few hours. It is so hard to find people and companies you can trust but I definitely trust this company and would highly recommend them!

Angi5Bayside was more than happy to talk to me on the phone about just getting a ballpark figure on what I might expect to pay. I am just in the planning stage for completing projects around the house and was happy to not have to deal with high pressure sales since I will not be ready for this project for at least another year. Yelp1The door was jamming up. They inspected and said the rollers needed to be replaced and recommended a new garage opener. Still jammed up after they left. After inspecting the door myself, it was obvious that some of the hinges were bad. They should have noticed this. Had someone else come to fix the problem.

Yelp1We called and informed we had a commercial garage door that had two issues; problem with reception of remote signals and that it was stuck in the up position. I was informed that they charged a min. show up fee which I accepted. When they got there the next day, they called and said that they needed to be two persons to handle the garage. When they arrived days later, I was told that it would cost $450 to fix the problem. I requested to know what their hourly rate was, excl. materials. I was told that they only worked on a fixed price and that it did not matter if this took 15 min. or 4 hours, the price was $450. I told them that as a customer, I did not appreciate their approach as I had very little ability as a customer, to understand if this was a fair or unreasonable fee for the problem. I said I was happy to agree on an hourly charge plus materials, but was forced to accept their fixed price demand as I needed the door fixed as it had been inoperable for a week after having been stood up by another repair company... 20 min. later they called and said they were finished and had left the property. I asked them if they had tested and fixed the remote issue, to which I was told that they only had registered that the door wood not close, not that there was a remote issue which I clearly communicated when I ordered the service!! However, they offered to go back and test to follow up on the remote. They did come back and tested a couple of our tenants remotes and they claimed it worked, which they did - for a day... but has not worked since. Called back yesterday, and informed that the remotes again did not work. Now I was again told to have to accept a new $100 show up charge for the same problem and a fixed quote on top of that to whatever fix they would recommend, even though they obviously did not fix this the first time. They also indicated that there was a strong probability that I would have to replace the complete garage opener as they did not know if they could get parts, and/or if they needed to change the remotes (have 11 remotes...). My conclusion is that I cannot recommend this company to others, they seem to me that they use any opportunity to squeeze the max. money out of you, not to give you a fair and reasonable service. I will never use this guys again..!

Yelp1Would not recommend. My garage door was having issues for several days - different things were occurring. As I was explaining it to them I felt more like I just didn't know what I was talking about since I didn't understand how garage door operates. I was given two choices - to spend either $200 or $400. Turns out I didn't need either. An example where money was a priority over customer service.
