Great experience! I converted my garage to a gym and will be heating it this winter so I insulated above the garage in the attic space and upgraded the garage doors to high quality insulated No pressure sales / design. Super nice. High quality work. Would certainly recommend to others and use again.
I just moved into a home in Essex and was dreading tackling the garage doors that are broken. I called Limoge and Sons wanting to have them take a look and see what it may cost to fix. Highly recommend! Our garage door had broken in the morning, and they came out to our house that day to completely fix it by the time the workday ended. We worked with Sid, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to talk with him while he fixed our door and taught me a few things along the way. Limoge and Sons is now on speed dial should we have any garage door needs in the future.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My garage door overhead cable snapped Friday evening after parking my car in my garage. After several failed attempts to manually open the garage door to get my car out, I went into panic mode. Seeing that Overhead Door Co (the company I have always used) was closed and would not open until Monday morning, I just cut my losses for the weekend. On Saturday, I was out with a friend and happened to pass by Limoge & Sons. After a quick google search I saw they offered 24/7 emergency services. I gave them a call and the dispatcher couldn't have been any nicer, she got my number and told me a technician would be in touch with me. Within minutes a technician, who also couldn't have been nicer, gave me a call and went over all of my options: said someone could absolutely come over the weekend and quoted me an emergency service visit, he also offered for someone to come on Monday and quoted me a regular visit (both options seemed very financially feasible, in my opinion). I opted to wait until Monday-- yet another friendly employee called around 11am to see if it was a good time to come, got here around 11:20, assessed and explained the issue, fixed the problem and was done within 20 minutes. I am so impressed with how friendly everyone I dealt with was, how speedy the service was, and how inexpensive everything was. Also provided a wonderful opportunity to support a local business! If I ever have another issue with my garage door Limoge & Sons will be the first call I make-- I will also be quick to recommend them to others. Over the years we've had several times when our garage door would not open because of mechanical problems . Limoge has always come to the rescue and fixed the problem. Last spring the electronics gave out (after twenty four years). The Limoge tech recommended that we replace all but the door which we did. The price was very reasonable and the service was great. I highly recommend the company.
We have had Limoge & Sons install countless garage doors both commercially and residentially for us over the last 30+ years. If I could leave 10 stars I truly would. Reliable, trustworthy, Fair.
Called yesterday to have them come out and assess both garage doors for either repair or replacement. One would not go up or down and was stuck about half way. The other would go down but bounce back up about half the time. I was hoping they would be able to get out by the end of the week to do the assessment. I came home last night to both doors functioning smoothly and a very reasonable charge I am more than happy to pay. Well done!
Immediate response, quick scheduling, and quality work! Sid was able to come out the afternoon that we called and quickly fixed our garage door and replaced a roller that was getting rusty, but also re-adjusted the bottom seal so the door completely closes. The other garage repair company we hired last time had been unable to figure out how to fix the door, but Sid adjusted the tension on the springs and guide wires and the motor settings until it closed properly. Limoge came promptly, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed both the structural and wiring problems. Very happy with the work. Highly recommend them.
David quickly figured out that the problem was caused by loose framing that put pressure on the sensor wiring. He reinforced the framing, fixed the wiring and everything worked fine. He did a great job and I definitely would use Limoge again in the future. Services Rendered: A sensor light was out and the door was not closing
Fantastic service from these guys. I called them yesterday to order a new opener and it was done when I got home from work today. They also did above and beyond repair work on the door back in 2011. They came to replace the springs when one broke, but they also fixed the horrible alignment that the installer of the previous opener had left me with.

They came the next day and checked out my garage door which was going down most of the way and then reversing and going back up. They tried out a few things and got it working without having to replace any parts, and it has been working well ever since. Services Rendered: Garage door was not closing
Rick was great to deal with, very helpful throughout the process, and communicated promptly. The person who did the install was very friendly and helpful, as well. It turned out that our old opener was hard-wired (not to code), but we came up with a workaround so that the install could be completed. I installed a box later that night, and all is good. These guys are amazing. DO NOT EVER call Overhead Door instead of Limoge. Overhead was unresponsive and very unprofessional. Limoge went beyond my expectations for less money than I expected. We have two Industrial 20 foot garage doors. The first time we ever had an issue with them I called their competition. Their competition told me it would be at least two weeks to fix the door that was wide open. I called Limoge and Sons and they came over within an hour to repair our garage door. I've used them ever since. Last night when it's 10 below zero, one of our doors broke. I called around 5 last night and let them know the garage door was down and it wasn't a huge rush to come and fix it. Because of the weather they were beyond busy. They showed up this morning at 8:30 to fix the door. Their bills are always reasonable and I get better service from them than I do most restaurants. Trust me when I tell you, if you need work, they are the only ones to call.
Called and had an estimate and a repair person at my house within 30 minutes. The repair was performed quickly and professionally within an hour. The repair person was friendly and very competent. They came quickly, and were able to fix it, saving the cost of replacement (which I was thinking I would have to pay). They also suggested replacing the deteriorating bumper on bottom of garage door and were able to do it the same day (to save the cost of a return service trip) at a reasonably low cost.
