The staff and technicians at Ventura County Overhead Door are lifesavers, our gate- which we rely on to keep our livestock guardian dogs in- got jammed open, therefore terrifying the neighbors. I called and within minutes Daniel was able to calmly talk me through a reset, offering tips and advice should it happen again. I should add, they installed this gate system years ago, were professional and competitively priced. It's not the new product you worry about, but any issues down the line & these guys have you covered!

Talking about Mr. Daniel Guyette!!!! Amazing and highly professional. Devoted to client care and level of service. I'd give Ventura County Overhead Door a perfect 10. Arrived within an hour of calling, identified the problem, made suggestions and recommendations. Resolved the problem and saved me money! What a blessing! Seriously, you can't go wrong with this company.

Used Ventura County Overhead doors today to fix our eclectic gate in Santa Barbara. We had a appointment for tomorrow but they called and said they could come today. Jake was professional, friendly and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in about an hour. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I highly recommend Ventura County Overhead door. We received amazing customer service, fast responses and we were scheduled for installation quickly. The installers were professional and knowledgeable and we are so happy with our upgraded motor and door!

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE of Ventura overhead. They charge an enormous amount of money for their services, parts amd labor. I had a spring replaced on 11/29/22 and they carged me $675!. Took one hour. Only part was the spring. like an idiot, out of curiousity, I checked two other garage door conpanies the next day that service Ventura and they would have charged 385 to 480. Overhead gave a one MONTH guarantee. The other companies - 5 years! When I called the next day (Jennifer, manager) to inquire why are you so dissporportionally high they gave no reason at all. No offer for any partial refund, no credit for future repairs, nothing. When you get a door or have a needed repair - shop around! You will save hundreds of dollars. And if I were you, never use this company. Way way too expensive.

Service person -checked everything and determined it was a faulty remote. We got rid of remote. He then serviced rails with special lubricant -installed a special stability rod where he saw panels were cracking. Excellent service. Scott the service person came out within a few hours and quickly fixed the problem. He was knowledgeable and friendly. After fixing the door he did needed maintenance. This is the same company that installed the door and they did an excellent job putting it in replacing our old wooden one. Laura answered the phone. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Provided quotes over the phone covering multiple options - longer warranty, least expensive, and service only (if I purchased the part separately). Andy was at my house within 20 minutes of my call to complete the service and haul away the older parts. He was friendly and professional. Did the work and more - put the wall opener in a better position that included tacking down the electrical cord so it did not hang like it did before; lubricated all moving parts on the garage door itself; and adjusted the tension on the garage door. This was separate work from the install of the garage opener work itself. He tolerated my hovering over him because I was genuinely interest in the process of replacing everything that hung from the top of the garage. Services Rendered: Replaced the chain drive garage door opener.

We do have an HOA and Nancy made sure that I did have approval for the repair which I didn't even think about getting (and I did need approval). After we got the ok for replacement, Nancy came by on a Saturday, gave us a quote and after paying 1/2 deposit the door was ordered. Once the door came in the install Scott called me to set up the install time. He said my door was due in the following day and could we do it first thing in the morning. I was really surprised that I did not have to wait longer for the install date. Scott said he would be there between 8 and 10 am, and that it would most likely be right about 9. At 8:45 (approx) he call to let me know that the truck with my door had not arrived, but he would let me know as soon as he had it and would be on his way over. My garage door spring broke and we had two cars in the garage at the time. I went to Angie's List and found Ventura Overhead Door. I phoned them and told them one of the cars needed to be out of the garage (to get one of us to work) within an hour. This company not only listened to our dilemma, but responded and got the door open in time for us to get to work. Additionally, they were quick with the repair(finished in approximately 45 minutes) and didn't charge any 'extra fee' for the prompt response. I will definitely use them again! Called tenant and arrived the same day that I had called them. Tenant felt well taken care of and was extremely happy with a well lubricated and working garage door. Services Rendered: On overhead garage door reattached truss rod brackets and tightened truss rods to align door correctly. Replaced up limit on the operator, lubed and serviced all moving parts.
