Yelp1If you work with this company beware that the owner walks away from problems. I ordered a ten thousand dollar garage door and it arrived with chipped paint. The factory sent several bottles of touch-up paint by none matched. I was informed by the owner that the factory would ship a new panel to replace the chipped one. Every month I checked with him and every time I was given an excuse. After a year and a half with no remedy, I suggested we hire a painter to paint the whole door and be done with it. That is when I learned the company had been bought out and there was never a new panel on the way. I spent hours and days finding the right painter, the correct paint, and hired the painter myself. Burke did offer to pay for the job after I sent them a certified letter. He refused to pay the entire bill, so I had to pony up the balance. I think there are garage door companies that will take your concerns to heart and not jerk you around for months and lie to you. I don't recommend this company at all if you like good service.

Yelp5Thought I needed a new garage door. Luckily, Andrew told me he believed my issue could be repaired which would save me alot of $. Andrew and Rick were prompt, had great communication, were professional and efficient with their work. Super satisfied and nothing is better than supporting a local business! Not sure how their pricing matches up to others but seemed fair.

Yelp5It is rare to find someone who understands what excellent customer service means. Andrew Burke is one of those individuals. He came by shortly after our first call to see our garage door for himself and then spent a good deal of time trying to see if our unit was repairable. When he determined it could not be, he told me my options and price. When my schedule shifted he was able to accommodate me and installed the opener earlier than expected. And when he was finished, he had programmed cars and made certain that I fully understood the operation. Great job Andrew.

Yelp5The garage door got hung up on a cardboard box and it threw off the alignment of the door, the track was bent, rollers fell out, and the guide wire was off the spool. Called him at 8 PM on a Friday and he came out at 9 AM on a Saturday. Fixed that door in no time. Super pleasant, affordable, and not trying to play on your fears and up-sell on a bunch of stuff. My family and I had nothing but bad experiences with other garage door companies. Do yourself a favor...call him and skip the rest.

Google5Huge shout out to Burke Overhead Door. I called them out as my garage door has been giving me trouble. They showed up on time, quickly noticed that the sensor was off, readjusted it, checked the mechanism, and left without charging me. They could have told me I needed a new opener or the motor was bad or whatever but no, they were honest and kind. I highly recommend this business and will be calling them next time I need garage door repair. Fingers crossed; not for a while.

Yelp5Highly recommend Burke Overhead Doors. Andrew and his team were professional, friendly, and clean. One of our springs had broken and we called Burke for a quote. The price was reasonable and fair so I asked for a quote for a new door since our old door had a few dents and was showing its age. I was pleasantly surprised by the quote for the new door with the new springs, weather stripping, installation, haul away of our old door and within a few weeks it was installed. We are very happy with the results and the customer service.

Google5The tension spring on my garage door snapped with my car "inside". I was certain it would be another day before I could get an appointment for someone to fix it. I called Burke's and spoke with Andrew (Owner) and he was able to come out and repair it the same day. Andrew was very professional, clearly an expert and the price was fair. I would recommend him to friends and family. Thanks Andrew!

Yelp5I needed two remotes for my garage door opener. My system was probably more than 23 years old and still worked fine. I didn't want to spend the money on a brand new system. I talked to Andrew and he said he could provide me with 2 new universal remotes and program them to my system. He then told me if you want to save some money you can buy them yourself online. He gave me the part number of the remotes and in fact he saved me about $50 on the two remotes. Andrew also said instead of him coming out to program them which would be a service call of $120 he could walk me through the programming over the phone at no charge. How awesome is the guy. Burke Overhead Door is not in business to gouge people or take advantage of them. I just thought people should know what a great company they are and what honest people they are. I will always refer them to anyone in need of garage door service.

Yelp5Andrew came out to our house to check out why our garage door wasn't opening. It turns out it was at the end of its life. He made a few suggestions for replacements and we followed through on one of the options. The new garage door opener came with two remotes, wireless keypad, and door opener with a thermostat and sensor. It's a great unit that even allows us to open the door through an app since it's equipped with WiFi! We are very happy with his service and new unit.

Andrew is knowledgeable, personable and truly cares about his customers. He explains the issues and/or problems, provides multiple options to fix the issues/problems and quotes a price that is both fair and reasonable. Andrew is a business owner who takes pride in the quality of work he does and understands the meaning of customer satisfaction. Yelp5Give people a little more than they expect and you have a customer for life. That's an old business adage that seems to have faded into a oblivion. However, it's a practice that's very much alive with Burke Overhead Door. The night before a three week trip the spring on my garage door broke rendering it useless. I was concerned that my wife would have to deal with that while I was gone so I called Burke. Bob went out of his way to assure me that he would take care of it the very next day, only hours after I had left, and that I needn't worry. True to his word he did just that, but here's the kicker, he didn't charge us a penny. Bob had just been at my house the week before to replace the garage door light sensors and in passing we chuckled that it was a good thing it wasn't the spring or I'd of been stuck that day. Turns out Bob felt so bad about that unfortunate coincidence that he decided not to charge me anything. It worked, with anything garage door related I'm a customer for life.

Not only did he do a wonderful job installing our new garage door, but when our homeowners association decided that the one we picked wasn't right, he ordered and installed the "right one" within a few days. Reasonable prices, caring & went over and beyond. I can't thank them enough.

Google5My garage door opener was malfunctioning so searched for repairmen and read reviews. Burke Overhead door was one I called. Andrew returned my call promptly yet we played phone tag. Meanwhile spoke & interviewed a few other companies. Some could not give me a LOCAL Business address-No TY. Another did not get back to me with an appt time for next day service as they stated. Ended up going with Andrew. Great communication w updates on arrival time, prompt, courteous & knowledgeable. His price was a tad higher but he beat it upon my request. VERY HAPPY as door is working super and even much quieter than before!

Google5Andrew replaced a garage door opener for me, and I couldn't be happier with this service and product. He provided a great product and installed it quickly and with no issues. It works really well and is 100% quieter than before. The price was fair for the value provided. He was able to schedule me in quickly, arrived on time, and everything turned out great. If you need help with a garage door, call Burke. You won't be disappointed.

Google5I called Burke Overhead doors because they had good ratings on Google. I was delighted when Andrew arrived and helped me with my door problem. He solved the issue right away and generously gave me advice. He was kind, competent and generous. I will always call this company and Andrew Burke when I need garage door help and repair. He's a gem!
