The lifting cables broke on our old wood garage door. I called Overhead Door for repair. Robby came out and replaced the cables and rewound the spring. He also installed a new weather seal on the bottom of the door. His work was professional and courteous. The old door works like new.

One of our two Overhead Door Garage Doors got dinged during the March '21 hale storm. After appraisal, I contacted the local dealer who initially installed our doors (Wm. S Trimble Company) and Robbie came to the house and assessed our needs. The staff discovered it would cost less and be more efficient to replace the entire door vs 3 panels and that is what happened. Robbie handled all the removal and installation. Even coming back on a second trip to attach weather stripping since the cladding around the doors had to be replace by another service, first. We have had the garage doors since mid 2012. This is one great investment that we've made, in my opinion, in our home. I would not hesitate to buy them, again, if I needed garage doors. I am also assured that service will be prompt and skillful with service technicians like Robbie

I called for an appointment last week and was able to get in almost the next day. The tech that came out was very nice (Robby), he walked me through what needed to be done and even put my new system in that same day. He even programmed my car and showed me how to do my husbands for later. The price was very reasonable and the door closes so quiet. Would recommend to anyone!

We purchased our garage doors from Overhead Door Company of Johnson City almost 6 years ago. Great price and service back then. This morning we had an issue with one of the doors not closing. The tech (Robbie) was able to come out today (!!) and fix the issue. Great fast service and reasonable price for a great product!

The repairman came when promised but was unable to diagnosis or solve the problem. He told us that Mighty Mule Gate Openers are inferior and he doesn't install them or know how to work on them. We told him before his second visit that we wanted a sensor wand hard wired and placed in conduit and yet he came without the conduit . After several hours and two visits, he gave up and left us with a gate that was not working any better. He did however send us a hefty bill,not itemitized, of $465. Do not call this company for repairs to a Mighty Mule. Services Rendered: Our Mighty Mule Gate Opener was malfunctioning.. The Mighty Mule Company referred us to Overhead Door Company for repairs.

A 15 minute service call to repair a mistake they made in rigging my garage door. I talked with the owner and explained they were repairing a mistake made by their employees on a prior call some months ago. She ignored my information and demanded a service fee. Do not deal with these ridiculous greedy people. You can find better on this list. Services Rendered: Service call to repair their rigging mistake

Great! Products are first rate. Brat insulates doors. They seal tightly. Openers are so quiet you may not notice when one of us comes in. Expert installation. No problems since installed. The representative took the time to listen to what we wanted done. Other companies showed up, were prepared to patch up what we had but didn't really listen when we told them we were unhappy with our existing system. Overhead Door has been in business foe quite some time and I expect them to be so for as long as I will have to worry about garage doors! I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Services Rendered: Replaced both garage doors and openers and installed outside keypad

Overall, a good experience. I would recommend staying in close contact with the company (time seemed to lag between contact). Once the fianl door was in and to my statisfaction, I am completely pleased with the result. Services Rendered: We had Overhead Door install a replacement garage door. When inital replacement door arrived, there was a miscommunication as to where the windowed panel would be installed. Once up, I realized that the windows for the door were in the wrong place. Overhead Door ordered a new panel from the manufacturer. Once that replacement panel arrived, they found that it was damaged in shipping. So a third panel was ordered, arrived and was installed. Field technician was fantastic and professional.

I think it went very well. I left a message for them yesterday (Sunday) and again this morning. I told them it's a broken spring, and we should probably replace 2. I learned what the problem was by researching youtube and Angie's list. We were lucky that my car was the only one stuck in the garage. My husband was able to go to work. We weren't desperate, and could shop around. After seeing that people were spending $400 to $500 for spring replacements, I made sure to ask how much it would be for the repair. We were able to shop around. The woman told me there's a $65 service call, a charge for the spring, and an hourly charge (I just remember the total estimate was $225. I said fine and she said someone would be out in the afternoon. Jason, the tech, didn't have the right spring. It didn't take long for him to run back and get the right one, as we were nearby. So I am not going to mark off his rating for that. He was done within a half hour, and adjusted everything. He even showed me how to lubricate everything. He said that 7 years is about the life of the spring. With a 2 car garage, he said there's double the opening because you are opening for one car at a time. He explained that there are differences in the way people put springs up. Some people put them in tight and file them down. Maybe that's taking more time and why some people are paying more. Jason said that we might need a new motor soon, when there was a squeaking noise coming from the motor. I'd use this company again if needed. Services Rendered: They replaced 2 broken springs on our garage door. This is the kind that is flush to the wall.
