I had this company install a new garage door back in 2020, called them to come out because i was having issues with door staying down, it would come back up and would not stay down, he said he re-programmed the motor and got it to work, however he mentioned that a torsion cable was starting to break and that it needed to be replaced, also said that it was time for a lubrication, i asked him how much for both and he quoted me $749.00, i said whaaaaaat, are you serious??? i looked online to see how much a torsion cable cost and found one for $ 11.99, a better one would cost $ 19.99, also went on you tube to see how people lubricate garage doors and all you need is a can of w-d 40, thats it, so i went and showed him that i found a cable for as low as 11.99 and also mentioned that to lubricate the door and hinges all you need is a can of w-d 40 and the look on his face was priceless, LoL, so i said your company charges about $ 715.00 for about 1 hour of labor haa ?? he said sorry but it is what the company charges , i don't set prices, Be VERY VERY careful with these types of company's , they will try and rip you off as much as they can, needless to say they will not ever be coming back to my house for any garage repairs that i need done, ( just in case if the company messages me back on this review my name is Pedro from tampa fl, your tech came out today 8/12/23 @ 9:02 AM, a lot of company's will reply to reviews with , I don't find you in our system, well i'm there and YES this is real. Thank you Precision for trying to rip me off...Zero stars if i could.
